Dude, I have googled and watched every video there is. But you finally showed me what I was actually asking. I had my first successful stream thanks to you! So thank you!!
Thank you a million times! This helped so much! I will also mention for anyone using this set up to record a video conferencing meeting (like in Google Meets) you will need to change the 'speakers' device in Google Meet (and probably in Zoom or other softwares as well). I was getting internal recording using RUclips but unable to get them in Google Meets. Changing this worked!
Thanks for the detailed video! I was able to fix my "desktop audio" using Blackhole but for some weird reason I couldn't hear the audio on my headphones. I was using Blackhole 16 ch, but thanks to your comment to someone in the chat. I was able to resolve it by using the Blackhole 2ch! Thanks again and hello 👋🏼 from Houston!
Hey my dude, your're a life saver! I have been looking for a solution like this for a long time, to the point I gave up and only did audio recordings on PC using Voicemeter. And that tip on the compressor, cash money! keep doing what you do
Really great video. I watched an older tutorial that used a similar program but saw that it became a paid service. Was glad I found this video before I gave up.
Thank You!!! Not gonna lie I was starting to think getting audio from my mac to be picked up while recording was going to cost me $$...The video was easy to follow and worked exactly as I needed it to. Thank you again!
Hey man, Thank you so much, it's actually incredible right now just how good my setup sounds thanks to your tutorial. I was almost going to give up and get a pc because I was having so many problems with the audio. U DA BEST!!!
Is the audio from your screen recording of good quality? ? I'm trying to screen record videos from Facebook and get the same quality from the original source
This video is perfect 👍 for me. I've watched a lot of others, but this video tells you all details how to record your zoom conference by OBS on your Mac so you can set it up perfectly. Thank you 😊 ❣️
Great explanation of how this works. I've been hit and miss with audio from youtube clips and remote guests through restream. It's embarrassing when you have a guest scheduled and you can bring in the video but then you can't hear them, they can't hear you, or the stream doesn't pick up the audio. I'm running audio through a Rodecaster Pro with Sterling Sp150SMK Condenser Mics, video through a Canon T7 with cohost in studio, or my M1 Mac webcam if I'm solo, it's confusing for technological ignoramus such as myself. You have a new subscriber. This really helped me understand how this all works. Trying to host and produce a livestream is much more difficult than people think. Before I started this endeavor, I thought I'd just push a button and the thing would take care of itself...102 episodes in and I'm learning more by the day, so info like this is invaluable to me. Thanks again, brother!
OMG, Tysm a massive help I have literally been trying to fix this for a month and you just did, omg litteral life saver, I was going to quite streaming because of this problem but you helped me, I cant even thank you enough. The problem I had was I selected the 16ch and for some reason that made my computer break I just had to follow your steps exactly, TYSM :)
Hi Tario, I have followed your instructions however, when I record something, and then I changed the settings from the Sound to be "Internal Audio for OBS > Aggregated Device", it seems to be causing the video NOT to play at all from RUclips. I wonder why.
Very helpful thank you! Used this method to finally get my Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones to work as an output AND input (mic) with OBS on Mac. Can now record screen with audio, and use my headphone mic. Thanks!
Thanks a lot man. I was having issues with recording some backing tracks in OBS and your blackhole tip helped. Very much appreciated. You've earned my Sub, like and review.🤘🏽
Thank you, sir. This appears to be working for me now. The first time I tried it on my Macbook Pro (2021), it started slowing my computer down. I think it's working OK now (fingers crossed).
This was absolutely what I needed to capture the System Sound I was trying to capture. Thanks! and I definitely subscribed to your Channel And Hit the like button!
I'm using OBS with Bitwig DAW & Audient iD14 & one mic channel. Your settings work fine after the MacOS got used to using a Multi-Output Device. I had to reset the input source a few times but it seems pretty stable now. Blackhole is the key.
Thanks bud! I teach music lessons on line and have been using the recorder in Skype to record lessons, but this is annoying to do because it cuts parts of the video off if the webcam is in a horizontal position. This will allow my students to see everything needed when reviewing lesson footage and they can finally hear themselves!
Hello Tario, thank you for the amazing tutorial! This is the best one I've seen on RUclips. I follow your suggestion step by step, and successfully record the desktop audio (if I am playing a RUclips video) and my own voice (using a external mic). But if the desktop audio is not from RUclips, but from a discord channel, the desktop audio does not work (I mean no sound is captured) - the only audio I can hear is my own. I do role play with people on discord every day, so this is extremely important for me. I appreciate if you can help me solve this problem. I am willing to pay for it. Thanks again!
I would like to say thank you so much for what you showed on this video because I needed so much help with this I am new to apple with Mac mini m1. I have always used windows pc and I love my Apple Mac even more with people showing the way to do things with apple . I am a world of tanks player. so thank you again.
Thank you so much for this video. It really helped a lot. But I still have a question. How can I change the volume that I hear while still recording in OBS? After changing to the multi-output device in the MacBook settings I‘m unable to change the volume. I have to change back to my MacBook speakers to change the volume and then change back to the multi-output device. That works, but is there any simpler way? Thanks in advance.
Beyond helpful thank you so much for this tutorial I was trying to do it with white box but you need to pay for a subscription for that one to work with black hole you don’t have to pay at all for it to capture game and my mic audio

Hi Tario, I have followed your instructions however, when I record something, and then I changed the settings from the Sound to be "Internal Audio for OBS > Aggregated Device", it seems to be causing the video NOT to play at all from RUclips. I wonder why.
I followed the tutorial perfectly and the same happened for me.
I can hear the sound while recording but after recording, the video has no audio. :(
Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm having a similar issue.
Tario Sultan, you have one of my dream jobs, to be a RUclipsr, and your subscriber count is so inspiring. Thank you for being a role model in my life.
Very helpful thank you! Used this method to finally get my Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones to work as an output AND input (mic) with OBS on Mac. Can now record screen with audio, and use my headphone mic. Thanks!
