The depth of the tone on top of the D18 isn't near deep enough to pass for being decades old, at least not in my experience. I have 15 yr old regular D18 and my top is a BEAUTIFULLLL dark honey color. Several folks have tried to buy it from me just because of that, but mine ain't for sale for love nor money.
