So I got so many dms all at once asking me to make this wrap sweater thingy .... there’s a pic in the video showing what I’m talking about... Anyway I made it the best way I could and I will definitely try it again as well just to make some adjustments, but I hope you guys can take something away from this video 🤗 bye y’all 👋🏾
* TOTAL LENGTH of my sweater was 5 feet long
* I chained 156 chains and 28 rows of hdc
* I chained 21 chains and single crocheted 7" (rows) for the sleeve

I think this is fantastic. Love it! I’m definitely going to make this. You only used someone else’s wrap top as inspiration, so I would personally claim this crochet pattern version as your own...it is yours, you did all the working out and making it, so it is your design. Lots of other people who have designed crochet patterns/tutorials take inspiration from looking at normal clothing then create their own version of it. You did good girl. X

I have a long list too, and now it's going to get longer. In hooked on crocheting . I have been doing it sence I was 8. So for 50 years. My mom still has the first granny square I made her at 8 years old.

Camexia crochet has amazing patterns for the sweater scarf . I just made my own based off their pattern. It's basically a rectangle in any stitch you like with sleeves added in the round on each end p.s. I love The way yours came out !
When I had seen this, I imagined someone that works at a desk alllll dayyyyy long getting a little chilly & needing something like this to keep the chill off. This is a much more stylish way to keep warm than using grannies cardi. Also, to keep the panel up, use a nice pin or clip. I def wouldn't be wearing this on its own. I would wear a cami under it at a minimum. Thanks for sharing this simple pattern with us all xx

And I follow you on social media I see what is going on and it breaks my heart that people are like that in the world. But to be honest girl if you were going to sell this pattern and not post it I would have bought it from you because your videos are the reason I started back crocheting after I gave up on myself! Your videos are the reason I have so much more passion and belief in myself. You have a right to be salty because people are shady and I don't know why people can't give credit where it's due. It’s not as straight forward as I thought it was going to be-I’m trying to follow a pattern which I have no idea if I’m reading it right or Not, lol, so I’m trying to wing it too. I’m way more of a visual learner. But, note that I’m watching your video, I think I may have to frog it and try it your way, especially doing it with the separate sleeves. I also love the idea of sewing it together into the desired design, because the front does look like it might open up. Anyway, thank you for sharing 😊

To make the sleeve and the body match up easier you could do the first and last stitch of the body in a sc too ♥
Did a great job. I did one with a hole for head then it wrapped x in back. But I used smaller needle and yarn felt like forever!!

This is so cute - when I was new to crochet - I tried making this - it suppose to literally wrap around you like a mini blanket and the sleeves are there to keep it from falling off. I followed the pattern from - Bag-o-day.
I've never seen anything like this until someone sent me the picture lol

I went through all 756 of Bag-o-days patterns & only found this - ruclips.net/video/9nMk_ObX0nE/видео.html. Was this the pattern that you are talking about??? Maybe I missed it? I just wanted to see Crystals version of it as well.
There's also an old pattern from Red Heart Yarns for the scarf with sleeves. Its a bit shorter but comes from the first generation of this particular design. Every creators version is a little different, keeps it interesting.
