    Yaay!! So glad to see you back on these YT plant 🪴 streets. 🤭 I found your channel when I bought my first Montera Adansonii. Your tips and your beautiful plants gave me inspiration! Now I have 3 propergations going strong! Hope to see more of your content. One question I just cut a family member’s monstera deliciosa to propagate, they didn’t have any fenestrations, will they still grow to have them? In other videos I’ve watched, they suggest you prune those leaves 🍃 with zero fenestrations 😮

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! Thank you for watching and commenting! Eventually the stem will keep growing and turn into fenestrations leaves…this was an excellent question and many viewers might not know that about monstera leaves…you can also take the small little baby plants in the bottom and plant them in another pot too and they will grow into a huge plant (takes a few years). I have those “little suckers “ in the bottom of my monstera as well…some recommend cutting them because they take more nutrients away from the bigger plant…. BUT, just fertilize and water regularly because they will grow into a regular plant with fenestrations in leaves.
      If you don’t like the look of them you can cut them…I’ve done also with my plant. I completely took one of my monstera to the base and put it outside… cut off all the foliage because it had a thrip infestation. It came back gorgeous! Should I do another video and talk about this topic?

      @@plantluxxe Thank you so much for answering my question!! It was very difficult to get a clear answer, you are the only person who answered it and explained it clear as day! I think this information will be great content. I’m sure I am not the only person who was not sure if the baby monstera cutting will grow into a mature fenestrated leave. 😐🫤

    I'm so glad to see you keep your Thai's in only moss. Do you also keep your adult ones in only moss? Like your gorgeous and tall one that is only green? I have so many plants in moss with just a little bark on the top surface. But do you keep your monsteras in moss outside in the summer? I like to put mine outside, but what do you do about rain? Do you keep it under cover in case of a deluge? Last summer I felt like I was constantly moving moss only plants under cover if it was supposed to rain. But I love growing them in moss.

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! I start in sphagnum moss but eventually transfer all my monstera to a chunky soil mixture after a few years. My momma plants are in soil. I do not remove the “birth sphagnum”…I don’t disturb the roots if they are healthy🌿❤️ thank you for watching and commenting!

      HI Dorothy! East facing should be good...mine is a south facing window, so it gets really hot there and that's why the leaves burned...I'm so happy you got one! LOVE them!! Thank you for commenting and watching. Let me know what you'd like to see next!

    Nothing on your website about fertilizer, you use to promote Jack's fertilizer in all your previous videos(which I purchased ALOT of) but now you say you don't promote " the blue fertilizers" so go to your website to see your formula you specifically made up and use now but can't find anything under the soil or fertilizer tab. What am I missing?

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! Thank you for commenting and reaching out. Sorry for any confusion…use the fertilizer that for you🥰🌿❤️ I still use blue fertilizers but to be transparent: I don’t promote them by name because I never received any compensation or comission from that company. It’s a long story 😂🌿 All the profits went to them or the affiliate selling their products, never to me. I promoted the brand anyways, then over time, I modified it and came up with something I liked more. Jacks is a great brand!
      If you’re interested, I still have fertilizer and would be happy to ship you some. Are you interested ? I am happy to post it on my website. Right now, I’m updating my website and plant inventory. It should be fully updated later this week. Thank you again for reaching out to me🌿❤️
