For the next firmware update: Allow users to select the crop mode regardless of lens! Sigma APS-C lens forces you into APS-C crop. Please allow users to select the crop mode they want.
In full frame mode there would be a dark vignette, curious to what the advantages would be as you loose resolution cropping out that vignette.
@@PopoRamosIf I’m not mistaken, with something like the Sigma 18-35, it usually covers a full frame sensor at around 24-35mm - at least 16:9. The same can sometimes be applied to other zooms.

@LumixUSA Will there be an update which will support HIGH E-stabilization when using Anamorphic video? Because currently it's not supported.
@LumixUSA I do not see an option to download the proxy to the phone (which would be super useful). Do I miss anything obvious?
Is it possible to reduce the HDMI lag on the S5II/x?
@LumixUSA this is non essential but additional slot for more LUTs would be appreciated 👀 ideally (16) 8 for vLog/RealtimeLut, 8 for photo/stills 🙏 or alternatively a slider to adjust how much transformation a lut does in photo style settings
@Lumix USA. As an IT Administrator that runs system backups, I think it would be beneficial to have a feature that exports the config settings plus the camera firmware info out to a plain text file on the memory card.
@LumixUSA Two related things.
First, it would be great if you put "official" LUTS into some easy to find folder. Currently it is a mess...
Second, if the visualization LUT is different to the video LUT, this is really terribly counterintuitive. I am applying a monitoring Nicest709, and then when I edit I drop a Nicest709 (same LUT from a hidden place in the Panasonic website) on the footage. I would expect that what I see in monitoring (overall look, highlights) would be the same after applying the LUT in the NLE.
If that is really different, you need to create a clear differentiation and post those LUTs more clearly.
For instance,
"LUT_Nicest709_from_VLOG_Monitoring"
"LUT_709_from_VLOG_RealtimeLUT"
"LUT_Nicest709_from_Natural_RealtimeLUT"
... and so on. To make this feature take off we need LUTs that make our life easier and not more complicated.
If we want Realtime LUT to take off in photography, we need some Lumix LUTs that start in normal color profiles and not VLOG.
What's up with the GH6 ? still streaking the F out of my work. Fixable from update or it's sensor problem and that's why Lumix is not admiting this problem ?
Can you please cover the Time Code Use/Settings?
Did anybody else have trouble downloading the firmware update? I tried formatting 2 different SD card on and no luck
Few things to make sure of. 1, make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned off, 2, make sure that when you put the .bin file on the card that it is in the root directory of the card and that the card was ejected from your computer. That should clear up any issues. - Sean.
