    Review: • 2022 Sunday Darkwave R...
    Best Price: bit.ly/3rGBok3
    If your riding style is defined as "absolute beast mode", then the Sunday 2022 Darkwave Authentic BMX Bike is for you. As Broc Raiford's signature model this build is compiled of entirely aftermarket parts meant to provide the most durable and capable ride around. Components such as the Darkwave frame and forks, Odyssey wheelset, Thunderbolt cranks, and even down to the Broc tires will keep riding where others would disintegrate. The Odyssey Clutch V2 Freecoaster makes fakies easier than ever and if grinding is in your bag, the included hub guards will keep parts safe. If ever there was a signature pro model bike worthy of its namesake, this is it. Broc Raiford's Darkwave Authentic is the pinnacle of complete bikes.
    Fly Orion
    Review: dougsterbob.com/product-revie...
    Best Price: www.flybikes.com/product/2021...
    Our bike with transition and trail riders in mind. We took Sergio Layos and Josh Dove as inspiration to build a bike that even they could ride straight out of the box. The Orion comes equipped with the full range of Ruben Alcantara signature parts, including the new Ruben 2 Grips. For 2021, the Orion comes in a new Flat Metallic Green colorway, along with a Flat Black option with polished hubs, seat post, and stem that will catch your eye.
    Wethepeople Revolver
    Review: • 2021 Wethepeople Revol...
    Best Price: bit.ly/3N1aPxZ
    The We The People Revolver BMX Bike is designed to be the best at everything, whether it's in the streets, flowing through the trails, or shredding at the skate park. Every component utilized in the creation of this bike is top of the line creating something that a pro could rip on with confidence. The WTP 4130 Sanko Revolver frame, Storm post liquid heat-treated butted Sanko forks, and the Logic 3-piece 48-spline cranks provide a foundation that sets the tone for the rest of the build- absolutely killer. We The People Logic double wall rims laced to the Eclat Pulse hubset offer not only extremely durable, smooth rolling, but also the opportunity to make the bike perfect for your needs. The Eclat Pulse cassette comes set up out of the box in a right hand drive configuration and features the ability to be converted to left hand drive without needing to purchase any other parts. This allows you to help prevent damage to the drivetrain while running the included Eclat Pulse hub guards and Dura pegs. Without a doubt, WTP has hit the mark with the 2021 Revolver.

    Great presentation again, Doug. Good to see you're mentioning 1-piece steerer tubes on forks and if the rims are pinned or welded. I'd suggest doing that every time a fork or rim is mentioned; is it 1 or 2-piece, pinned or flash-welded? Just my 2 cents :)

    Absolutely in love with your channel and the knowledge you are providing. I’m 37 and looking to get back to BMX after almost 15 years of not having one. I’m 5’4 and I’ve been looking for a good street bike with a free coaster to get back at it. I have a budget of around $1000 but I cannot for the sake of me find a bike with a top tube of between 20” and 20.5” as you advise. For that size top tube I can only find bikes of up to $400 max… any help would be appreciated.

    hey love you stuff, but how can the revolver be a "10" for trails when it has short chainstays ,a steepish head angle and not the right "trails" brake placement on the lower stay?

    Hmmm this list is made of Street and transition bikes.. How about for Fly we go with the Motosierra. Sunday maybe Wavelength complete. & If WTP Revolver is probably best. My #1 Frame would be S&M Black Magic. Must have brakes on Trail/DJ Bikes.

    Just Curious about your thoughts on Stolen Brand bikes. I personally ride a 2022 Stolen heist with a few upgrades like alloy wellgo pedals, 25/9 seatpost, odyessey brake pads,...and I love it. The build quality is really nice and it handles great on jumps (dirt or park). I went after this for the 21" top tube length, Chromoly tubing on most if not all of the bike with guessets, accepts bigger tires, all sealed bearings (minus pedals), double wall rims, and fiction aftermarket parts sprinkled in. I have never seen you review this bike or any Stolen bike for that matter. I was surprised to see you mention a Fly bike on here as it seems you mostly just pick from Kink, Sunday, or We the people bikes. I know you ride some of these bikes but how many have you actually had the chance to ride before making these lists? Spec sheets don't always show the whole story and i have seen some higher priced bikes that didn't seem worth double the price of my bike. Anyways I'm enjoying your videos and listening to your opinions on these bikes.

      @@dc_5sauce Yea, the Heist is a pretty decent model. I think most models under the Heist feature Hi-Ten steel and that is where the extra weight comes from.

    sick bikes but just wondering as someone who rides a dirt jump bike on dirt and a bmx on park, why ride a bmx instead of a dedicated jump bike?(other than being used to bmx geometry obviously)

    • @Dougsterbob
      @Dougsterbob  2 года назад +1

      Hmm this is a fun question. I’d ride a dirt jumper if I had the money to have both. I imagine lots of people don’t. Also switching between bikes and geometries for me throws me off and takes a bit to get used to each time I’m on the other bike. Good question though. Something to think about for sure

    What's your opinion on the Subrosa MR2?

    • @kirkwickham3336
      @kirkwickham3336 2 года назад

      Comes in a good range of toptube lengths, features butted Chromoly tubing, a wishbone, has stable geometry and looks fantastic in its Satin Translucent Orange colourway. It's a tweak on the proven MR1 frame so I think you could buy with confidence if the geometry suits your riding style.
