How’s this for an almighty German group test?! Mat’s got his hands on the BMW M5 CS, Audi RS6, Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid & the AMG GT 4-Door 63 S to find out which is the ultimate German performance car!
Let’s face it, when it comes to mighty machines like this, there’s only one place to start - the engines!
The Audi may be the least powerful car here, but it still packs a huge 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet to deliver 600hp & 800Nm of torque. It’s then followed by the BMW, which is equipped with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 which puts down 635hp & 750Nm of torque.
When it comes to torque though, the AMG dwarfs the BMW! It may ‘only’ have a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, but it can deliver 639hp and an awesome 900Nm of torque. And then finally we have the Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid. Thanks to an electric motor joining its 4-litre twin-turbo V8, it can deliver 700hp & 870Nm!

I’ve had an M5 and it’s hard to keep them running perfect through the years. Cant wait for an all electric version. A BMW “Plaid” would be amazing.

Matt the BMW actually claims 3.0s for the M5CS... The M5 Comp is the one with a claimed 3.3s to 60
Yeah and it does 2.75s 0-60 in good condition
It also has much more power than they claim it has, its been measured with upto 700hp

To be fair though, bmw is always conservative with their times and statistics. Like you will get the 3.3 on a bad day and it'll be like the slowest time you will get, and the 617 bhp is like we know for 100% that there are 617 horses in there but there are probably almost undoubtedly more in there.
Mat is the best car presenter out there, period. Been following him for at least 10 years and it’s just great to see him being so successful - well deserved!

I would go with the AMG, as it really has a nice interior, and the lowest fuel consumption. Also it looks the best in my opinion.

The problem with AMGs interior is that it looks really nice and premium.. until you start pressing some panels. Massive creaking unfortunately.

This was v fun review to watch. I know the channel is mainly about new cars but same format with some 2nd hand cars would be good. Special categories like v8, estates, towing cars, micro cars etc. cheers for keeping it fun and entertaining.

Man they knocked it out of the park with the M5 CS. Those subtle exterior changes like the hood just look fantastic. The racing seats in the back is the coolest thing ever
M5 has always been according to me, the best looking sports sedans. They hit the proportions just right. I hope the next generation don't end up looking ugly like the M3 and the new 2 series.

It’ll be the RS6 for me. It’s so much cheaper than the others (50K) and it just looks cooler. It’s also quite fast, might not be the fastest, but it’s definitely fast enough. It’s so also big and convenient!
It's all about preference and beauty is in the eye of the beholder but to me the Audi is bland. Quite a lot of their car designs are bland. You have a top of the range RS6 but no pumped up looks, no sculpted out air intakes, nothing. Just looks like a plain old estate
@@steviegee8413 For me it looks almost too modern and aggressive, still better than the competitors. Audi was famous for classic "plain" design, I don't know if nowaday Audis will look as classically good in decades as the old Audis now.

They were measured with 680-700 hp several times
It’s also a lot lighter than the others
Not only that but it's also lighter than the other cars at around 1.8 tons of empty weight compared to the 2+ tons of the other cars. Besides that, it's also the most expensive and least comfortable, bear that in mind.
Plus especially with 0-60mph times they always under advertise

The evolve would be on par with the M5 CS. Since this newest M5 is actually able to put down its power better then the one evolve tuned. 0-60 would be the same, and on the long run the evolve M5 would win.

Love my 2016 M6 Coupe. Tuned to 735 hp and 715 lb torque, man is it a fantastic ride. Huge fun factor!
I'm an admirer of the Porsche Panamera, & looked for a used/high mileage one on our price range, for about a year. We checked out Subaru Outbacks, Toyota's & Honda's but luckily found a brilliant 2017 BMW 3-series. Go bmw!

Considering the Audi costing nearly 50k£ less than the others it‘s doing so damn well against them. Except in terms of power. It definitely needs more power to compete against them. Especially against the M5 wich surely doesn’t have just 635 hp. More like 700

@@marvinmeyer8639 BMW has been underselling the amount of HP their cars put out for the latest generation. The new or rather current gen M3 is doing around 50-70 more HP than they claimed, sometimes even more. So I'd estimate the M5 CS at around 700 to 720 HP but it's also quite a bit lighter, making it easer to reach those times than the other cars.
Would still pick the RS6 any day of the week though, it's too beautiful for me but I need it in a different colour.

Picked them up this weekend. Their fire, but the shoestring has a yollowish tent so the strings doesn't match the swosh. I bought some white strings that matched better. The day I wore then I decided to put strings from my timberland in them. That was 🔥🔥🔥

When sub 4 secs 0-60 is just "awight" you know motoring has crossed the point of no return.
The Tesla Model S Plaid does 0-60mph in 2 sec.. So yeah, 3.5 sec is just "awright" these days for those type of cars..

lmfaoo the prices were literally on the screen for half a second, you have to pause it. Considering all the prices + performance the Audi RS6 is by far the best value for your money, the others are marginally faster and 0.5x more expensive. Also looks the best imo, i'd take the Audi any day.

Actually, it should be M8 Gran Coupé vs AMG GT 63s vs RS7 vs Panamera. Because they all share the coupé shape.
If it was actual Sedans it would have been the M5 CS vs E 63s vs Panamera and the RS6 since there is no sedan variant. However the Alpina B5 Touring vs E 63s Wagon vs RS6 vs Panamera Turbo S Sports Tourismo would have been the best option
@Yule Calma Abt is an aftermarket tuner, by that logic you could also take a Brabus instead of an AMG. Funnily enough both Brabus and Abt are prolific at turning good looking cars into hideous abominations.

If I had to choose: Mercedes
I would choose BMW but my dad has owned 3 of them and each of them had a lot of electronic issues. My dad had a 7 series (2018) but in 2020 we had too many issues so we switched to a S63. For now there are no problems at all and I honestly feel like the S63 is more comfortable then the 7 series.
Now that BMW M5 CS is a proper sports sedan. Love it. Best here by far.

Most exclusive, best looking and best performing of that group.
But one thing i dont understand is the audi is way cheaper then the others and is an avant so it wont be as sporty as a cs model

All great cars but personally I'll take the M5 CS. Sounds good. Looks good. Drives fun and sporty. Fast in drag. Best in braking. Bmw did really good with it 👍🏻

What we saw here : Audi being just a VAG, with all the lights :D Just normal VAG habitat. That CS is amazing, love it.
