At least 14 injured in multi-vehicle crash involving bus in South L.A.

At least 14 people were injured after a multi-vehicle collision involving a Metro bus in South Los Angeles Thursday. The crash happened on the 3500 block of West 39th Street in Leimert Park at around 3:40 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Sky5 video of the scene showed at least four passenger vehicles involved in the crash - a minivan with a heavily damaged driver's side, one overturned SUV, a sedan with major front-end damage, and a cargo van.

The bus was trying to merge and one of the vehicles tried a speed up to beat it. It obviously didn’t….I see this so many times. Metro don’t care about no one and when you add reckless speeders it’s just a recipe for disaster

It was not the bus drivers fault.... a drunk/intoxicated driver gray car (1:58) heading south bound on Crenshaw, he hit the BMW that's on its side, hit the silver van, smashing the silver van into the bus. The gray car that's crashed into the tree & gate caused the accident!

Looking at the damage and positioning of the bus at 3:25, it looks like the bus was just traveling in the number three lane and was hit near the front of the street side wheel well. I don't see how the bus driver did anything bad.
