Excellent guide, thank you. I love the game and the Medusa, but could not figure out how to best use it. This helps a lot. A more detailed play-through / tutorial would be good too.
Excellent guide on the Medusa, thank you. While i have some experience with it primarily for taking down enemy radar stations, i had no idea to use it against Shard Corvettes or as AWACS. I appreciate your review efforts!
The Medusa is by far the best SEAD platform in the game, capable of rendering even the most heavily-defended airbases vulnerable. A pop-up saturation attack from an Ifrit loaded with PAB-80s may do the job, but a Medusa can do the job better.
Fantastic video. Can we get 60fps/HDR? Just easier on the eyes. Do we know if enemy vehciles have limited ammo? Can you bait all the missles from a given SAM site, for example?
High framerate HDR is beyond the ability of my laptop. All vehicles do have limited ammo, but can get more from HLT munitions trucks, which have an infinite supply.
So I have managed to get a kill using the Madusa's laser *once* and I still have no idea how it happened. Been trying to replicate it with no success I fired the laser as a Cricket that was within a few hundred meters and it just... died
i get for video purpose and such, but why use slow motion everytime you make a map choice? i find it to remove most of the challenge of the game and i kinda find it more fun doing stuff on the fly and not as the flash
@@Vlamyncksken if you open the map you can select targets on it. I call it a map choice since you are choosing a target from the map. My main gripe was that they do slow motion which removes any semblance of a skill for map orientation or timing
Counterpoint: in a real aircraft your navigator/WSO would be doing this job for you while you fly. By using slow motion, you get to be your own navigator without overwhelming yourself as a pilot.

I'm working on a plan for it.

I like the designs.. it is a fun setting
This looks like a fun but challenging ac to fly in MP

Anyone know how to get track IR to work consistently? It only works for me for like a minute or two or until I or my cat bump the mouse.
Needs to be VR

To each their own.
I use both in any given flight, myself.
@@michaelwestmoreland2530 I suppose I’m more so just saying that it feels cheap to me and removes any challenge is all but yea I get why some do it
What is a "map choice"? Honest question

why isnt this plane a 2 player plane?
because multicrew is not implemented, and the devs chose workload as a limiting factor
@@vincentvoncarnap i feel like certain planes should have 2 players. EW aircraft especially
@@vincentvoncarnaplazy, VTOL has multiple multi crew aircraft and has constant developer feed back
@@philupmycuppp2902 the aircraft in nuclear option have a lot less complexity, there would be no point
