How would you compare the cleaning procedure of Bissell crosswave vs this FC7? I mean, in the case of wet and dry vacuum cleaners, the dirt flows through the vacuum cleaner back to the dirty water tank on the top. It might make the whole vacuum cleaner smellier than this one.
Not optimal i´d say. Hair can wrap itself around the rollers and then jam it altogether. You have to check it once in a while and get rid of any hair which may have been stuck there. (for instance with scissors)
Because of the specificities of the rollers (the part in the middle), you have to use only one side to clean stuff such as sauces, eggs or mud. This prevents them from getting stuck in the middle and leaving marks. That was you mistake.
Hi any recommendation or suggestion if I wan to replace my Karcher SC4 steam mop with something easier and cordless but meet up with the cleaning efficiency of SC4? Do FC7 do that or any other?
Hmm sadly we didnt review any cordless steam mops yet. :( The FC7 is a hard floor cleaner. Its different than a steam cleaner. Personally I think a wet and dry vaccuum cleaner would be closer to that. Like Tineco S3 or Bissel Crosswave. But they also work corded and without steam. They can vaccum and use water to clean the floor instead.
Hm well yeah, thats true. Most parts are made of some kind of plastic. I wouldn´t necessarily complain about that though. In the end the appliance does a good job and stayed in good shape until now. Guess we have to check if time will leave its marks

Any idea how it does with per hair?

You will probably need to send in for servicing every half a year due to hair jamming issue
Can you suggest an alternative to the detergent provided with this machine, it’s a small bottle and rather expensive to keep ordering from Karcher?
There are quite a few options to pick from. Just go for a non-foaming floor cleaner. Thats it.

Thanks for your comment!
Sure thats helpful/can be a workaround but we still think the design itself could have been a bit more "suitable" though.

Ok thanks for the answer 😊
Most complaints about this machine are related to its reliability, as all gears and moving parts are made of plastic.
