i cant imagine how terrifying that would be after regaining conciousness. out of all the scenarios though that was probably the best outcome losing control on the highway.
When it senses the car losing control, it tries to correct itself by turning the real wheels at different speeds separately. Then the owners continue to floor it.
I remember seeing the original video years ago, the original video just popped back up again which lead me here. I am glad to see you are ok, thanks for the explanation.
As a Mustang owner, I feel your pain. I’ve never seen a dash cam mounted in the backseat, typically it’s at the top of the windshield. Anyway your unorthodox camera position certainly made the video more informative and interesting. Glad you survived, would love to see photos of the restored Mustang.
Thank you so much for having the courageous to share with us and congratulations on finishing the car. Sure it would’ve been great if this never happened, but like you said, look at you now. You and your car are part of a larger history now.
it was obviously the banking of the hill. A steeringwheel has to be forced if you're going sideways up a hill. Letting it go will make it go the path of least resistance..
I've passed out twice before, always with dizziness and nausea about 10 seconds before losing control and waking up after about a min. First time I was giving blood and already lying down. The second time I was dehydrated. Thankfully just hit my head on a shower floor that had some give to it. Praise God you're alive my friend. I thought the same thing. The steering just naturally wanting to turn left at the speed he was travelling. If he was travelling any faster it wouldn’t have mage a difference.
Plus after hitting through the fence the second time coming back up towards the highway, all that mud dictated which way the steering was going to go.. this way he got lucky he didn't go straight back onto the highway and instead continued to the left in a circle... holy guacamole!!

Glad your okay. This has never happened to me but i used to struggle with severe anxiety when I drove. It has gotten much better over the years because I changed things that I could control. No drinking, eating healthy, and working out were some of the big things I changed. Though the anxiety has not completely left and probably never will, I do feel a whole lot better when I drive. It makes me happy that your okay and your comfortable talking about your crash on camera. God bless you.
Always remember it’s best to drive calm, but alert. Severe anxiety can actually hurt your driving ability. I drive for a living and have to self medicate to avoid panic attacks.

@False Flag I don’t see how it’s a massive danger stopping safely on the edge of the highway up ahead and then in the likelihood that the car cuts out you can then go and offer assistance before EMS arrive?
"The symptoms I experienced were nausea, tunnel vision, ringing ears and severe dizziness." hmmm... i experienced all of these except for ringing ears once after "mountain biking" in a nearby state park with a decent sized hill. it was slight nausea, extreme tunnel vision to the point where i literally couldnt see anything, my vision went absolutely haywire, and slight dizziness. instead of ringing ears, my hearing just cut out, like, i didnt hear anything, no ringing, no other random sounds, just silence.
Lol, I had the same experience but my inner ear kinda blew out on me on both side at the same time, like hearing a gun shot. It was sharp, and everything else that you mentioned I experienced except passing out. I was mad as fuck at the time. Maybe blood pressure correlates with it?
This happened to me in classroom in high school during a punishment. I told my teacher and ask her if I should sit down cuz I thought I would fall off. She allowed me but thought it was my lie as a way out of punishment lol and she gave me snacks after.
I get this when im laying down or sitting in a weird position like head tilted or something, once i get up too quickly, i lose vision everything goes purple blueish and i feel like a head rush, like too much blood idk. Hearing lowers like when you yawn really hard. Goes away after 2-3 seconds.

Before my blackouts I get really nauseous too as well as dizzy, hot, and fatigued just overall get really sick suddenly. As soon as I feel off I sit on the floor or pull over. I don't ever drive anymore when I already feel sick. It's so scary. Glad you were/are okay and figured out what happened, they still don't know what causes mine aside from I suspect heat due to the lesions on my brain from Multiple Sclerosis possibly. Thank you for sharing your story and experience with these videos. Take care.
I had something happen to me that was a little bit similar: I wasn’t feeling so hot, but it was a work day so I was commuting out of town on the highway at ~70 mph. Then I noticed my vision was starting to go away, but in a way the opposite of tunnel vision? I was developing a black spot where I was looking, and my vision was becoming limited more and more to just the peripheral vision. In order to see what was ahead of me, I had to look to the sides. I didn’t feel “bad”, just a little bit queasy. Anyway before too long, I pulled off at a side road and found a place to safely shut off for a little while. What I did was I opened the windows for air, reclined the seat, and shut my eyes, and relaxed for a good 10 minutes. Eventually the feeling passed, my vision came mostly back, and I made it to work, where I thankfully was able to take some reprieve. Later on I recovered completely and never experienced that again for months. Then weeks later I had an optometrist appointment, and I asked the doctor about it. She took a close examination and concluded that I must have experienced a “retinal migraine,” which is apparently not too uncommon. I’ve never had a migraine headache before, so I had no knowledge of this. Essentially, like a bad migraine, what really needs to happen is exactly what I had done: find a quiet place to rest and close my eyes until I could recover. I’ve actually had this happen a couple more times since, and my reaction has been better and better. Now the moment I feel my vision starting to fade, even a tiny bit, I can stop what I’m doing and find a safe place to rest and recover. Now if this happens I can recover fully in just a few minutes. Thanks for sharing this video!
Had the exact same thing happen to me when I was a teenager, at school. A dozen or so episodes occurred in a 2 or 3 year span and ever since I haven't had any. Vision loss right in the center line of sight, then a short while later your vision comes back and you have a huge headache for the rest of the day. I'm quite thankful I haven't had any incidents, especially not while driving or working.
Same thing has happened to me, retinal migraine. It’s scary because you think you’re going blind. At first I thought my blood sugar was off, but it went away on its own thankfully.
I have "ocular migraines" caused by MSG. I loose my vision for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 3.5 hours. Not what this fellow when through, that is scary af.
You seem like a nice person, sorry this happened to you. Looks you turned this around and probably have done a lot of good by sharing this video. And you taught some medical professionals how this conditions manifests. Thanks!
How the F is he a "nice person" when he knows he has this disease and knowingly drives a vehicle putting everyone else on the road in lethal danger. That's the opposite of nice and he should never be allowed to drive ever again. He's sick and he knows this.
Another thing to consider is that you are so lucky that you were not on a road next to water, there is no way you would have gotten out in time if you went right into a lake or dam reservoir.
This is giving me hella anxiety seeing an actual experience like this. God bless you. And everyone else be safe on the roads guys. We take a chance everyday man
You’ve enlightened me to symptoms of low blood pressure that I’ve ignored for awhile now… I’ve had two instances in my life from either getting up too fast or falling down too fast, and I had what I thought were seizures. The first time it happened was I stood up too fast and didn’t go to the hospital, but the second time I went because that was the fall, and I was actually with a friend when it happened and they drove me. I thought I had hit my head on the fall down and that’s what caused it. I don’t have the best insurance so I didn’t get many tests done besides a single catscan. They told me it was “heat syncope” that made me seize up, and to this day that answer never felt correct. And I think I may need to speak to my doctor about blood pressure issues because it draws a lot of parallels with your issue. I’m glad you’re in good health now and that the wreck wasn’t the end of you, you seem like a very intelligent and cool man.
Wow bro!!! You barely missed that telephone pole and your car totally could have got back on the free way going the wrong direction! I know you know but dang bro You are massively fortunate!!! Praise God you're ok. Your guardian angel grabbed the wheel and kept you from getting back on the freeway!!!
Glad you made it out and nobody was injured. Ive seen some crazy things happen when people just zonk out like that in cars. I was actually driving home from work one day when, all of a sudden, somebody in the on coming traffic lane just turned and drove into my lane, almost hitting me, then off the road. Person looked catatonic. I also know what its like when your blood sugar swings rapidly like that, I felt the same way.
My step dad has issues with his blood pressure dropping like that. The lowest I’ve ever seen his BP (both my mother and I are trained to take it) was 58/14. He no longer drives for that reason. I’m glad you’re okay! It’s definitely scary to see for an outsider, I couldn’t imagine experiencing it myself.
I'm surprised that he managed to recover from blood pressure that low. My mom was really sick once and had her pressure drop to 70/30. She was already in the hospital at the time (Covid, actually) and was immediately treated by nurses. They were hesitant to send her home for weeks because of her constant low blood pressure. Thank God that both our parents survived that!
@@amyk9813 it’s only normal when he’s sitting down. Physical exertion makes it drop, and fast. He is also a type 2 diabetic but it’s the kind that makes him super super skinny. When feeling that type of nausea from blood pressure dropping, need to lie down and raise legs above heart. So brain will keep getting flow till blood pressure comes back up.
Yeah my mom told me this, I guess low blood pressure runs in my family too. I literally can’t get out of bed too fast or I can pass out. I thought it was normal too until I watched this haha.
Normally in response to anxiety, the body has an adrenaline response. But sometimes in response to anxiety, the body will inappropriately lower the blood pressure instead (very rare). If someone has naturally low blood pressure to begin with, this can make them loose consciousness.

Those run outs are designed to do exactly what it did in the video.

Neo leaving the matrix while driving.

Glad to see you active and alive still.

I’m glad you’re okay! It’s definitely scary to see for an outsider, I couldn’t imagine experiencing it myself.
Is it ever at a normal level or always low? If you don't mind me asking of course
I'm surprised that he managed to recover from blood pressure that low. My mom was really sick once and had her pressure drop to 70/30.
