    I own both of these. I didn't know when I bought the 'natural' finish one - that it had these differences. It became apparent quickly. I now think of them as different guitars because, well, they are. Thanks for the demo. It's great to see and hear nylon string guitars finally becoming more viable for live gigs. I've been chasing this since the '70's!!

      After listening to umpteen reviews of the Cordoba Stage and settled with the Black Burst as the ebony fret board warmly resonates the notes.

      I possess several dreadnoughts. However I recently treated myself to an early Christmas present. I purchased a classical guitar. Not a Cordoba, but a Yamaha. It sounds and feels different. But I'm using my classical guitar all the time. It restored my love for playing.

    AMEN on the feedback! I have 3 electric nylons, Godin Multiac Mundial which is my favorite especially with the body percussion sensors and it cost the most. The same Cordoba Stage Cooper is holding and I love it and` the way it adds to my fingerpicking style. I also have an Ibanez FRH10N thats costs less than either I mentioned, and it plays great, but DOES have feedback issues and I miss having a volume or tone control on the Ibanez. I have minimized the feedback with with a TRS cable and with a passive hum destroyer from Behringer, but I love my Stage and Mundial.
    Great review AND THANKS FOR SHOWING SOME NYLON ELECTRICS!

    Suggestion : A comparison between the Yamaha SLG200NW (the one with the big neck) and this Cordoba stage traditional ? Specially their different sounds through the amps, electronics specs, etc. ? Thank you for the good content !

    I'd love seeing one of them in a traditional wood grain finish. I'm sure many other people would as well.

    Thanks for that presentation. I'm a rumba player and I'd like to buy a guitar which allows me to play without feedbacks. I think that i will buy this cordoba traditional.

    I own one of these. (In Garnet finish!). Very pleased with it. Concur all the pros. Biggest con: needs hard shell case. Gig bag is nice, but guitar needs protection if hauling it around.

      Hard case now available and I've bought one. It's a hard case but....well first it has a fragile vinyl covering which will scuff easily. It looks really swish and classy but its purpose is to protect the guitar, not shout "Steal me!" if left unattended. Maybe I'm being harsh, but for me a hard case is something a little more utilitarian. Also it's a very very snug fit. For me, 4 stars.

      The natural is warmer, ( think scooped mids ). The cedar/spruse makes a huge difference.

    Why is it that all guitars have to have a pickup...its really hard to find a true accoustic guitar these days wuthout a pick up

    • @johnwashburn3793

      I imagine that Cordoba has several models without electronics, as does Martin and most brands other than Taylor. These specific guitars are designed as electric and for a specific role.

      It is the classic piezo sound of an amplified acoustic guitar. It was intended for this purpose. There are other modes which are 100% acoustic.

    • @kangaroofoot
      @kangaroofoot 4 месяца назад

      @@johnwashburn3793When you say 100% acoustic, do you mean not electrified at all? Or like an electrified true acoustic sound?

    • @johnwashburn3793
      @johnwashburn3793 4 месяца назад +1

      @kangaroofoot I honestly do not remember. Most likely I was suggesting that there are pickups for acoustic guitars that sound very close to a mic'd guitar. Some people prefer the quack of the piezo. I prefer a guitar to sound as it does when not amplified at all, except louder when necessary.
