Sometimes it takes me a while, but I always try to respond to every comment. It's the least I can do for people who take the time to watch and comment on my videos. Thanks again for watching!
Hi Brad. I mentioned a while back (when the body was still off the frame ) that now would be a good time to do the brake and fuel lines, Yes , im calling you out on that. Anyway , glad you have them done.
Thanks Randy. Doing the plumbing with the body off would definitely be easier, and if I was running stock lines everywhere I probably would have. But with all the changes I made, it was tough (for me at least) to know how/where to run the lines until more things were assembled. In the end it really wasn't too bad. I guess maybe I'm used to working under the car. I appreciate you always watching man!
Hey there Brad, it's Craig here from Australia 🇦🇺. The car is looking amazing and l think it would look Mad painted Silver. There's a really nice Mercedes Silver. Food for thought. Catch you next time.
A progress update from the past ....lol ; like watching a movie. You do nice work though ; and that 55 looks to have been in really good condition based on the under car shots. Thanks for the update.
Haha thanks man. It was in pretty good condition, but it took a ton of work to make the underside look like it does. I appreciate you watching. Stay tuned for more new, and old, updates coming soon!
We will watch whatever you do on your car including old videos. At least I will. Nice work on the break lines. 👏 why did the front clip look a different color than the rest of the car? I was thinking that maybe your car would actually look good in silver 🤔
Thanks Gorni. The front end looks brighter because it was freshly sanded. The rest of the body has been bare for quite some time. I will resand all of it before protecting the metal. At that point it should all look the same.
@@OLDSPANKY1967 Nope, I don't have a channel. I know the car does have a small following, I don't yet know what the solution to that is. I'm not planning on changing it visually but will be getting some upgrades (like brakes) but it will stay mostly the same. I would love to do powertour or something like that with it someday.
@oldspanky1967 Well I guess the cat's out of the bag. DDSS '57 be gone. Thanks for asking. I may have some more footage of some other work I did to it in future videos. I appreciate you watching!
Now don't you be given Moose a hard time. Moose is doing what a cat should be doing.. ruling the roost (or garage, in this case). ;) Car is looking (looked) good. Hope now it looks even better.
Dont understand why you. Put flex lines on the rear end you just need one from the frame to the rear. The rest is solid line to both cilinders on the rear end ???????
The rear now has disc brakes Dale. The stock setup was as you describe, but with the disc brakes you need a flexible hose for a little float and also to be able to remove the caliper. Thanks for watching!
The 55' looks fantastic
Thanks man! I agree!
Always enjoy watching you share Moose's space - lol !
Haha yeah I'm just glad he lets me hang around the shop with him!
I think it is Great that You take the time to Respond to all of your Comments! keep up the Great work! I can't wait for the next Video! Rock On!

Thanks for always watchin Craig. I have been tossing the silver idea around a bit...

Can you Please give us an update on the DD Speed Shop 57 Chevy? Do you still Have it, or did you sell it?
The DD Speed Shop 57 sold. It lives in eastern Washington now...

Love your cat :-)
Thanks. I would tell him you said so, but it'll just make him more of a diva...
What ever happened with the oil pan leak that you were trying to fix?
It was an epic struggle like most things have been gor me. Stay tuned for more on that. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Joe. It is indeed looking better now. At least I think it does. Stay tuned for updates!
Please clear coat the 55
Thanks for the advice. There will be a video posted soon of what I decided to do with the bare metal. I appreciate you watching!

The rear is disc, not drum. The calipers float so you want hoses there too...
