"Headlight restoration $5,000.00"
...
Luke: Glad to see your back with your new format. Keep up the good work!!!!
Prices are never going to be the same in every area. 250$ where he lives doesn't mean you'll be able to charge that in your area...
true. people have to keep this in mind. but his advice still applies
so whats the lowest you think one should charge for cleaning a small suv 100 seems reasonable so does all his add on i wouldn't do that job cheaper anywhere in fact I might price it higher in some areas
He's in TN. Their prices are low compared to other places.
@@kblazindetailing9846 For me there's a lot of factors in pricing. I usually tell customers 3 different price points of good, better, best, but every job, for me, is custom. Some people say "It's not that bad" and then it's absolutely disgusting, and others say "it's really bad" and then I feel like I'm a swiss watch maker looking over everything with a magnifier. Also, sometimes the inside looks pristine but exterior looks okay. So I judge it based on: size, expectations, conditon, if it's full service or only interior or exterior, etc. A large SUV, with a really bad outside condition, but needing very little on the inside, but they want a full service job, I'm probably charging somewhere between the mid to upper price point. A 2 door coupe that has been garage kept and only wants interior, I'm probably charging the lower end price point.
Thanks for the tips Luke and that little honda came out mint
Love this video. I know you guys / professional detailers her to make money. But I love you pushing the whole point of add-ons, extra stuff to create value. That's what I'm doing with just starting doing Vehicles. Just those little things like under the door handle, trim Etc. Things that don't take much time but can really stand out. Cheers
Thanks i really want you to know that your videos are my absolute favor and you inspire me. I started my own business 2 months ago and its been a blessing getting tips from you
Wow! Fantastic transformation!
My basic foam cannon was doing something similar. I simply backed out the adjustment screw and re-tightened it. You may possibly need to pick up another orifice for it as well.
I love this concept...
That's a nice CR-V!
Great tips ‼️‼️
Great vid. Checked out that mobile app from your referral. Wow that was unexpected, that subscription price is very unaffordable for 99% of detailers.
I want to use the RX app one day, but starting out I don’t have confidence in myself yet since I’m just starting out to charge that much. But maybe after I have a lot of car details under my belt I will switch over to that. Thanks for the info!
Great video Luke! What is the longevity on the trim restoration product?
Questions about the headlight kit. Im curious as the ceramic wears down, do the sanding marks reappear? just how long does it last?
Thank you
If I charged that people would say no thanks, great video
This is a daily driver for a non enthusiast owner. 50 is doable.
Try to sell a 25 restore to a luxury car owner he'll say it's too cheap and say no for the opposite reasons.
Brian from apex looks up the price of a replacement Headlight and charges half the price.
Every customer and budget is different in different towns.
The price also doesn't factor the fact he didn't have to break out a drill or polisher, pads, compounds, which all require cleaning afterwards cutting into his profit for time.
He charged 50 but also added value doing the handle scratch removal for free.
Part of the upsell is not just flashing the 50 price tag. You have to work the customer, adding a feeling of return on investment for the lady. He restored AND added a coating. He restored the trim AND coated it for long haul.
She may not understand coatings ceramics but Wilson can sleep knowing this lady will have clear headlights and deep black trim and she's going to come back and tell all her friends.
Good for him. Personality is always appreciated and he seems like a well meaning young man doing honest hard work. You portray like a sleasy salesmam slapping 50 charges here and there you won't get a buy.
Have you tried p&s wheel and tire cleaner, it's an awesome product that I only use...
Just a note on the scratches under the door handles, be sure to follow up with a good vigorous hand polish with at least a medium compound. The magic eraser is a abrasive and will dull the finish, also the scratches themselves have only been cleaned in this process, not removed. As soon as they are dirty again the scratches will reappear. A good hand polish will not take long, and will actually bring down the scratches more permanently.
is there an app similar to this that I can use to display costs for each service?
Great video content. You need to be quick on the headlights as the Cerakote headlight restoration is $25.
On that the trim restorer, product life expectancy? Thx
What is the dilution ratio on the degreaser?
A starting price you recommend for headlight restoration add-on service ??
That was a real good job. Maybe the reaction of the owner would be a plus in the end...???
What do you have in the spray bottle when you were doing the headlights?
So I live in midland Texas where the water coming out of the water hose is not clean water , can I still just wash the vehicle at home with my power wash or I do need to spot free water my car so is better taking it to a car wash?
Luke, You have to factor in the $25.00 for the restoration kit cost. Net profit: $25.00. Great vid.
Most kits can be used multiple times so he probably makes more than just $25 per headlight restoration
@@gavinfeldtman1505 I believe that was a single use item.
magic eraser gem is great. thanks.
Do you have any options on SC1 ?
What platform for the app do you use?
Did you make your own app? When you first started did you get a LLC? Did you wait until you had clients?
Makes sence how long does the seracoat black trim last for??? And what should I charge for a detail like that without the add ons??Ps I'm using your links to get supplies
What psi are you using the pressure washer at?
Uhm that crv is in impeccable shape for the age !
First time here! Is Charles Barkley actually one of your clients?
Did cerakote sponsor the products ?
0:54 & 10:20 Magic Eraser gets rid of those???? Man! That's been bugging me about my own car for ages!! Thanks for the tip
what app are you using to do pricing that's where I'm stuck at how to actually price out my car washes because what I do to my own black car isn't necessarily what I would do to a clients car

Early #early squad
When you make as much promoting an app as you do detailing cars 😂
What if customer says he/she didn't want the add ons after you've done them without asking the client.
Do you not clay the car as part of the actual detail? That and sealing the vehicle, imo, is what separates a detail from a car wash, right?
What software/app are you using for your business? You showed it in the video, but I didn't catch what it is. Thank you.
Mobile tech app
Whats up with your website? Theres nothing in the product section anymore. :(
I see you use your customers water and pressure washer. How does most of your clients feel about this. I'm curious to know your approach or pitch. Thank you. Car looked great and that oxidation restoration👌🏾 hope to get a feedback. Thanks again.
J Moreira that’s his house lol
I've never had an issue using customer water supply, though some don't have access to it. For those that don't, they have to bring the vehicle to me.
Hi! I got my car detailed the other day specifically to get most of the smoke smell out of my car, and unfortunately it still smelled as bad as it did before I dropped it off, is there anything I can do to get it out?
You can use a ozone machine or a cheaper method would be use pool tabs like in this video
m.ruclips.net/video/XdCVi9Fpk5E/видео.html
Sydney! You can use some Charcoal under your seats. Or Baking Soda. There is a Smoke smell killer at like Home Depot or Lowe's. Just ask someone there to show you where it is. I hope this helps you out. I just started Detailing. Last year. I ran into this when a customer bought a car that was smoked in. Shawn
Make sure the cabin air filter is changed right before you get the smoke removal process done.
I see you do most of the cars at your house...I know most people rather have u come to them I know u charge a travel fee..But what do you say to get the customer to come too you
Great video Luke! Always got respect for you homie be on the lookout for my channel dropping soon!!! SALUTE!!!🔝🇺🇸🙋🏾♂️👊🏾
11:09 dude drink some water lol
Do you have cottonmouth ? 😂
Lmfaoooo
Charles Barkley?
Not sure If this was done on purpose but you left the ladies email address and phone number and part of her home address in the video

Don’t see why anyone would pay $250 for that type of car to be detailed they must be crazy
His prices are a bit wild, you wouldn’t even get £100 for that here ireland
Jeyo McNugget this guy is a complete rip off merchant though he’s going to be selling drill brushes for crazy money even though they cost like €3
Sorry clicked disliked button twice by accident.. I LIKE your videos and think your really knowledgeable in car detailing.
im not so confortable with this because i feel like its how to charge the more when you do the less
right.. he doesn’t even scrub the tires 😂😂😂
I understand what you are saying, but what would have been fair I bet with drive time he has at least 3 hours in this That puts him at 75 an hour. Then you take his material I think each kit was apx 20 so that takes him to 60 ish then wear and tear on rags, pressure washers, brushes, and all his chemicals. If he is lucky he is making 55 an hour. Which sounds like a tone of money... but he wouldn’t have been near that without the up sale. Did he lie on the up sale no. He actually, from my limited experience, put on two of the most durable products he could on the car. Instead of applying simply a sealant to headlights or chem guys vrp both would have looked as good for a month then faded... new headlights for cheap ones are like 50-150 and cheap ones often time get water in them and the .5 for mechanic to install or 1 hour book rate so that puts you at 100 to 250 so he could do this minimum 2 times and she will have a better looking headlights for less. I work construction and people constantly think you can do something so fast and it only take an extra five minutes when life rarely works out that way. Anyways not meant to be combative I just don’t see him skimping on the install. Using subpar proroducts
I was looking T tire did the need scrubbed? The looked good to me I did see som white stuff(suds camera artifacts)on them I’m not sure what that was though really. But if scrubbing fixes that. Then I totally agree he should have If not a good overall.
Nick Kettle in my area this is an expensive detail, at least scrub the tires it’s never clean with just a pressure washer and chemicals applied and rinsed.
Adrian Juarez the extra 4 minutes it takes or so to do a light scrub is probably worth it to clean the tires. I can see that.
Scratches behind the doorhandles , aren't from nails, wedding and engement rings are the culprit.
That soap to wash the car doesn't yield alot of suds at all. It sucks.
at some point with more suds. you reach a point of diminishing returns... so having a maximum amount of suds is not necessary to make a good wash
This is about 200 pounds sterling, i would only be paying this if i knew nothing about detailing and maybe i was looking to sell the car !! in my town, paying someone to do this, maybe 100 pounds (125 dollars) that's what id be happy paying not knowing what i know.......
