The girls looked like they had such a good Christmas! Yes we are so grateful for how generous family can be! But it feels so overwhelming with presents everywhere!!
I TOTALLY understand how you feel! As soon as my kids opened their gifts and were busy playing I took down the tree haha my husband thought I was nuts but wow it felt so good!!!!
I was so ready to get my home back in order. Didn't we go straight from Halloween into Christmas? 😂 everything looks so clean and ready for the new year 🤍 I love the idea about a Christmas tree and am kicking myself for not doing more keepsake crafts with the kids when they were young. Your such a good mama Bree, I know the kids will love going back and looking at everything you've made when they are older ❤️❤️
Your lil girl is so cute!! That’s a great idea to bring all the decor in one spot and then put it in bins! I bought a light repair gun for our tree last year and it worked for the section that was out! Great video!!
Hi Bree! So nice to get things taken down and refreshed. I’ve actually never kept my Christmas cards, but my sister laminates hers so they last and then puts them together on a ring so that they can flip through them from previous years.
I'm the same way with putting all the Christmas decor together in one place, then sorting and organizing it into bins. It just makes sense in my head, haha. So happy to collab today!
I store my ornaments in clear ornament containers wrapped in tissue paper or bubble wrap! And I keep all the old Christmas cards in a box, but I saw a cool idea of punching a hole in the top and putting them on a binder ring to keep from year to year like a little book!
My girlfriend next door was taking everything down at 11:00 am on Christmas day - she was ready for it to be over. I'm sitting here enjoying all my decorations and plotting which ones are winter and can stay up. But I am truly ready to pack everything up at the end of this week 'cause there's nothing better than the incidental cleaning that comes with packing up everything and the beginning of the year.
We actually leave out a garbage bag (hidden behind the couch 🛋) during gift opening and all is disposed of or recycled for next year by the adults. We all help and then the rest of the day and days that follow it’s only the gifts themselves under the tree. We leave our tree up for the twelve days of Christmas 🎄 and then we take it down. As for the decorations, I have one stationary box for the engraved metals ones and the bubble wrap the other breakables. Right now we keep our cards in a box and label the year. I’ve been meaning to get them into albums but that hasn’t happened. 🤷🏽♀️ merry Christmas Bry!
I do that every year, I always leave something out, I even do something similar and set everything on my dining table and still miss things. I think I got everything this year though!
Idk if you follow Amy Darley but she shows how she stores her Christmas cards on like a large key ring and adds a cover with the year (like just a piece of cardstock). I keep our cards in a binder with picture protectors.
I tend to keep the photo cards we receive and put them into my decor bins. I need to find a better way to organize them, I like your idea of a box or binder. I keep all of our family cards in a small photo album so I can look back over the years and see all of the cards we have sent and how much our family has changed.
Omg yes! Madison had a mini Christmas tree in her room all year last year because I forgot to take it down hahah. I go room by room usually and carry my totes with me.
I have a box of old xmas cards but I realized I do not look at them. Due to keeping my house decluttered I now just keep them for the month of January and then chuck them. Sorry friends and family.
I have lots of questions today about how you store your christmas decor! How do you store your ornaments? How do you store your Christmas cards? HELP! xoxo

Hello Love! Yay I’m so excited you are taking your Christmas decor down!
Great video Bree! I store all of my ornaments in one big plastic bin. I wrap everything that’s fragile in bubble wrap or in it’s originally package.
Hey rach! Thanks for coming by! I do the same thing! Great minds ❤️
I TOTALLY understand how you feel! As soon as my kids opened their gifts and were busy playing I took down the tree haha my husband thought I was nuts but wow it felt so good!!!!
It really does feel so good! I feel like I can relax!
You decor was so beauty though! I just absolutely loved it!

We are soooo similar!

I totally agree! I love the decorations and if I could leave the tree up and change it each season I would. But I need the space! Lol

Thank you for sharing! My husband is in charge of the paper garbage bag haha! I love that you leave up your tree and how to keep your cards❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I too felt bad taking down my tree at first, but it felt good to have a clean slate going into the new year.
I do that every year, I always leave something out, I even do something similar and set everything on my dining table and still miss things. I think I got everything this year though!
Hahaha honestly same! Mom brain
Before we begin, I have to tell you I love your pants! So cute! And your daughter's Elsa jammies!
You are so sweet! Pants are old aerie💋
Is that one of those super soft fancy leopard blankets? I'm in loooove! I received a leopard weighted blanket for Christmas and I love it!
Haha it is! They are my favorite

That’s what my southern friends do too! Lol

Haha totally been there! Especially with Valentine’s Day decor lol
I also like to see everything in one place and than put it away at once.
Totallly the same!

We're redoing Madison's room for her birthday and doing all princess themed! For her party we're doing elephants and bananas haha
She is going to love that!!! I also love the elephant theme and who doesn’t love bananas!?
I was legit just going to ask if you wanted to collab on a video like this hahahha love it!
Let’s collab! You know I love you and miss you!
As if we need to see more people freaking out about masks and social distancing. Definitely not a card I'd be keeping lol
Haha very true! But it was cute and it for sure is a year to remember! Lol
@@BryannahKay hah some may disagree. I would be happier if I didn't have to remember this year at all
