Embrasser is an Intermediate level, lacy crochet pattern that can be worn in so many different ways, including as a bolero or shrug, a wrap top, a shawl or scarf, and more! In this video, I demonstrate how to crochet the 6-row repeating pattern and model all of the different ways you can style and wear this ingenious piece! You're going to love it!
Embrasser is shown here in our brand new, Limited Edition Signature Fingering. This yarn is a scrumptious blend of 30% Linen, 30% Mulberry Silk, and 40% Baby Alpaca. The linen fiber in each colorway is dyed in our signature aqua blue color, which ties all of the shades together, while the other fibers are dyed in complementary colors. 448 yd/410 m per skein.

The Embrasser bolero-style wrap can be made with approx. 1,500 - 1,725 yds, but larger sizes may require additional yarn depending on how you customize your piece. The sample shown here used 1,566 yds (1,432 m) total (4 skeins of Signature Fingering) and was made with the Collect Memories color.

I always gravitate to teals and purples so “Faith in the Journey” really speaks to me - oooo, that smoky teal blue - glorious! And I love how it plays with your signature aqua. But I’m also in love with “This Moment”…it’s unique and different…not quite silver, not quite blue - the photo of the mountains on the website is a perfect match. The rich purples and reds of “Dare to Live” and “Adventures” both play beautifully with the teal linen and are tugging at me too. As is the clear, bright turquoise of “Stores to Tell”. All just beautiful!

What a gorgeous yarn, it reminds me of one of the first high end yarns I ever used about 35 years ago, same blue. The yarn had some silk in it and linen. This looks just like it!
