Those ships are the bane of my existence with those radar missiles.
What I've found works best is flying low (like really low) notching and jamming
Just get below 17-23 meters over water and you will be to get close as you need they wont ahot mssiles however they will shot guns around 2km from yoy
Yeah those bastards are a pain in the ass. Try going low and use both radar and IR defenses if locked. There is no 100% safe way to deal with it.

This is a great game. Better than a lot of so-called AAA games out there.

Baldurs gate 3, Spider-Man 2, Zelda TOTK, Dead island 2, The finals, Armored core 6, Final Fantasy 16, Resident evil 4 remake I could go on and on. I don't understand at what point AAA weren't producing multiple good titles a year. Literally every year since gaming started has had Good, average and bad games but the past few years it's picked up a lot of negativity guess people are just becoming burnt out?
I take your point.... But none of the games you've mentioned are accessible combat flight simulators and interestingly all of them are sequels.

In that there is a BG1 and a BG2 and BG3 is a sequel to those games set in the same universe? .... Yes... It is "kind of true" ;)
Adding cruisers with anti ship missiles would be pretty cool, have small naval battles
Love this game !! Its the perfect fill while we wait for a new ace combat lol . But this game offers more than a ace combat but not to complicated like a dcs . And the devs are always listening to the community on discord . I cant wait to see what else comes in the future especially with air craft carriers

Oh, they've added a ship? Well then, let me be the first to declare that the absence of ship interiors is a clear sign that the game's devs are ignoring the player base, have clearly abandoned the game, and that it's now in "maintenance mode". 😂
I feel dirty for just typing that. Going to go take a shower now. The game really does look very cool. I'll give it a spin after the holidays.

I love this game. Got my two PC gaming buddies in it as well. I love how easy it is to tweak the existing missions to make it fun for all. Also love the variety of aircraft. Looking forward to having more ground vehicle and other various options to add to the mix. I assume since we see downed pilots, that they'll add rescue ops some day? My only real complaint after finding out why he allows all AA weapons to intercept any missile (game balancing), is that he absolutely MUST add Chaff defense in addition to Flares and ECM. I mean EVERY modern combat aircraft has at minimum chaff and flares (already has flares so easy add-on) but not electronic countermeasure pods. Those are typically "strap-on" items especially without dedicated EM aircraft. So Mitch, if you're seeing this PLEASE add chaff.... especially for the bomber, but honestly everything needs it. This is very much a tactical combat flight sim where chaff and flares are more useful than radar jamming. But definitely looking forward to the Wild Weasel missions coming in the future.
I believe search and rescue is in the planning.
adding a naval strategy level would be soo cool
I just learned of this game from another channel and almost immediately added to my wishlist. Might make another bad finance choice tonight (I know it's only $15 but I'm broke😂)

The shard class corvette kinda looks like a cross between the zumwalt class destroyer and the independence class littoral combat ship from real life!
Updates for nuclear option gets me 1000x more excited than updates for DCS. That's saying something. I can't wait for carrier ops, and hopefully more aircraft. Since shot down pilots show up on the map, it'd be awesome to get some kind of SAR helo to pick them up and say, get them back in the air or something. Even at the state the game is now it's awesome. It's the perfect blend of arcade with a dash of realism.
This looks like a really fun game! I hope that when it does launch, it can be launched on consoles too!

This game looks really great BUT I can't help but think its missing one major feature and that is being able to build your own vehicles KSP style. THAT is the game I'd love to play.
Me flying below 30m to dodge the ships radar missiles just to get peppered with lead was a blast 😆
why nobody talking about how cool the explosions in this game are? like, that kind of shock waves are not common to see in other games

just wanna see it evolve graphically and provide a war thunder type feel like all on one map though just total all out war everything in one sandbox tanks aircraft hummers gun/battleships
The escalation mode is certainly close to that as long as you're happy to just control aircraft :)

Currently, yes. It's still in early access.
I hope this game adds carrier ops.
