Well, I for one appreciate the banjo content fellers. Russ is such a monster picker.
He's great!
This is great! I am so happy for you Russ!
Love the sound of that banjo. Doesn't hurt to have Russ playing it too, lol.
miss Russ posting on the RUclipss, im sure its exhausting though lol If dude on left doesnt display the joy of music i dont know who does.
My friend had a 1935 Gibson RB-3 (?) Arch top 5 string banjo. I said had because he passed away a few years ago. That was the prettiest sounding banjo I've ever heard. Not only did it sound good, but it was also easier to play than my modern Gibson Earl Scruggs model. I know everyone seems to like the flat head, but you may recall Ralph Stanley played an Arch top.
Couldn’t imagine being a customer walking in on a performance like that!! Great… as always. Jeremy always looks happiest choppin’ a mandolin.
It all sounded good! That banjo is a keeper!
Very cool. It's a Bitsa. Bitsa this, bitsa that! Sounds great!👍👍
Soooooooo Good💜💜💜
Nice playing by you all. The Atkin sounded great as well. I enjoy these videos you folks post. Greetings from the UK and all the best for Christmas!
This is your best video by far! Great to see my buddy Russ!! 🪕🪕

My wife always says, "those old banjos stink" LOL
I love the stoke on the guitar player!
Good lord that thing has a voice
That Was The BEST Video EVER!!
Great video and superb picking. Thanks guys.
So satisfying! Thanks for sharing your "music family" with us. That's terrific! I love to hear you guys play, and what a great addition! Russ Carson!!!! That'll be a good memory to hang on to.
Now that's what I call top class classic picking by 3 top pickers and top instruments! 🤠
It genuinely makes me happy to see great players be able to acquire great instruments 🙂. Congratulations on a killer machine!
Fantastic viewing!! Great post chaps
He's put a lot of love into that banjo. What a wonderful machine. I really enjoyed this video. That was some fine picking.
I love seeing the joy on your faces!
glad to see Russ doing well since he hasn't been uploading and his main channel
A superb musical performance 10:15>. Well done gentlemen. 👍
Russ is an animal! You guys are amazing! I wish Russ would start posting on his channel again. I was smiling the whole time. Still am..
Awesome job thanks.👏👏👏
Great banjo story. I love it. Great playing by all three. I play banjo too, and I'm in awe of Russ's ability to play out front on a break, then bring it back down for background playing, all while playing with great time and fantastic tone. It surely isn't easy. This video is inspiring!
I enjoyed that!
posted for a friend: 10:15 is pickin' time...
too cool!!!!!
I don't know what a banjo is, but he sounded pretty good.
Holy smokes
You could drive railroad spikes with that banjo all day then pick it all night...
What song was that ???
Does that performance tune have a name or were you guys just doodlin' around? Anybody?
Sonny Osbornes " Jesse James "
Are you playing my D-37? That would be extra cool.
I might be the only banjo player that doesn’t tear his banjo apart. I’m a unicorn.
I don't believe so, this was actually film quite a while ago for the TV Show.
@@AcousticShoppe darn it. I obviously hadn’t read this before the live. It’s always cool to have a video of the guitar. Had a couple on my Eastman.
The inlays on the fretboard were "Snowflakes and Diamonds." I thought about contacting his wife to see if she would part with it but chose not to.
I CANT REALLY HEAR ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ANY OF THE BEST MAKERS ' BANJOS . THEY ALL SOUND GREAT . ANY GOOD BANJO IN THE HANDS OF ANY GREAT PLAYER WILL SOUND GREAT TO ME . I GUESS ALL THAT FOOLING AROUND WITH THE ALL THE PARTS THAT MAKE UP A BANJO IS THAT EVERY BANJO PLAYER IS STILL TRYING TO GET THE SOUND THAT EARL GOT .
