- To firstly clarify.. this video is NOT an AD.. I bought this mop through my own choice as I have wanted to try a mop like this for some time now and therefore thought I would create a review for those who are thinking about a similar purchase!

I have one of these I’ve had it 3 years. It doesn’t leave circles on my floor but my tiles aren’t as reflective :) good to see you liked it x
We live in a one bed apartment, small kitchen and bathroom with washable floors so I don't really need anything like this but I'm nosey lol. You did a great review Kerrie and I'm sure anyone thinking of buying the powerglide mop will be able to make a more informed decision. xx

Hi Kerry from a previous video I saw in your washing room that you have a Dyson hand held hoover. I am thinking of buying a battery one here in Spain and wondered if they were good. Any hints or tips? Thank you x PS I enjoyed this video and the new sofas!
What tiles are those? They look so nice. Great video 👍
Robot vacuum keeps floors clean, or long handled dustpan and brush, then good old fashioned mop and squeeze bucket, very hot water and teeny drop of detergent or cleaner, change water rinse out bucket few times. Then this is great in between. Use dry spray mop to buff up after. Basically with a mop and squeeze bucket and figure of eight swaying side to side motion and cleanish water, floor should dry without streaks. Think this device great for inbetween maintenance though.
Do you have a robovac? I'd definitely recommend one to do your downstairs every evening after everyone has gone to bed.

This mop looks great! Are your tiles Matt? They look like porcelain Matt tiles and I find a manual spray mop sticks and doesn’t glide. This circular mob looks like a great alternative. Can you confirm the type of tiles? Huge thanks.
Wondering if this item works well for commercial cleaning floors. More precise, all type of hard floors?.

Thanks for the review, it was very interesting and informative. Our house is mainly tiled too, so at the moment I'm using the Vax steam mop, this was bought on a deal with the vacuum cleaner and carpet cleaner, £599
So I think £220 for the item you are demonstrating is reasonable price 🙂

Hi Kerry have you come across the mopping head for the dyson? I don't have one but was thinking about purchasing one! They cost roughly the same as a replacement head. X
I was curious about those too, but read that they damage/break the dyson as it’s not designed to suck up water. And, because it’s not an official Dyson product, any damage wouldn’t be covered by a warranty. Decided it wasn’t worth the risk.

I managed to get one from Aldi online for £179. It's good but I expected the scrubbers to rotate faster almost like an electric toothbrush! They rotate quite slowly which makes Mopping a bit slower than I'd like. Other than that I love it
Yes it does make mopping slower I agree.. but it definitely does a great job on the floors :) did you get the powerglide in Aldi? That’s amazing.. I love finding products like that down the middle island of Aldi :) xxx

The Aldi model is the PowerGlide City - it’s smaller and lighter than the original PowerGlide. Hope this helps! 🖤
I have one of these but I’m not impressed, I’ve been using it for a few weeks and decided to use my Vileda manual mop and was shocked at how dirty my floors were, even though I had been using this product
oh that's so interesting.. to be honest, I also use my Vileda mop more often as its much more convenient to whip out and quickly mop the floors with! xxx

Thank you very much for your advice.Two things you are doing wrong.1 Washing your pads at 60 degrees(They should be washed at 30
2 You wash your pads with your towels.Microfiber cloths must not be washed with any other fabric only other Microfiber cloths.
Also do not use fabric softener.They best liquid is Fairly liquitabs.
ohh I didn't know that about the two tips.. thank you.. ive been washing them wrong all this time so hopefully now my floor will look even nicer using this machine :) xxx
@KerryWhelpdale yes Kerry microfiber cloths become ineffective when washed with other fabrics.

@@rosaleenking9117 True but a dyson can be used on carpet and hard floors and has attachments to use up high etc. Think I'll stick to the spray mop Kerry recommended a few weeks ago.
@@housewife1543 If you have a dyson, they now have a head for washing, it costs the same as a vacuum head, it might be an alternative, I've been thinking of getting one for a while and then I'm put off again when I think if I wasn't so lazy to change the tank on my robovac, I wouldn't need it as that washes very well indeed 🤣🤣
