So my pads are clean again, going to go over the floor a second time and see if I can get it clean for real! Oh, one other thing, if you have any pain in your wrist or hands, this is not the mop for you. My left wrist just starts screaming when I use it.
Do you spray SHOUT degreaser to the pads before washing them in the washer? So the machine doesn't suck up the dirty water into the tank, all the tank does is store the water and chemical before you spray the mixture on the floor to be cleaned? One of my wheels stops spinning when the machine is upright, but both work when I lay the machine down. Is it because my pad is dirty? I swapped it out. This is my second spin wave. Same thing happened to my last one.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Im really considering buying this product and following your cleaning method.
I think you could, and you could buy some kind of polish or sealant to apply to the floors at the end. I would just be careful not to get the floors too wet when cleaning them.
My floors don't have sealant on them but I have to use some kind of liquid on them to clean them. At least I can dry them quickly afterwards. The fact it's light is a big selling point.
Please understand the polishing step is optional. If you want to get the soap residue off the floor, and reduce the appearance of leftover marks, I recommend rinsing and drying the floors.
Do they sell more abrasive pads than the ones you own. I can’t seem to find any that will fit this model. I need something more abrasive that will actually scrub the gunk off.

I replaced the pads two different pads make sure they were placed properly but as soon as you turn them onto the floor they won’t spin. I’ve only had it six weeks. Any advice? It’s like the motor Isn’t working properly.
I recommend buying a rubber broom and sweeping and vacuuming before washing the floor. I have 5 cats so I get the hair issue. It's a little extra work but it makes mopping easier.
Doesn’t say on the bottle that it needs rinsing. I wash and that’s it, with 2 dogs I’d spend my whole day washing rinsing etc. Just plug in and use one set of pads. I’d never buy it if I thought I’d have to use it this way.
Rinsing is optional, but i do it because it's an effective way to get the leftover soap/chemicals off the floor. I don't want to be walking around barefoot on chemicals after I clean. Also, If you get the soapy residue off the floor, the floors will stay cleaner longer afterward, saving you work down the road. Thanks for watching Iris!
You put waaaaay too much cleaner, and shaking with presumably not cold water is why it was squirting out of the tank. You can just turn it upside down, right side up and it will mix.
6:05 so this doesn't actually "clean", you're just rubbing soy sauce onto the rest of your floors. No thanks. I might try the Kärcher line instead, it actually collects the grime.

It's out for delivery today and I'm really excited. I have a family of 5 and a dog so every one dirties the floors faster than I can clean them. This is going to be a game changer.
??? Why are you surprised that Bissell made this product? There is actually a lot of modern technology in this device, even though it does not have a LED display and cordless feature. It that your complaint?
I’ve worked in restaurants and cleaned my home since I was a child and NEVER have I heard of rinsing a floor after mopping. That’s not usual. I don’t know where you got that idea, but it’s very unnecessary unless you used way too much soap and can feel it under your feet. This machine does not clean well so I can see why you are doing so many steps.
Try having a more open mind. Just because you have never heard of it, does not mean that it has never existed. in my opinion, it does make sense to mop the floor with a rinse to get up any leftover residue. Although mopping is different than washing your clothes, in the washing machine, there is a rinse cycle to remove the residual soap.
I think rinsing is super smart. My floors show my foot prints and my puppies foot prints even after dry. Maybe product build up or the wrong product because this issue is new. Maybe I ruined the floors. I ordered this machine. I will do everything he does but the last step. If you use a product like that on Luxury Vinyl plank then a professional company will never touch them. I imagine he has engineered hardwood.

Just got mine today, it made quick work of old blueberry juice stain, I though would never mop up. Of course this is not a mop. lol
Does anything come off while pulling the pads off?
No, but they can hold quite a lot of water and get pretty wet.
Will this damage original hardwood flooring?
I dont think so. It doesnt put down much liquid, and the washable pads are soft, like a towel.
Great review thanks
YUP ITS IN MY CART NOW HAHA
Can you use it for a rug ?
Sadly, no. The pads are made to work with hard flooring only. It would bog down and stop working on rugs.
Links to the pads that you bought?
I added a link to the pads in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Can you use any solution or does it have to be bissel?
I think you could use any solution, as long as it's made for hard flooring, and diluted correctly.
The beep is super annoying
Does has steam on it?
No. This machine is made for scrubbing and washing the floors.
Don’t waste your money
my liquid supply quit spraying
I would use this mop with the Bono solution
Bono leaves a build up on floors! I hate it.
I love mine but help! It just stopped spinning today on hardwood floors wet. It spins when I don’t have it on the floor but if the floor is wet it will not spin. I replaced the pads two different pads make sure they were placed properly but as soon as you turn them onto the floor they won’t spin. I’ve only had it six weeks. Any advice? It’s like the motor Isn’t working properly.
Oh no! I would contact Bissell, as the vacuum will still be under warranty.
I have labs not sure this will be good me way to much work
Hair sticks to everything
I recommend buying a rubber broom and sweeping and vacuuming before washing the floor. I have 5 cats so I get the hair issue. It's a little extra work but it makes mopping easier.
India prices
Doesn’t say on the bottle that it needs rinsing. I wash and that’s it, with 2 dogs I’d spend my whole day washing rinsing etc. Just plug in and use one set of pads. I’d never buy it if I thought I’d have to use it this way.
Rinsing is optional, but i do it because it's an effective way to get the leftover soap/chemicals off the floor. I don't want to be walking around barefoot on chemicals after I clean. Also, If you get the soapy residue off the floor, the floors will stay cleaner longer afterward, saving you work down the road. Thanks for watching Iris!
nice video, i may get one
Thanks, Rocket Dingdong! If you go for it, I think you'll like it!
Don’t waste your money
I feel like this would just spread around the dirt and not clean
It's all about swapping out the pads and cleaning in stages. It gets the floors very clean if you use the method I did.

Geezz...i like the idea...but That's too many steps...!! Not quick and easy
Exactly I tired it does nothing.... maybe a mop and bucket would work better I give it a 2 out of 10 stars amd my tile isn’t even dirty.
This video is identical to another video I saw by a woman in another channel. Literally identical. Even the rooms and floors are identical.
Hmmm. Are you saying she used my footage, or it was shot similar?
@@VacTech1 I just watched the video again. I noticed she had some wood flooring that was white. It's just eerily similar. So never mind lol.
Btw this is a great video and sold me on the spinwave. It's out for delivery today and I'm really excited. I have a family of 5 and a dog so every one dirties the floors faster than I can clean them. This is going to be a game changer.
@@kirstenmorrissette5052 glad to hear it! I hope you like yours.
??? Why are you surprised that Bissell made this product? There is actually a lot of modern technology in this device, even though it does not have a LED display and cordless feature. It that your complaint?
A lot of dirt on that rinse cycle.
Indeed. Rinsing the floors to get the soap and dirty water up makes a huge difference! Thanks for watching, Getz!
I used it tonight... my tiles isn’t even that clean. Don’t waste your money
