29:33 Sexiest Soviet warship in history. I love the logic that went into its design: "Hey, so we haven't had a functional navy since 1905, we certainly can't afford to build even one decent aircraft carrier, let alone enough of them to challenge the Americans, so how about we build a battleship hull and stuff it full of missile tubes?" I don't know if it would have really been an effective surface combatant, but I can say with confidence that it fulfilled its primary mission to make Ronald Reagan shit himself, admirably.
You know tossing missles at other ships on the high seas is cool and all but I'm so stoked that you can attack positions on land. That was something I always wanted in War On The Sea. Don't get me wrong I love WOTS but that would of made it much more fun.
James Madison Class should definitely be in there. They entered service in 64 and were in the fleet until 95. Importantly they were also modified later to carry the Poseidon and then 6 of the class modified again to carry the Trident C4. They were an important deterrent in the period in which this game is set.
Huge praise to the designers for such an extensive and beautifully modeled list. Love to see the Moskva and Su-15, two of my favorite pieces of Soviet kit. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES (First reaction to come to mind). It is exactly what i wanted to see from you haha.
I hope the mission editor is slick to use. This looks a great sandbox sim.
Epic!
29:31 "Pyotr Velikiy" The Golden Goat. Great scott the missile names are all wrong but the rest of the armament is correct.
That's cool they have the Austin class ships my grandfather served on USS Austin herself
I hope there will be some more German surface fleet in the final release. Would be nice
Great Video, thank you😀good to see the Tico´s are in the game.
You know tossing missles at other ships on the high seas is cool and all but I'm so stoked that you can attack positions on land. That was something I always wanted in War On The Sea. Don't get me wrong I love WOTS but that would of made it much more fun.
Now I need to see Operation Praying Mantis done in this game
Nice to see Kiki's Delivery Service is still in the trans-ocean intermodal logistics game, its a tough busuness!
Looks promising, I still play the old Jane's Fleet Command from the late 1990's, and has been waiting for a worthy successor ever since 😊❤
James Madison Class should definitely be in there. They entered service in 64 and were in the fleet until 95. Importantly they were also modified later to carry the Poseidon and then 6 of the class modified again to carry the Trident C4. They were an important deterrent in the period in which this game is set.
this game isn't even Early Access... i'd guess "in good time"
Huge praise to the designers for such an extensive and beautifully modeled list. Love to see the Moskva and Su-15, two of my favorite pieces of Soviet kit. Only thing I'd like to see (other than royal navy expansion) might be a few more French aircraft, and the Tu-22 non M version, both for middle-east scenarios. Maybe my USN nuclear cruisers...
Modern and realistic counterpart of Battlestations series.
I want it now
Yep I’m getting popcorn for this one
this looks fab.... I can see people doing missions based off RSR already... 😍
The possibility are endless I can't wait and I hope they get the steam workshop up and working like they talked about
Falklands War scenario where you can play as both sides would be awesome.
Great vid 🙌super stoked for this game!
Kinda' surprised the Mi-14 didn't appear - those nuclear depth bombs would be killer to see here :D
I already made Haze for Cold Waters so there's hoping it will show up in here too down the road during EA ;)
Interesting to see some fictional aircraft, didn't expect it. Notably the P42 AEW. IIRC it was a paper plane but I could be wrong.
Finally having Oslo class in graphics! It was so disapppointing to have fake model ships in mods on Cold waters
Look great! Would love to see when RN is added. And maybe some Iroquois class for the RCN
Game looks very promising and comprehensive, can't wait to try it. It would be awesome to have some user created scenarios set in Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising universe. Here's hoping for a Falklands dlc/mod too after release, heroic sailors and aviators on both sides, they definitely deserve to be represented in a game for once.
God i hope they keep adding more things! Imagine some Hinds as CAS and some su27 and su33s
I start to like this game. The Mig-28 was hillarious XDDDDD.
And the music is also great, reminds me of Hunt for Red October OST.
Looks like a modern fleet command. I’m probably getting this!
Great models. This looks really like cold waters +. Like the surface mod.
God I love the OHP Class, my favorite ship of all time.
