Huh! I have honestly never seen one in the states and was surprised to learn that A&W originated in California. I also learned that the Canadian A&W restaurants operate separately from the American ones. It was the first quick service hamburger restaurant in Canada and today is the second largest hamburger restaurant in Canada. I just assumed it was a Canadian restaurant and I bet a lot of other Canadians do too.
Such a badass vehicle, the thumbnail alone is impressive. I‘ve never been on a „real“ road trip (what I mean is that the driving is the adventure, not what comes after that, maybe multiple stops or with motorcycles), so that has always been on my bucket list. However we did drive by car to almost every vacation I can remember and for me it‘s just a great way to travel. Sure there are traffic jams, road work and other delays but it just has a vibe to it that I wouldn‘t wanna miss. Anyways, thanks guys, what a great way to end the weekend for me. Until an hour ago I was in the darkroom making prints with a friend of mine for more than 5 hours, that was great, too ☺️
What a great way to start my day, a cup of tea, Becki and Chris. You two make me laugh every time. Did not know the Oru came in black. Love the look of that cabin.
Chris, your chip eating technique at 2:30 is spot on! Nothing vexes me more than watching people use more than two fingers to eat chips. And most flavor-coated side is always the side that should touch the tongue first. Thank you for using your reach to help bring about meaningful change in these divisive times.
OMG yes yes yes Coffee Crisp is the best Chocolate Bar, Becki gets a gold star ⭐ and 👍👍. Looked like a fun get away 😎 using the X34 Landspeeder instead of the Millennium Falcon 🤣
Yes that was a cool vacation vlog and happy Becky didn't have to fly the windy skies. One of my favorite things is to kayak but not downstream, I like to put some really good work into it.
Great good all vlog guys! One thing that we use when we go on road trips is block ice for the cooling box which is better that ice cubes as they dont defrost as quick. I would totally recommend it. Thank you for the video, love you guys!
Great vid. I recommend the Diamondback Truck Bed cover. Expensive but well worth it. you can also attach Yakima truck racks on top of truck bed cover as well. IMO, the best combination of modularity and security.
If you guys like a bit of a bite in your chicken salad I add a tsp - TB of curry powder or paste to mine. I also use a combination of mayo, sour cream and cream cheese...whatever is in the frig.
So nice that Becki let you drive her truck ❤️ Chicken salad sandwiches, yummy. On a croissant, so good! A&W, it’s like you are cheating on McDonald’s. 😬 There you got redeeming yourself hours later. That steak 🥩 ❤️ Yeah random rambling comment here, really enjoyed this vlog.
You can buy a secure lid for your Pickup to store all your junk, the car should be more economical, because the air flow isn’t get caught in the rear door.
good grapes do hit different. I miss chicken wraps from U.S. McDonalds. also a good casserole is its own reward. I wonder if they'll make a cooking vlog someday. their filming style in a kitchen would be most excellent. ( I watched bill and ted last night and I can't stop saying most excellent ) not that I'm assuming they know how to cook. but I feel like Becki could have amazing plating skills.
Great video! Thank you for taking us on your journey. I have always liked your editing style. Curious how you’re mic-ing? I don’t see a lavalier exposed on your clothes so perhaps a Rhode or DJI under your clothes?
this is such an epic video!! making me want one of those kayaks !! also kinda cool to see you drive down roads that i am familiar with as an ontario resident
"I've booked us massages" uh oh... We've heard how that went before 😂 for real though, love your vlogs and nice to see you guys genuinely loving the trip!
Check out the bakflip revolver for a tonneau. I’ve had the panel and the roll up and the roll up is way better. I always found myself flipping the cover with one hand because I refuse to take two trips in the house and rolling with one hand is easier than just letting the panels fall
I'm actually quite jealous you got the black Orus. They've been sold out forever, and I ended up getting the white one. Great trip! Thank you for sharing! Oh, please keep us posted with what tonneau cover you get for the truck!
Gotta add NUTS to the road trip food 🤣 .. Trust me !! Pistachios or Almonds are my favorite .. Healthy & yummy 🤤 Especially, glazed not as healthy but, yummy :)
Illegal to be this early! Currently on a 8hr sleeper bus trip to inner Vietnam (sapa) from Halong Bay and gonna be catching up on Becki and Chris vids! :)
Making this one reminded me of the Vancouver vlog days! Who’s been around since then?
Always love these little adventures :)
Binged pretty much the whole channel around the time y'all moved to Buffalo, vlogs have always been the absolute best
🙋🏽♀️loved those vlogs.
Good
I have!!!
Old school vlog vibes, I’m here for it! Glad you guys had a great trip!
You guys are literally couple goals 😊
I love the dedication to snacks, a road trip staple!
Snacks are the most important part of any trip!
@@BeckiandChris I also loved the kayaking footage! Great seeing how much fun y’all were having out there. Cheers!
This made my night, love seeing y’all explore and adventure together.
You guys are so cute my heart can’t handle it!
Best channel on RUclips. Renos & vlogs. Two awesome and unique characters. You guys are an insta-watch anytime a new one comes out. Let’s gooo!!!
🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you!!
Aw fun!!! Also I love how much focus is on lunches!!!
Also A&W is so American 😆 Ate it a ton growing up in Ohio.
So glad someone else caught that - I almost spit out my food I was so appalled at the thought of a USA without A&W

Yaaasssss I was expecting this😍
I feel like it’s been so long since a vlog! was nice to see as always 😊
What a great way to start my day, a cup of tea, Becki and Chris. You two make me laugh every time. Did not know the Oru came in black. Love the look of that cabin.
Aw thanks Marty! Yeah they are limited edition I think, they come out with them every so often!
Thank you so much for the love and fun experiences you give us the viewers to see. Can't wait for the next random vlog you guys. Blessings.
I always look forward to Sunday’s, and being able to watch your videos. You guys are amazing!! Keep it up!
Saw Mont Tremblant and clicked so fast, because home💕
Tonneau cover for the bed is absolutely clutch. Ours came with the truck and it makes it so much more usable.
Love those vlogs! Was nice to see some footage from my little part of the world! That kayak adventure is pretty awesome!

Three cheers for wholesome vlog content! 🙂
Chris’ chip eating technique is 100% spot on. It’s the only way.
Looks like an awesome trip guys!
Enjoyed watching your road trip adventure.
Coffee Crisp rules, A&W for the win! Toothbrush...finger. :D
6:32 totally down with the Coffee Crisp as the best choc bar ever! You can even make amazing ice cream with it.
Awesome! Next time you're there, check out the zip line from the summit - you get to take 5 of them in a series, all the way to the bottom! :)
Chris' chip technique is perfect!! I thought I was the only one who did that
10:15 looking like a squirrel mix beaver hybrid XD
OMG yes yes yes Coffee Crisp is the best Chocolate Bar, Becki gets a gold star ⭐ and 👍👍. Looked like a fun get away 😎 using the X34 Landspeeder instead of the Millennium Falcon 🤣
Wow, those Oru Kayaks look awesome
Oh yeah them grapes be slappingggg! Slightly frozen? ohhhh snap🤤🤤🤤
My go to for McDonald's snack/breakfast/ANYTIME: 3 Sausage McMuffins (no egg), 2 hashbrowns. Medium coffee and/or coke zero... Ok thanks guys!
Hashbrowns are a MUST! Imagine a sausage breakfast sandwich, no egg, but hashbrowns for buns?!
@@BeckiandChris So true. So true.
8:58 those are the life vests that I carry in the plane for water crossings
"Where are we staying tonight"
"Don't know"
☝🏻 enough for me to realize I would never be friends with Becki and Chris in real life
Hahaha I used to always need a plan until we started flying and ending up in random impromptu spots because of weather 😂
@@BeckiandChris With "due to weather" you mean slight breezes, right? 😅
ugh I wish there was cool cabins and AirBnb's like that around me!
Same! We have to go so far to find them, closest I’ve found is like 4h
Yes that was a cool vacation vlog and happy Becky didn't have to fly the windy skies. One of my favorite things is to kayak but not downstream, I like to put some really good work into it.
This made me feel like I’m hanging out with a couple a good ol’ buds. Thank you
Dorks. 💛
MATTE. BLACK. TRUCK. I always comment before watching.
Nice Canadian video
TEAM COFFEE CRISP!!!
watching this makes me feel to get out n explore.... thanks for the amazing content, appreciated.
I like how the string cheese was flipping him off UK style in case the US bird wasn't quite enough - cheese had its back!
Where we live those weeping trees mean hanging snakes and bees/hornets nest LOL
Liking before watching ❤️

Coffee Crisp….excellent snack
Sick Heli and now sick truck to compliment the epic trips
More roadtrips!
“Working hard to stay awake to watch shows” ❤️
Love, love, LOVED the ol' school vlog. Totes turrrrrrrgid 🥰
Great vid. I recommend the Diamondback Truck Bed cover. Expensive but well worth it. you can also attach Yakima truck racks on top of truck bed cover as well. IMO, the best combination of modularity and security.
a foldable kayak??!? wow that is soo nice
It IS a standard technique lol! Use it every time.
So cool! I’m from Montreal and it’s so cool to see me favorite creators go to places so familiar to me. Amazing video!
If you guys like a bit of a bite in your chicken salad I add a tsp - TB of curry powder or paste to mine. I also use a combination of mayo, sour cream and cream cheese...whatever is in the frig.
I think you guys passed me up !! Hi!!

That was mostly eating! 😁😇
A good B&C vlog usually is mostly eating 🤣
Canadian McDonalds IS better! Thank you for agreeing with me. Also, A&W is the best ❤ Loved this vlog!
I do the same with the chips, is not much time and is a better experience.
Wow 2 days for an 8 hour trip. Envy that kind of, I'm the type to push on. Usually I'll do 14 hrs or more myself
lol secret answer C - go buy a different toothbrush - since dentist actually doesnt reccomend this... lol ! I actually cant share w my hubs lol
Love a chill and relaxing video ☺️
Loved this. Thanks for the free laughs 🤣

We have A&W in Minnesota and Wisconsin!
this is such an epic video!!
making me want one of those kayaks !!

Wait...the ice cream machine in Canadian McDonalds works?! The ones in the U.S. are always broken lol
The best 🥰
"I've booked us massages" uh oh... We've heard how that went before 😂 for real though, love your vlogs and nice to see you guys genuinely loving the trip!
Hahahaha he picked a good one this time 😂
You all were gonna fly in the helicopter !
Two things.
One, can we go on a road trip together
Two, that last scene was epic
Stay fun 🤙
Pretty cool to see you guys drive through my city (Ottawa)! Great vlog!
A stop in Ottawa for a Beaver tail and hot chocolate! Well, next time and it’s on me! :)
Omg Bever tails are sooo good 🤤
After watching this I hate myself for having bought kayaks 8 mo ths ago and still haven't used them 😕
I get increasingly jealous every time I see those blacked out oru kayaks
They are so great! They’ve been really pushing us to get outside more
Yay
Solid on the lunch selection & shame on Chris on talking shit about Coffee Crisps!
Chris. Your hair is magical.
Love it

Yeah lucked into them over the winter! Great products! Thanks so much!
A&W. Reminds me of my hometown in Ohio. Big fan of that root beer

@@BeckiandChris the 69 joke was chuckled at! Definitely not unnoticed 😆
Those grapes probably came from USA 🇺🇸 😆 🤣 😂 😹
We definitely have an A&W in my town in America lol
Okay but the beardedgoat hoodie though... S-Tier company.
I have that spoon. I bought it at REI about fifteen years ago in a set.
It’s a great spoon! Love REI
This video convinced me to travel to Canada to try their Mickie d's ....
Their crispy chicken wraps are very nice!
When are you guys going to do more flying trip vids?
Got a bunch coming this fall!
Chris, you are correct. Peanut MM's. All day, er day.
I see an Uberleben Kessel. I've been following that brand for a while but don't have anything of theirs. Do you like it?
