You're so cute, Jan 😹. Can assure you, no wrinkles visible 😊
This was super helpful. Actually came looking for a demo on adding a pole to my Thai, who is also currently crawling, and I was like 'eek, how is this going to work?'. Have decided to just move her forward in the pot and she can continue to crawl (heaps of space to do that). I'll detach her little secondary growth point at the front while I'm at it, and pop that one on a pole.
    Headbutts to Bradley 😊

☺Just finished a plant care day and I'm happy to see that you have a pretty similar approach with your plants: cleaning the mess right away, freaking out about leaves "in the way", overthinking about the planters, worrying about the cat getting lost outdoor (don't get me started with hating to take the thunmbanail for YT!). I felt seen and less of a weirdo :) Thank you Jan and congrats for the year anniversary 🤩Have fun with the new gears 🎉

I really like your videos! I often come here to scout out which plants I want to grow big, for example I don't really like the look of a manjula pathos when it's large because of the warped leaves. Most of my plants that I have tried to put on moss poles haven't sized up because the roots don't go into the pole even when I manage to keep it moist. Keep up the content! Also if you feel like it, carnivorous plants (especially Nepenthes) love the outdoor conditions in Sydney. My plants love it here in Parramatta and are throwing pitchers 20cm long and 10cm wide! I reccomend Nepenthes Ventricosa for easiness and Truncata or any of its hybrids for size.

Hey Jan huge congratulations on your year anniversary 🎉 you truly deserve every success 🎉 and the handsome Bradley too😍 Your MTC is gorgeous 😍 MTC is one of my all time favourites (along with PPP🙈 and P Strawberry Shake) and I finally bought one earlier this year (a baby one). It slowly lost 2 leaves, leaving 2 juvenile leaves behind - which scared me. Because of this plant I've become a chronic underwaterer🙈. It hasn't done anything further since, except that I've noticed the tip of an aerial root beginning to poke out of the surface at the side wall of the 3 inch pot. Apart from that, nothing. But I'm leaving it until it's bursting out of it's pot and will repot into a nice super chunky aroid mix like yours. Did you ever suffer any rotting with your MTC? Lucky you if you didn't, but if you did, what would you do to restore health to your plant?

Hi, I recently discovered your channel and you really make amazing content. I just became the proud owner of a Thai Constellation that has 9 leaves (the largest are about 30 cm in diameter and have secondary fenestrarion). I was considering to repot it in a couple of weeks with a moss pole, because next year I would like to propagate it and if there are roots formed in the moss pole, I think propagation will be more succesful. Do you think this would work for a Thai Constellation?
It was grown in a rather small pot, and the nodes are already quite far from what I can achieve with repotting it. I would need to put it ina way too large pot if I want the new node roots to go into soil. This is why I'd consider a moss pole instead.

Grab some white paint from the craft section of any cheap store (I donno what stores are in Australia) and just paint the black edge of the pot, that way you can still easily grab the plant to empty any standing water from the bottom and you will have a bit of a match!
I think that plant's next cover pot may be moving into a basket! Now that I have a few larger plants I realize that unless I want to spend 100 or so dollars on a decorative pot that I may just need to use the woven baskets with a saucer in them. I understand why that look became a thing over the last few years now as it's an inexpensive way to hide the ugly! LOL

Yay! Jan so happy for you that you splurged. The camera quality looks amazing! I never noticed any deficit before with your iPhone BUT I can definitely see the upgrade now. Congrats on all your accomplishments so far!
I did have a question: I really like your white light you have on the wall/ceiling next to the mirror. Can you share the details for this light? Brand, bulb, etc? I might want to buy one hehe. My plant room is unfortunately in a north room (USA) and the window is under a covered porch so I need lots of plant lights
