- How To Crochet A Cute Pullover Sweater- The Stony Shore Pullover By EvelynAndPeter!
This pullover is the sister design to The Stony Shore Cardigan! You can find both patterns free on my blog. I am working a size Small in this video but I offer sizes XS-5X on my blog. I recommend following along with the written pattern to make sure you are on track with your stitch/row counts for your size. This pullover is oversized! You do NOT need to size up to get this baggy fit. Pick your size according to your bust measurements via the size chart on my blog.

So excited for this pattern!!
Thank you for sharing this sweater pattern.
Awesome thanks
I love this sweater. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely make this sweater.
Very beautiful
Hi Rachel! I love this sweater!! The Stoney Shire cardigan turned out gorgeous!! Thank you for all you do on this channel!🧶❤️
I just did my first wearable with this pattern. So good ❤
Just finished crocheting this pullover! I didn't care to make a swatch before, so it did come out smaller than expected. I used weight 4 yarn and a 5mm hook for a size small. Idk, but it also looks cute cropped so I'm cool with it.
Thanks for the tutorial!
Finished it today and love it! Thanks for the visual tutorial. I also purchased the pattern on ravelry. ❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE THIS.
Hi I'm going to have a go!! AWESOME pattern
Thank you!
Hi there.
I made a beautiful green sweater.
Love the design. Thank you sooo much
You're welcome! I bet it's so pretty in green!
This is good ❤
Very cute. Looking for a sweater pattern. Thanks.
It's beautiful 😍 and these color🤍
I saw this on Instagram I'm so happy I found your channel! I love this, I'm afraid visual learner so thank you for this tutorial!
You're so welcome! thank you!! :)
Hey Rachel love the design and that Tape Measure… may I ask what company made that one?
Yea, I just ordered this kit today. I waited for a sale and today was 35% off
so glad you caught a sale for it!! :)
Could you make this 3/4 sleeves?
What about 2 or 3 colours in one jumper??
I’m in love with this. I’m not good at reading patterns so I was wondering if you you could tell me how many rolls to start with with a 3x
8 skeins or 1820 yards of yarn!
I made it long to wear with leggings It's stunning! Thank you very much❤
I should have done this as well. I found the finished product to be a bit short.
Purchased the pattern on Etsy. I’m doing size XL, and I’m finishing up row 2 (rs) and somehow after the 44 beads, I have 3 stitches remaining. Do I skip the 2 and then dc into the last? If I do that, I only end up with 89 stitches…unless I use the 3rd chain from the beginning as my 90…. Help
For size M how many stitches ?? Please
I'm curious about your success with the gauge: I can't make a 4x4 square with a 5 mm or even a 6 mm crochet hook... I'm stuck at 3x3 or slightly bigger, but not close to 4!
What would you suggest trying? I have the right yarn and would like very much to make this sweater!
I wish she would reply to this! I'm having the same problem! 😭
@@haleym8842
I'm sorry for you, and glad to know that I'm not alone!
I cannot find any way to come close to the gauge for this gorgeous project...
@@sobalamandra I just finished the ribbing for the bottom of the back panel following the stitch count for a size small, using a 6mm hook, and it's still 2 inches too short according to her measurements. I don't understand how she's achieving the gauge she used. I think I'm just going to follow the directions for a size or two up, and hope for the best... wish me luck!
@@haleym8842 Good luck!! And let me know if it turns out ok! I will wait for your feedback before trying it myself... ;)
@@sobalamandra So far I feel like I'm really having to just wing this pattern... 😂 Triple checked my stitch count but still ended up with an extra bead stitch, and now I'm 2 dc short. But whatever, I'm just going to keep going! Who knows what size this thing will be! 😅😂
Ciao, molto bello, vorrei sapere a che taglia corrisponde, sono italiana e non ho capito la misura italiana. Grazie💌
Has anyone tried this with size 3 yarn? Wondering how to adjust the pattern or if I even need to.
Did you end up using size 3 yarn? I’m considering using fingering weight!!
@@judithsavage7327 I ended up using size 4. It came out beautiful just a little short for me but I am busty. I made a size large. I am 5'2" size 8-10, but large chest.
How do you stop the piece from decreasing? I’m started over 3 times and at some point Everytime the piece is decreasing
Same issue with me.
Mine too 🥹 I might just add some stitches heheh
I had the same problem, but realized I was missing the last chain three stitch, so you might be missing it as well
Yeah, don’t forget the last stitch is the chain 3
Count as you go. Easy to miss stitch ten.😊
I really like your videos, too bad they are not subtitled in French. Good day🤗
You might be able to change it in your settings
@@gerrymontgomery7118 yes you can go to the settings on the top right-hand corner of the screen, click "playback speed", and then click "auto-translate" to French
Does anyone else’s pattern turn out crooked? I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but it ends up crooked
Can I use any kind of worsted weight yarn
yes, just be sure to check gauge!
@@EvelynAndPeterCrochet thank u
Can this be made with a 3 weight yarn using same stitch count for size?
I am wondering the same thing. Have you tried it? I mat just go for it and see how it comes out.
Has anybody made this into a vest? :)
I need to learn how to read a pattern better especially when there are no charts or pictures. I love this sweater so very much, but the are confusing parts here. I see that she may be a bit too busy to respond to questions here, so im stuck. 😢
Hi! Where are you stuck? If you email me at evelynandpetercrochet@gmail.com I can help!
I’m the same way with written patterns. If there isn’t a full video tutorial, I won’t buy a pattern. May I suggest Bag O Day’s crochet tutorials. All of her sweater patterns has a full video tutorial of the complete sweater, row by row. She has over 1,000 crochet tutorials on RUclips.
Love how I don’t get a response for days on any social media I send you.
