Pretty in Green rocks my socks! I purchased an albo node from them a year ago and now it’s a beautiful healthy plant with halfmoon AND marble on the same leaf. If you haven’t, buy their plants now!!
Your recent videos add a whole other layer to my plant collection. It's always about the story, and it's wonderful that you are giving us the details of the story. Really, good job!
i need more of these asap. been part of the plants community since 2020, i hear all the youtubers mention plants with dramatic back stories ALL THE TIME but you're the only one who explains them!
I'm finally fully immersed into my plant hobby and the drama is fuelling it on another level. Internet drama, investigations into corruption and plants, this combines so many of my interests. Keep it up ❤
💚“It begs the question, how can you win an award for Plant of the Year if the scale is not yet there, and you’re not yet an expert at growing this plant? And, you also weren’t the one to create it?” This says it all, and baffles me. Excellent research Chris. Very interesting history behind the cultivation, and spread of this plant. Can’t imagine calling it a “Cheesecake Monstera”!
This took my breath away! Had to watch several times! What would we do without you Chris. The information and knowledge you bring to the Plant community is unmeasurable. You are truly doing what you were meant to do. 🙂
The content of your newest videos is so fascinating! Your research to tell an complete and accurate story is top notch. Learning about these beauties and the drama that comes with them makes for must see videos! Thanks! I can’t wait for the next one!!
I know thai constellation has root rot issues, but i got one anyways as a TC recently. Its in perlite, orchid bark, pumice, and some regular soil, its even more free draining than what i mix for all my cactus. Once it matures enough to transplant from my dinky plastic cup, its also gonna be set in a terracotta planter to really add a preventative measure. So far ive got 1 new leaf with no problems, but only time will tell if it makes it.
When I first started researching this beauty I was introduced into the world of TC and the very specific conditions needed to produce these Thai starts. Thank you for such a detailed explanation and mini doc, it answered all my questions and more!
This was incredible. Thank you for putting it together. I love how the Thai Con is one of the most beautiful houseplants going, but at the same time, it's so ridiculously contentious about pretty much everything.
Your plant documentaries remind me of the documentaries I used to watch on the History channel. Back when they were less conspiracy theories and more real info. So captivating! Took me back to a sense of nostalgia! ❤
Such a good video! I joined the plant community around 2021, and didn't have the money to even consider buying one haha. A few months ago, I bought one from a local nusery for $100, and I love it!
I love the research done in this video of the tropical plants. This is a good show idea for a documentary series on a streaming site . Id definitely watch it!
These plant documentaries are everything! I totally forgot about the dramas and the truth about these crazy plants. Can’t wait for more thank you for these amazing videos.
HEY! CONGRATS! You won the Thai Con!!!! email us at hello@prettyingreen.com to set up shipping! (for those wondering, I used a random number generator between 1-26 for each letter of alphabet, first draw was 15 (o), second draw was 1 (a), and this username was closest to that!)
Im loving this the story of series its so hard to find good information on plants we know and love keep these videos coming they make me miss having plants a little bit less scince migrating 😅👌
Your videos help me out so much I appreciate your knowledge I have been wanting one of these plants forever and your video has only made me want this plant more thank you so much for all you do for the plant community
I love your guys' channel! Especially these new types of videos. I'm just a few years into my plant collection and would love to add a Thai constellation!
This is an interesting concept of a video. Never realized that plant drama could be this good. I respect the video hustle my dude! Hopefully more people could find your channel.
This is one of those channels where We can binge watch its content with so much pleasure! Love the structure of your documentaries. You have a lloyal subscriber over here 🤝🏻
VERY INTERESTING! 😱 I had absolutely no idea about about CF and this Thai Con ☕️ Thank you for such amazing content! I’ve been binge watching your channel for the last 24 hours! 😆😆
I really have enjoyed the plants we got from you! Waiting on a few more to come back in stock. Then we can plan another meet up. Great video, I learned a few new facts!!!
I loveee Thai Cons so much. They are gorgeous and I recently aquired a cutting with 4 big leaves for $80. It's story makes the plant even more interesting and special to me!
I bought a Monstera Albo from your Santa Barbara pop-up earlier this year and it’s growing like a weed! Multiple leaves with fenestrations and the variegation is holding strong
Recently returned to plant parenthood, and I am astounded by the drama present in the plant community. Also how does one decide the price of their plants? This is something I have been pondering.
I love your videos and appreciate the way you tell stories! Such suspense and mystery! Thank you for all the work you do to provide such valuable information. 💕
Great video and very well done! This plant was available in landscape nurseries in the 90s at the very least. Barry can be credited with the name, but the plant had already been here for many years.
Hello from Arkansas! Absolutely stellar research and production in bringing us so much interesting information about such a beloved plant. Thanks so much and keep up the amazing work!!!
Hiya! I’ve fallen DEEP into the monstera rabbit hole. I’m about 2.5 seconds away from buying a Thai Con and Albo. This was super interesting for a newbie like me
I don't know why the first time I saw/heard of a Monstera Thai Constellation was during the lockdown, and it was love at first sight ❤ (I live in theUK). So it was fascinating to hear all the background information about it. Great video, great channell🎉
Good video. I do have to point out people complain that something sells out fast because the info leaked, and then others complain when they didn't know Walmart was selling them. My local nursery has TC for $109. They have not been selling, 3 out of 12 in the past couple months. They are getting bigger though lol. Personally, I think the Albo is just a better looking plant, and cheaper!
i have been known to be heavy handed with watering....and my thai con has been thriving since 2016. i guess i got lucky to have a plant that seems to not be affected by my watering habits

It actually is such a gorgeous Plant. Nature really is the best Painter of us all.

Plants are my obsession and I absolutely love gaining knowledge so, great vid, you got a new sub. Be blessed, y'all!!😇🙏
Makes sense why the veriegation on Thai Consellation is stable. Cuz it's a natural mutation. Thank you so much for this video. Extremely enlightening.
Plenty of plants with natural mutations are unstable
@@howdy5025 Some say that propagation by tissue makes the result stable.
Thai Constellations are so beautiful! Instagram brought me here! So glad I found this page!
