This is awesome I love the fact that you made it all in one piece, I hate making something in different pieces and then having to stitch everything together this is a lot better at least for me. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I am so excited, before I started this I tried 6 different patterns and none were really what I wanted. I am using a Caron cotton cakes in blush and bloom, using a 4mm hook. I am only on the 7th row but had to stop and thank you I love it in the tiny flowers, it looks very feminimimim. And bonus it has pockets YAY! I am 75 with loads of health issues so I totally understand and hope you get some relief. Thank you so much. Loretta
Thank you so much!! ♥️
I'm in love... love your work didn't think I needed a cardigan living in Jamaica and all but it's freezing right now
This is one cute little cardi. Love it!! Soon as i am done with this one i must get the wool.
Very well explained and I've been searching you tube to find the best construction of how I want to construct my duster. Kudos to you.
That was great, thank you very much for sharing. It looks so snuggly. ❤
Wow I just love this!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Very creative way to constructing this! And very clean! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you !! ❤️
May be many crocheters should learn from you alot to be flexible with the designs that they make, after watching your video i didn't feel like going back to any of the cardigan videos that i watched from so long I'm making this cardigan, the real creativity is breaking the rules and making things flexible, thank you so much never watched such an easy tutorial so far, you are really amazing, you didn't have to say much coz the way you bended the rules and explained everything! Good job! Keep it up! God bless you dear!
Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it!♥️
I really love this pattern. Thanks Going to get my yarn tomorrow. Good luck with everything.
Hey Danielle. I’m so glad I came across this video. This cardigan is adorable. I will definitely make this. Thanks so much for sharing your talent. You’re adorable 😉
Very unique sweater. I have this yarn in aquamarine and I'm going to try it. Thank you for sharing and glad you have the instructions on your blog. It will be the first sweater I make.
❤️ OMG your 1st sweater !! that's so exciting ...you're gonna do great !!
Thank you for this tutorial, it got the cog wheels in my brains flowing, no matter how novice or advanced a person is, when we're creating something it will be different every time, even if you duplicate it, one will different from the next because you will perfect it from last time, plus it would be unique to the individual, I hope all is well with you, may God bless you and yours!!
❤️
Ohhh, I love this!! Its perfect!
This is the best texture of all time
I gotta say, listening to you was so much more enjoyable than listening to most tutorials. Most of the time it's very mechanical and boring but this was a pleasant change. :)

Thanks for the craft yarn council website.... And the tutorial too
I'm definitely try this as soon as I order some red heart yarn, can't find it in the Caribbean. u are super talented and I pray to god that you get your own crochet line. Keep doing you queen.
I keep hearing that yall don't get red heart yarn there & that's crazy to me smh ... & thank you so much i really appreciate that !!! ❤️❤️
Hi@ Kerry, where in the Caribbean are you from.I am from Barbados, there is a local craft store "Laurie Dash" they carry Red Heart.
@@Iszabel18 hi, I'm from Trinidad
You can use any 4 weight yarn. Actually you can use any yarn, but you would need to know how to adjust based on your measurements.
Can’t you order the Red Heart on line? It’s website is Yarnspirations (Red Heart switched to Yarnspiration). You can get Red Heart from Amazon or Walmart. As well as Michaels, Joann’s, my favorite, Herschnerrs. Theyre all in line and have great sales! Good luck!
I did 5his but as a crop jacket for an outfit wondering if i should put a hoodie on it
Hi I love your work and you make it look so easy. Just a quick question (and it’s probably really stupid). When I make my front panels don’t I need to leave a space for the neck? Or do I do it as you explained and just divide the foundation chain measurement by two for each front panel which means no neck hole?
I didn't really leave space for a neck hole because I was just creating as I was going , & also because the sedge stitch is so stretchy that I didn't feel the need to make one. I hope that helps.
Omg this is so cute . I have been looking for a crochet cardigan that looms just like that. I can't wait to try this out
Thank you !!
Beautiful
Thank you !!❤️
Hi I hope u are well I'm from England I think u did great with the video thank u love the cardigan I'm going to have a go at making it X😘
Hi 👋🏾... I lived in England for 5 years 😊 it’s amazing you’re all the way there & watch my videos 🥰 ... thank you so much & good luck on your cardigan!
I love this. I have a pattern just like this I never tried it I'll do yours first
❤️
What I like best about your design process it hat it gives a base you can build on and make adjustments on size and stitch. On and his sweater what do you can think about lining the pockets so they don't stretch out when you put things in?
Thank you so much!! and yes I think lining it would help a lot.
😍
You are so adorable and very talented. Keep doing your thing. I love your video's. God bless with the baby. I wish you well.
♥️
Absolutely amazing!!! I just completed this in purple with green trim but can't figure out how to upload a picture 😂🤣
That is awesome!
I am falling in love with your channel. I like your realness. You have a snoring dog and you have bad nail days and you get confused on your count ... It really makes me feel like I am crocheting with a friend. Please stay down to earth. I know there are sometimes people who will make comments complaining when things are not 100% perfect. If you get those, just ignore them please. I will pray for you to conceive and for you to get well also. Thank you, so much, for your videos.
Couldnt of said it better myself babe, its great the way she chats away and we get the normalness ( if thats a word lol ) of whats going on around her, your so right that its like crocheting with a friend, i much prefer down to earth crochet tutorials to other style ones.
I hope you feel better Danielle. Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Thank you so much !!!! & Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours as well ❤️
What is the stitch count? Love the tutorial!
you're definitely awesome and you sound too sw i will try this ooh yesss!!!!

I love it. Thanks for the detailed tutorial. I'm going to try it after I get some more yarn.

Thanx !!
Love how you constructed this!
Thanx sis ... & i love that fuzzy sweater you made can't wait to see the tutorial !!! ❤️❤️
another home run! I can't wait to make this!!
Thank you !! you're gonna love it ❤️
@@NaturallyDanielle I am having so much fun making this! Question, when you measure the back panel do you stretch it out and measure it or just as it is resting? I've noticed it is definately different lengths when stretched than not and i don't wasn't to make it too long, butt i want to get some coverage!! ♡♡♡ Thank you for all you do, many blessings!
I do stretch it a little bit to make sure it can fit the size I want ... so basically I can chain a chain long enough for it to measure 14 inches but if I stretch it then it will reach 16 inches ... that way I know it can fit a from 14-16 inches
I love this pattern how much yarn do I need I’m a small and I’m not good at figuring out how much? You are awesome
like 1 or 2 skeins
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
Is there a way to do this in a child size do you have any tips
I was just thinking to myself last night how much I like the with love yarn. Your designs are consistently top of the line. Thank you
It's really great yarn & super affordable... thank you i appreciate it !! ❤️
So is it multiples of 3? To get the skip one sc at the end. Its so cute!
Start with a chain in a multiple of three. In the second chain from the hook, do a HDC (half double crochet) and a DC (double crochet), skip two chains and in the next work a SC, HDC, DC. Skip two chains and repeat “SC, HDC, DC” into the next space. Repeat across to the end and there is one chain left. Do one SC and turn.
@@NaturallyDanielle Gotcha and thanks. I think its my new fav stitch.I've been trying it with all kinds of yarn from chunky 6 down to fingering. Just a couple rows but I kept messing up the last stitch. My book said multiple of 3 plus one but it didn't seem right. Thanks for answering my ? Can't wait to see what you make through the summer!
Hi! We do not get red heart yarn over here in india... can i use any worsted weight yarn instead?
yes ma'am ♥️
Are you gonna continue to make more garments to share on your channel??
I am trying to make this in Mandela and I need help with the sleeves somewhere I got lost please help! I have my back panel and front panels done
I love it casual style. I get intimidated with some teachers that have ridged rules.
This is adorable! I will have to try this pattern! 💗💗💗
Thank you ❤️ & you're gonna love it !!
Oh k thank u was not sure
Love this! Thank you ❤
First!!!! This cute friend!!!
Thanx boo !! ❤️
Love it!! Making me and my daughter one. Very worth the wait. Hahaha. Thank you for all your hard work
Thank you so much !! & you guy's are gonna look so cute ❤️❤️
Oh wow, this is beautiful! I might have to bench one of the cardigans I have planned and use the yarn for this instead (; I love it!
Thank you for your video tutorial, I would like to know how I can make the front panels wider, or how to increase the sedge stitch. Thank you
You make your foundation chain longer using the pattern multiple & idk how to increase the sedge stitch, you could try adding extra stitches to the areas you want to increase in.
@@NaturallyDanielle Thank you for your response, almost done, thank you for the pattern looking forward to wearing it.
Hi! I m fromIndia. Can U tell me what is the part u measure yourself to start with.?Imean to say is it the shoulder or the hip portion to measure?some sayhip portion nd some suggest shoulder measurement to take 1rst nd then accordingly foundation chains to take .Which is correvt?R shoulder nd hip measurements same.?How is the shoulder measured?plz reply me.
Hey 👋🏾... I use my cross back ( shoulder to shoulder ) measurement from this website...
www.craftyarncouncil.com/standards/woman-size
Hi. I can't find the size chart. How many inches should I chain for UK size 8 and short height? I'm only 4ft 11.
Que talla es su cardigan es mediana o large
Thank u this is awesome I love that u just talk about it & things keep being amazing
Thank you ❤️
Hi ! I hope you are feeling better. I needed to know if you have the measurements for 2x. or the pattern.
I don't have the Written pattern I forgot to write it along time ago, but you can take the shoulder to shoulder measurement for a size 2X and that's how you figure out how many chains to start with and then toy make it however long you want it to be.
www.craftyarncouncil.com/standards/woman-size
I'm trying mandala yarn
I just want to know why my work always having holes and what yarn you recommend
Hey 👋🏾... & idk why you have holes but maybe your tension needs to be tighter or maybe you should go down a hook size ... I used red heart with love yarn ... 3 skeins
Thanks love
I appreciate
Please subscribe to my RUclips channel too. I just started and I just made that off shoulder blouse from your tutorial
Thank you ❤️
how many skeins of yarn did you use?
3
Did you decrease for sleeves
No I just kept the same amount of stitches I started with ❤️
Harika
Can i make this with fingering yarn?
sure
Talented and so freaking cute! Don’t apologize for anything... you’re awesome❤️🧶
❤️❤️❤️ thank you !!
Hi how do you know how much space you need for the back of the neck?
measure it
