    This gotta be one of, if not the only one "most accurate" battery test ever. This is how battery is drained and how phones are being used. Unlike other RUclipsrs where they just throw things at it until both phones run out of juice. Good video!! 👌You just got yourself a new subscriber. 🥳

    • @Christopher2024ND
      @Christopher2024ND 8 месяцев назад +8

      Yeah, they should just include it in the slider. Maybe the idea is to inform users that if you turn this ON, and you crank your screen to the max, you will be really sucking battery life. But that should be obvious. I agree, just put the extra range inside the manual slider and forget the toggle.

    You didn't turn on adaptive brightness for the s24 ultra which is why the iphone was brighter - adaptive brightness makes the s24 ultra go to 2600 nits outdoors.

    • @arinansel8529

    • @Lupin788
      @Lupin788 8 месяцев назад +12

      I was wondering about that too. However, if 2600 nits brightness was enabled, that would probably drain the S24U's battery faster. The washed out colour in the S24U is a known issue that Samsung has promised to issue a patch to fix by the end of the month.

    This is the best and most accurate battery test videos, none of these laying flat on a table. Real world, with areas where connection will drop low especially on the trains and using it around towns and cities with higher density of connections to really test the WiFi chips and how it drains batteries. But both did very well I mean 9 and a half hours is more than enough especially as it was heavy use with GPS, Ubers, train rides camera and gaming. also in terms of battery life is the ultra on 1440p? Also, after a week or more, the ultra optimizes itself. I have found that this increases my battery life quite a bit. It also learns patterns of app usage in the background and optimizes the ones that drain the battery.

    Best comparison by real life usage, you used both phones, like all normal people would use on a say vacation. I appreciate your efforts in doing so, you earned yourself a new subscriber, cheers.

    Battery tests like these that actually include extensive 5G network use are MUCH more indicative of real world experience than all those WiFi only tests that many channels put out.

    Your comparison I believe is biased!
    Because at time 1:05 S24 Ultra at 97% | iPhone at 100% --> while in Uber taxi
    But at time 0:40 S24 Ultra at 96% | iPhone at 100% --> While booking Uber taxi
    How is that possible that 1% battery increased in S24 Ultra magically?

    • @alantennyson3855
      @alantennyson3855 8 месяцев назад +2

      lol you looked at the percentage but not the time next to it? go check again. it seems it was a before and after shot and he didn't think anyone would notice it.

    I got my S24 ultra on Friday and wow! This phone goes over 24 hours. This is with my normal use I used to do on my S22 ultra which needed to charge by the end of the day. It's amazing how much they achieved in just 2 generations. No regrets!! The phone is a power beast running YUZU like a champ and still gives over 24 hours of battery

    Hi, good information, but it'd better if you also include real life charging tests (like 30min quick charge) and then comparing battery would be better. As people who are in hurry/emergency might have an idea this way for how long it can be used

    As an iPhone 12 user the thing that killed the most iPhone 15 pro max battery probably was the long video recording. With a 2 years old iPhone 12 86% battery health if I take a 1 minute video battery goes down of like 3% and it overheats when I use max brightness under the sun

      @@rogueforce50you can't do a direct comparison based on battery capacity. The battery is bigger but the screen resolution is higher too.

    May i know did you close any apps on the samsung or iphone? My concern is that samsung (or any android) usually require us to close the app if we are not using it and iphone will "suspend" it. In many cases i experience samsung battery draining faster if i have many apps remained open in the background.

    I feel like this test should be the basis when considering battery life between the 2 flagships. This is more representative of how people would use their phones in real life as opposed to a controlled test.
