If it's an advanced group (like HDPE4 NASA) I didn't see anything wrong. You didn't say. The guy leaving the track likely had a mechanical issue so it's probably better than not leaving the track.
Exactly....if this is open passing I didn't see an issue with the passes. What I did see was the driver of the video not holding the correct racing line which opens you up to all sorts of inside and outside passing from faster cars.
I’m assuming this was a speed venture event? Looks like a beemerchallege day with Andrews White M3 on a time attack hot lap…. Not much you can do when your running 1:48-50 and the organizers fill up Advanced with ppl running 15 secs slower. Still not condoning the driving
I was literally thinking the same thing - this must be SpeedVentures LOL. I was at CVR on Friday 2/16 for the test and tune right before the NASA weekend and was glad to leave at lunch. Place was a mad house with terrible drivers.
@snell2k yea the CVR open days are like wild wild west sometimes 😆 Not many NASA drivers are there for that. I've been to many Speedventures events and they've been ok. Sometimes you get a crazy group like this one in the video 🤷♂️

I only got as high as HDPE 3, drivers in front had to signal for you to pass

NASA HPDE4, there is no hot lapping/timing.

Wow, quite a session! I don't think I was on track for that particular one, but that weekend was a little hectic overall.
HPDE is just W2W apparently.
Haha, sure seemed like it during this session, little regard for safety by several drivers :(
