Great video. I am by no means a new shooter, as a matter of fact I have been carrying my concealed revolver, yes revolver, for about 28 years now. I agree, you were right about shooters wanting dots, etc. nowadays. New shooters like them but for many older shooters the dots help out the aging eyes. I only used my first red dot on a rifle about a year or so ago and now have them on several firearms. One thing I have noticed is that a lot of new shooters do not shoot well with iron sights. That's a problem if their battery goes out or their dots get damaged in real world situations. Everyone should be proficient with iron sights and then enjoy red dots and other optics. As of today I switched over my EDC to a optics ready Hellcat. I wanted something small, reliable and optics ready. I originally wanted the P365 but they only offer optics ready in the X and XL models. Those both are a little bigger in size. I'm very happy with the Hellcat. That compensator looks great and seems to do a good job, but it, along with the longer barrel does add a lot of length to a sub compact gun. QVO TACTICAL
I don't think it's ugly at all
I now have a Hellcat RDP to sell that my husband bought me. I was insistent upon the Hex Wasp because that is the only way I understood the gun to be made when it was released earlier this year. I watched videos on it and had been waiting for a long time to get a Hellcat. Once I saw the RDP, of course I had to have that one. Unfortunately, neither my husband nor the seller on Gbroker seemed to be aware that every RDP did not come with a Wasp. Very disappointed. We went back on GBroker and bought the version I wanted. Haven't made it to the range, but looking forward to firing this gem. Also, I saw that Springfield came out with 15 round mags about a week or so ago, so I bought two.
