@@long-d4ki said that but i prefere android 😂
@@pr1sma826yeah i agree ! Android is the king of smartphone i just want A17 on s24 ultra then its perfect
Now do the test again, but measure time spend charging during the course of a weeklong test, and include the oneplus 12.
I charge in downtime or overnight, so charging is meaningless. Although I carry a MagSafe battery pack I can slap on and get 4 hours extra SOT without needing to plug in!!!
@@andyH_England bs for some people like me charging is also as impoirtant as battery life. Oneplus is just a monster when it comes to that.
Never thought I would see the day of a galaxy having the same battery life as an Iphone
Android competes equally starting from SDGen2. Even S23U was pretty close to iphone 14PM. But wouldn't have mattered in regular usage.
It’s not the same…the iPhone battery is much smaller
@@cia4gent128 Its the same if they cant put a bigger battery in. You limited.
@@cia4gent128Does it really matter all that much if they're both performing nearly the same in real world usage?
And you still haven’t LMAO
Im genuinely curious how much better battery life on the s24 is when using the light performance profile
idk how Galaxy packs bigger battery, big vapour chamber, higher resolution camera, two telephoto lens, faster charging and a freaking s pen in the similar body and weight as iphone, its INSANE.
bro it doesn't matter, iPhone still lighter and better to hold, just accept it
The key is plastic inside the titanium
@@mrCastrinho_literally only 4% lighter, you won’t even notice the difference 🤦🏻♂️
@@mrCastrinho_No and definitely no. Having both you talking out of your poor ass. The Samsung feels way more premium and nice in the hands, but who cares, both have a case lol. Also consider Display resolution, I can assure you the iphone won't last anything like samsung on FHD+, which still looks way better than the Iphone 15 Pro Max because of the better matte display
@@mrCastrinho_ I'd like to know who is this Mr. No One! Must be a sheep!
It’ll be interesting to see if Apple eventually decides to update the battery size for the 16 series
I love the battery on my 15PM, go Samsung for catching up.
The fact the S24 Ultra was on QHD here and runs on android speaks volumes. I can see Android just passing IOS at some point, IOS doesn't improve, while Android does with Chipsets rivaling newer Consoles aleady...
@@Alexdbre a17 pro already can run console games. I doubt Android will ever surpass iOS because it isn’t optimised enough.
@@Alexdbreqhd has no battery life difference, if you ever owned a Samsung flagship try it, and no mobile chipset rivals consoles lmao I have a ps5 and my 13pm is nowhere near as good for gaming, either way consoles are just watered down PCs, even then the only phone as of now that can play actual modern console quality games decently is the iPhone 15 pros, where's death stranding or assassins creed on android?
@@KungFuWizardOfJesuscorrect, and optimisation costs a lot more money
@@KungFuWizardOfJesusyeah but iPhone doesn’t have a cooling system so i doubt it could run an AAA game for 10 mins without throttling. Why would they let their phones with poor heat management run a that intensive game? My 14 pro already gets so hot that burns my finger when i use it with signal data for 5 mins
So how mrwhosettheboss made that video ?
Waiting for 24 vs 16 test
That's crazy that you now have navigation buttons turned on
Oh over the years, he turns on navigation buttons for the battery test and navigation bar for the spread test for some strange reason
Crazy how you are just noticing thst he is always biased towards the iPhone 😂, he is an apple boy
Do you have any proof that having buttons depletes the battery faster? What is the problem?
@@jerryoti4077better to program for the machine

battery test has never been so intense before
Lets go phonebuff true test has arrived!
This video felt so long, both of these phones have amazing longevity when it comes to battery capacity.
You took my tweet personal
I love that 😅
Higher resolution and a brighter screen on the S24 Ultra. Super impressive efficiency from Samsung/Qualcomm
Can’t wait PhoneBuff doing rematch after S24 Ultra getting software update
Software updates can make battery life worse. The real battery life king IPhone 16 will soon be on the throne anyway.
Just Imagine redoing a test using the two phone's battery saving when at 15% and then Samsung's maximum battery saving at 10-5%. This is another story.
Samsung max battery saving doesn't let you do anything basically
@waldirbraz5621 Well yeah you have a point but it lets you choose the most needed apps to use and it still lets you use 4G Bluetooth and wifi so It has a use case scenario.
Nice video!
hi phonebuff,I'm interested to know whether you would like to make a battery test between light mode and standard mode in s24 ultra,bc there is only minimal difference in daily usage
How do I create the Standby button on the iPhone?
Did anyone else notice that he used the STANDARD 3 buttons navigation for this test but he changed it to the swipe gestures for the speed test?? I thought this guy was unbiased but I was proven wrong!
Speed test he used default settings. Battery test he used the quicker one. Doesn’t affect battery life.
@jujhaarsekhon9705 I know it doesn't affect battery life lol! My point is that he changed the speed test setting to the slower one! With the buttons you dont need to double swipe!
Dunno, why u so underrated man. You should be at 10 mil by now, for the content you have for us always.
God speed you brother.
& Oh! I love to write this always, that intro 🎶 😍😍 it's so captivating.
Iphone winning even after having such a significant battery difference and being 4-5 months old apple charges you for this unflashy premium experience today’s kids don’t understand but the old users know
man hats off … great job 🫡
I agree that a 2 minute difference is just a margin of error. That’s great to see both phones do so well this year
Was the Samsung Calibrated? Because I noticed a massive difference when I calibrated my battery. I legitimately get just shy of 34 hours on my 24 Ultra. The way I use it anyway. The other day I have RUclips videos playing in the background for about 3.5 hrs, also had maps going and was texting and surfing the internet, I still had 68% battery left after 9.5 hrs of use.
how do you calibrate it tho
I expected you to lowering S24U screen resolution to FHD+ to make it fair... Why no one pays attention to that when doing the battery tests.
what was the screen resolution of the Samsung when the test was carried out?
Dosent really matter I guess. There is a test from them " 1440p vs. 1080p Battery Test " and there was nearly no difference.
I think there should be two battery tests: One with as many native apps as possible, and one with as few native apps as possible, just to see how much of a role optimization can play.
3:45 galaxy has bluetooth device connected? you can see it in the status bar
its bluetooth on not connected. iphones bluetooth is on too
In my test, the S24 ultra lasted 2 minutes longer 😂 so they are about the same.
Although almost a tie and apple still won but one advantage that Samsung has is faster charging. I can go through a full day with only 30 minutes charging .
Well with the new model iPhones you don’t really have to charge your phone. I think that’s the main purpose of having such a great battery. I haven’t had to charge an iPhone during the day since I got the 13 Pro series
I@@BruceLeeRoy26I mean. So with the new galaxy. It's a 2 minute difference. Not that major.
Meaning... It doesn't matter?
But having options like faster charging battery share and faster wireless charging makes is better regardless
@@shortstuff780 but when would I ever use fast charging? That’s what I’m getting at. If I just charge at night because the battery is that good what’s the point of fast charging besides potentially damaging the battery in the long run? And yes I have the OnePlus Open, so I have used fast charging phones before. Just really does nothing if the phone has a great battery.
It is more on the rare occasion I need help quickly charge my 24 ultra fast but in general, I’m pretty good having both my iPhone in the galaxy charged. Especially with it being so great mag battery pack. I can just stop on if I really need to for my iPhone and in any way between my house at work and in the car, it’s very rare that you drew my phone was below 50% on a normal day, since it is so plugged in so often even all day that I’m traveling into them, I never worry about battery
Fast charging is good because I'm a student and sometimes I wake up on a school day realising that i forgot to charge my phone. Plug it in, then shower. Come back and it's already almost 70%.
Dear friend, you should have considered the brightness of the screen of both phones with the same nitometer and according to the resolution of the highest screen of Samsung, you should have set it to Full HD Plus to do justice.
Please do a s24 exynos Vs s24 snapdragon battery and speed tests 🙏
Try a battery test after one month and ever applejuice phone will loose 😂
Bro I'm so confused 😢 which one should I buy any help guys ?!!! 😢😢
I'd say get both if you can for the lowest price lol I'm trying to get both online but without a carriers/networks for both phones
This channel always has the most fair tests.
Bro this is too close to even be called an absolute win😂
Galaxy has a bigger battery so it’s definitely a win for iPhone.
@@DanielSanchez-qc1keno it isnt it has a lower resolution 1.5k display so less pixels to power as well as less brighter display so its wrong to say it won completely
It would have been nice if you posted about the settings configuration for S24U.😊
A 2 minute difference is a win for s24 since it charge faster
But the iPhone has Qi 2.0/MagSafe, meaning I can slap a magnetic wireless charging battery pack on, making the iPhone the winner.
@@andyH_England😂😂😂, Samsung can also do that soo...
@@ctnikola_9047 You have to buy a case that affects the s-pen. So, no, it is not the same.
So did you use the footage from the original battery test with the iPhone 15 Pro Max? Because I noticed it performed almost exactly the same as it did in the original battery test even though you said there was a bug causing battery drain. If you did, could you please give the results for the iPhone 15 models on the new software
No because the 15 pro Max lasted a minute longer in this video than the other videos.
Imagine if an iPhone had the same size of the battery as the Ultra
To make it more accurate you should change the screen setting to auto brightness and change the lighting in the room to make it more realistic.
Zoneoftech’s S24 ultra 15 pro max battery comeback tells a different story
Ultra lasted 50min more🤔
Ha just commented this. S24 had a significant amount of battery left after iPhone died
Probably his test didnt have an app cycle part where iphone caught up
can we do this for every iphone, pixel, and samsung device at each price level? like budget A series samsung vs pixel a series, vs iphone se. regular iphone 15, vs regular s24, vs regular pixel, and of course their pro versions and maybe even flip versions, sooo much content to make with all these phones! and super useful info for prospective buyers. there are literally 1000s of people making a decision based on your results. keep up the good work!
