I love how you got your hands on a bolter to make this video. Very well executed! Although I wouldn't mind seeing how you actually shoot a bolter. I imagine they would be fun at a range.
I dunno man. If we are talking 'lore accurate', that would be a .75 caliber rocket-assisted shell. That would be about like firing a 20mm cannon from the hip!
casualties should be removed only from visible models. excess wounds should modify battleshock tests, but models that are not visible from the shooting unit should not be removed as casualties. this is one house rule that imho is necessary for this edition.
10:00 So you cant stack modifiers for more than +1 But what if you get several modifiera, plus AND minus? Heavy weapon (+1) , Cover (-1), the Sisters ability to get +1 if your unit has been wounded . What then? +1 or 0
Though I haven't found an exact example for this in the rules, if it hasn't changed from the last edition then you would end up shooting with a +1 in your example
I've got a question. If I have a unit of 10 models, with 5 of them completely obscured by terrain and the other 5 visible. Could an enemy unit, with multiple different guns, keep shooting all of its weapons after taking out the 5 that are visible? Basically, if my unit is now completely obscured by cover after the 5 visible models are destroyed and no enemy can see my unit anymore, can the enemy continue to shoot my unit after declaring all of its shots on my unit? Even though it can no longer see my unit anymore.
Yes, it could keep taking out that unit! And if you'd like to read the paragraph that specifies that, you can find it in the Core Rules, pg 20, paragraph 3. 😊👍

One way to "stack" to hits is if any bonuses effect the ballistic skill which is not counted as a modifier.
