    Mmmm no info on how attached leaders affect saving throws. I’m seeing a ton of confusion on other videos that say that if a character is attached to a weaker unit, they get the weaker units save characteristic which sounds insane.

      You use the toughness of the bodyguard unit.

      @@starlord157 No you resolve all the attacks that would potentially kill the bodyguard unit, then you start allocating to the character using their characteristics.

    So, can you just not shoot at all if you’ve moved during the movement phase?

    • @ArtofWar40k

      You can move and shoot. If you advance you need the assault keyword to shoot

    Thanks fo a great vid! One thing is bothering me: are enemy models from enemy unit blocking line of sight to models from other enemy unit that is behind them? Or are the first unit granting this second one benefit of cover because its not wholly visible?

    • @NecronomiconProject
      @NecronomiconProject 5 месяцев назад

      The only part that matters is whether any part of the target is visible to the attacking model. They are allowed to ignore other models in their own unit when determining LOS.

  • @xXpinhead
    @xXpinhead Год назад

    What happens when you shoot at a unit with a character attached, you over killnthe unit, does the character start making its saves? What about its higher toughness and how that effects the wound roll of then unit?

    • @lo9070
      @lo9070 Год назад

      You take the toughness of the unit, not the hero. And you keep allowiing the attacks but now the hero is a solo unit so you use his stats now.

  • @MrPompey21
    @MrPompey21 Год назад

    So if I make an attack on a unit and after picking some models off and then the remaining units are not visible can I keep shooting that unit?

    • @ArtofWar40k
      @ArtofWar40k  Год назад +1

      You finish resolving that attack sequence that you started. So if you have 5 lascannons and one heavy bolter from one unit shooting at 6 enemy models. If you resolve the lascannons first and they kill 5 of 6 enemy models and the only remaining model is now out of line of sight you still resolve the heavy bolter. But any of your other units that want to shoot at the one model would have to draw LOS

  • @jacobromero1300

    Do the rules mention anything about other models "obstructing" others line of sight. Say for example one of my tanks shoot at an enemy tank across the field. But a friendly/enemy unit is in the middle of my line of sight. Am I -1 to hit?😊

      @@Bblackout1 it's actually not a stupid reply, bruh.
      The tactical implications are fine. You can't just expect you're big beasts to be nice and safe by going from combat to combat. On the flip side they can use ranged weapons also. It's a pretty fair deal and I'm sorry if you can't use your brain to work a solution out to this.
