Anti-Reflection has been applied to the cover glass of the S24 ULTRA. This is a very big advantage. I want the same handling to be applied to the iPhone 16 Pro Line coming this year.
It isn't a coating.. it's the type of glass. I doubt that Apple will use the same corning glass.. but they may be able to develop a better version of whatever they are currently using.
Already preordered my S24 Ultra today. Jumping from an iPhone X to this. To say it’s gonna be a huge difference is an understatement 😂! And I’m very happy with my decision on finally leaving apple. Nothing but a money hungry company now 😔
how does the camera compare to Samsung Galaxy S23? I just had my S21stolen on vacation and need to replace it, is it worth the money to get the S24? I want it as a camera for travelling and zoom for filming video at football matches and concerts...
It feels so amazing having a Galaxy again. I’ve always bought Samsung Galaxy phones in the past but recently i decided to try out Apple. First apple device was the IPhone 13, which was ok but nothing special, then I traded for the 14 Pro Max, very problematic, so after dealing with constant issues of the 14 pro max, and 4 replacement devices that seem to perform worse than the previous phone it replaced, I traded for a 15 Pro Max. My new 15 Pro Max came out the box with a glitch in the screen plus overheating issues, I gave Apple back there device and literally ran back to Samsung. I never had issues with my past Samsung devices.
I am mostly interested in the built-in keyboard feature that can help me correct my spelling and grammar. English being my 3rd language, there were times my thoughts, and grammar may need some refinements, and I'm pretty sure this will be of big help for me. Can't wait to pick up my S24 Ultra on the 7th. Watching this btw on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. :)
I noticed in all these youtube reviews they are shitting on s24 to be similar to s23 and s22 but they'll all ok and all praise for iphone which literally has the same design for more then 5 years now.
Samsung responded to a request for comment with a slightly longer version of that fine print, saying, "We are committed to making Galaxy AI features accessible to our users and will provide them for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices."
Tbh, they're both really amazing phones. It all depends on your preference. If you like simplicity, then get the iPhone, but if you like to customize your phone and use the features that cones with the phone, then get samsung.
That's been the difference between Samsung and iPhone since the inception of the Galaxy series. Also, if you want to follow trends and what's popular in America; get iphone. If you want to be you're own person and not just follow what most other people do; get Samsung.
@@Thomas998822I don’t care about trends or whatever but in my experience, Samsung is not as fast or responsive as IPhone after like 6 months of use. All the Samsung flagship phones I used to own, has abit of lag after using it for few months. Maybe have to do with the chip, as I live in Australia and the chip is different than the one in Korea
I say this as someone who's never owned an apple product, but it bugs the hell out of me with apple always being on top in the camera department. Can we for once be on par? Like the night shot comparison the highlights were so blown out on the 24. And same with the selfie video. Your skin tone was so much better on the iphone
Why the whole world misses the point that Apple has a value for ease of usage and less complicated interface. They started from targeting business class who did not play games on their phones and that value is continuing till date even now a teenager also has iPhone.
@@sandeep_sigroha to me I am using iPhone for more than 7 years and I never have any issue with going back on apps it’s mostly just a swipe which is cool also. They have it everywhere you use apps. After a month you get used to it. In fact when I use my Father’s android I find it complicated. It’s because of practice. Apple focuses on best hardware, stability of operating system, more security and privacy, ease of usage etc. Android on the other hand is for everyone and gives you ease of more customisation. Both phones are great depending on which hardware and software are you using.
Apple can't post a video or image on insta by running it in background , inconsistent in ba k button feature and gestures, a lot of extra taps to do some task in settings , it doesn't have a lot of feature which android in ultra offers , split screen app, pop up view of app, etc
@@Saif_Ali_Khan_1301 that’s right. Apple doesn’t chase feature loading as it is not near to any other competition when it comes to volume of sales. That’s why they keep it a classy less complicated and a phone for every earning age group. I love android how much they are flexible and adaptable but that’s not a business class phone. They are phones for every class of society.
I am a Samsung Knight. However in terms of upgrade It's an incremental upgrade . Better AOD, Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. As an owner of the s23 Ultra, I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen. This upgrade is only for those who have the s22 or s21 or older , if you have the s23 ultra I recommend waiting one more year. With that being said android offers more value like multi tasking , stylus pen w gestures, foldable innovation, advanced emulation no limitations etc. This is exactly why Samsung, Google, Huawei and Xiaomi , One plus and Red Magic and the entire android family will always be lightyears ahead of ios and why I will never return my main sim to ios ever again.
Unless a new technology develops for producing chips. You will ONLY ever see "incremental" upgrade from now on. Dont know what people expect. You want a gaming desktop in a phone. That wont happen any time soon.
@@tuckerhiggins4336 i ugrade every year. But then again i never pay full price for the device to begin with. But yes many people upgrade every year. I never have a phone for more than a year.
@@tuckerhiggins4336 but for me i see value in the new features. For the anti glare alone i would upgrade. Due to how often i shoot and operate the phone outdoors here in hawaii. Very bright and sunny all the time. Then there is camera upgrades although small...very impactfull upgrades. Then the titanium body is also a big upgrade with the harder glass. This is actually not incremental. Just cause it looks nearly the same. When you add up all the changes this is a pretty big upgrade. Gen 3. To gorrilla armor, with the anti-glare along with the brightness boost is actually a big upgrade. Lets say they didnt boost the nits and kept it the same. The fact that it has some anti-glare would mean the screen woulf be way easier to see in daylight already then they still added more brightness. I think the 3x to 5x is better than the 3x to 10x. Cuz the steps is more smoother now. There is a lot here. Some of it is just physical but its not any less important. Should be way way harder to bust the screen now. Most people have some kind of case on the phone but lots of it is just a thin rubber skin cuz some people dont like that thick "otterbox" type of cases cause it makes the phone too big. But how with titanium frame you really dont need an otterbox to have that level of protection since the body is more durable
@@tuckerhiggins4336 I do upgrade very year... but I seriously have a problem that only a professional can cure.. LOL BUt I agree that incremental is all we can expect. The development of smart phones has matured. The iPhone hasn't changed in many years. Evolving software to the trends of consumers is about all we get.. or should expect.

Hi Saf, I would love to see a follow up video in about 6 months please let us know which one of the 2 devices you find yourself using more and enjoying more. Now I do have the iphone 15 pro max but love the bigger brighter display on the Samsung S24 ultra. Considering that a lot of my friends and family also use ios I can take advantage of imessage (which I love btw) and other ios only features as well as facetime. In either case would love to see if you find yourself using one of these devices more than the other. Thanks.
All things considered these are both flagship devices; they are both top of the line. I recently switched to the new 15ProMax (used Samsung for 5 yrs) and I am very satisfied for various reasons. Try both to know which is better for you needs.
I switched from samsung to iphone 14 pro max but what a nightmare. The back button is not steady and its a suprise where it is everytime. Now ordered the s24 ultra. I tought ios was efficient but it is not. I can do most functions faster on the samsung. See also the test from jerryrigeverything
Exaclty my story. I switched to iphone 13 pro max from samsung note 9 considering its an old phone and expected that iphone might be better.. but.. I regretted the whole 1 n half year of using iphone. Many features were missing, however there were few things which i like abt iphone as i was using older samsung phone.. but now i really need to get back to samsung
I went from the s22 ultra (Exynos) to the iPhone 15 pro max and I’m loving the experience. I’ve had Android for 8 years and enjoyed the overall experience but I fancied a change and I’ve got no problems on iOS. I may even stick with iPhone for a while longer now that I got the Apple Watch too 😂
Both are great but I've had iphone 15PM for 2 months and I don't like the fact that you cannot customise and move apps around to where I want them to be. There are like 5+ ways of taking screenshots on the Samsung but I can't say the same for the iPhone. so for me I'd have to go with Samsung. I understand some will disagree with me but it's just my opinion and experience
Bruh.. you literally can set many ways to capture screenshots using iphone…you can use action button, press power button and lower volume button together, set up double back tap , use assistive touch button to select screenshots function or you can set the double tab the button or hold it for that function.
Please don't get me wrong, but I don't think you've really got to grips with the iPhone. You can move any app anywhere, you can change the appearance of the apps and you have X number of ways to take screenshots. And you can achieve incredible things with the commands. The excuse that the OS limits you in terms of personalisation has been dead since iOS 17 at the latest. Just buy a Samsung if you're so convinced. The differences are marginal.
Do you have a video that highlights the key differences? This is a good video, but mostly seems to show how similar they are and that whichever one you choose is based more on preference. What would I miss out on if I choose the iPhone? What would I miss out on by choosing the Samsung? How do they compare for international usage? Does Samsung have any SOS feature like the iPhone?
I just preordered the S24 Ultra! I'm upgrading 5 generations from my current S10+. I can't wait to receive it! Always Samsung over Apple. Great review!
What color did you have in hand? Sorry if I missed it, but seems like the titanium gray takes on whatever color is most dominant in the background, sometimes it looks gold, sometimes silver, sometimes lavender
I always watch these Samsung/Android phone releases, then I go and buy iPhone. Having used iPhones since the 3gS model, I just don’t feel like switching. I’ve tried everything else, even Blackberry phones when they were around, but always come back to iPhone. Plus everyone in the family uses iMessage and FaceTime. Plus I use a MacBook and iPad and have also bought movies on Apple TV. I totally understand though when someone buys Samsung/Android, they have their pros but I just don’t use any of those pros. Everything just works smoothly and securely for me on iPhone, so for now I don’t see myself changing platforms. Maybe with the next models update next year, I’ll see. Haha!
Currently using s22 ultra. S24 ultra looks awesome feels awesome but until they rounded the corners to prevent it poking into my palm I’m sticking with my s22ultra for now. I see s24 and 24plus corners are rounded.. why couldn’t they just do the same for s24 ultra? I’m sad Samsung… sad…

I have the 15 pro max, and my wife has the s24 ultra. It came down to the operating systems for both of us. Now 6 months in (we bought them the same day) the iPhone is smoother and more user friendly than the Sammy. She struggles to do some things, that I can do effortlessly. This Samsung is like all previous versions. It has glitches that prevent or slow operations, and that's frustrating for her, whereas my little Max just quietly chugs along without issues. She is a computer programmer so it's not her fault, it's all on Samsung. We don't buy new phones every year. We average about 4 or 5 years, and after 4 the Samsungs are very glitchy, but the iPhones are hiccup-less. It still comes down to the operating systems for both of us. Samsung certainly needs to step up it's game though. Good review!

@@specialcookdaymy note 20 ultra 5G lags after using for under a year, maybe it’s because of the chip since some country get different chip (snapdragon vs exynos). But yeah, every Samsung flagship I owned, lags after a while
From what I've looked up, the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 beats the A17 in a few benchmarks. Which, to my knowledge, is the only time a Qualcomm chip has done that. I've been a phone enthusiast for over 5 years now and I've never seen the Apple chips lose a benchmark till now. antutu, geekbench and 3DMark. I forgot which, but the 8 gen 3 has won at least one of these.
I’ve been with Apple for the best part of 12 years and occasionally, I’ve left Apple and gone with Android but, I’ve quickly switched back. Recently, I did the same; upgrading from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the Samsung S24 Ultra and initially, I liked the Samsung but the more I used it, I realised why I loved Apple so much. I now have sold my Samsung and I have the 15 Pro Max and I’m happy with my decision. I’ll never go back to Samsung.

I've been using Samsung since note 1, and I am currently using 23 ultra. I just ordered 24 ultra. But i also use iPhone 15 pro max, and both are really good, actually. I am really amazed with 15 pro max video camera. I also noticed that music sounded very clear whenever i connected to any Bluetooth speakers. On the other hand, Samsung is good for media consumption. Takes very good bright pictures. Samsung gives you a lot of freedom to customize anything on the phone. I used to hate iPhones, but 15 pro max changed my perspective. So both phones are good it just depends on consumer preferences.
Both phones were on display at the local store. Although being fond of iOS, the S24 Ultra sold me right away. I always wanted to own a Note-phone, and in the case of the S24 Ultra, the screen now being flat + square design destroys the iPhone for me. Great comparison, Saf!
I'm really starting to doubt benchmarks. In other performance tests, the S24 Ultra usually keeps up with or surpasses the 15PM, and in other geekbench tests, both phones are almost the exact same score
Well the s23 Ultra is better than the iPhone 15, sooooo, I would definitely imagine that the s24 Ultra is way better. I have the 15 Plus and yeaaaaah, I’ve had older phones that, besides the camera, are far better for today’s type of internet usages than the 15 is

I went with the s24. I got tired of apple a few years back and went with a fold3. Decent phone, build quality wasn't great. Maybe I'll go back to apple someday, but I think the s24 will do fine for me until my next upgrade.

Anti-Reflection has been applied to the cover glass of the S24 ULTRA. This is a very big advantage. I want the same handling to be applied to the iPhone 16 Pro Line coming this year.
It will definitely help in sunlight plus it has a 2600 nits display...
It isn't a coating.. it's the type of glass. I doubt that Apple will use the same corning glass.. but they may be able to develop a better version of whatever they are currently using.

Phones have reached a peak, smaller & faster is really the only benchmark for flagships now.
Longer battery life is the next game changer
Some say 2030 will be the peak 🤔🌻
Smaller ? No

Like the night shot comparison the highlights were so blown out on the 24. And same with the selfie video. Your skin tone was so much better on the iphone
I think it's too early for comparisons, we need to wait for the first updates because the phone is coming next 2 days.
Why the whole world misses the point that Apple has a value for ease of usage and less complicated interface. They started from targeting business class who did not play games on their phones and that value is continuing till date even now a teenager also has iPhone.
😂😂yes a super simple phone where u have to search for back button every now and then😂😂
1000$+ but still can't do 2 things at a time
@@sandeep_sigroha to me I am using iPhone for more than 7 years and I never have any issue with going back on apps it’s mostly just a swipe which is cool also.
Nobody upgrades every year. From that perspective, it's always incremental. But I do like the Toyota approach Samsung is taking now
@@tuckerhiggins4336 i ugrade every year.
LOL
BUt I agree that incremental is all we can expect. The development of smart phones has matured. The iPhone hasn't changed in many years. Evolving software to the trends of consumers is about all we get.. or should expect.
Do you want to multitask? Do you like to customise? Do you like being able to choose the SMS app etc? Do you like to choose if you want dynamic island or not? List goes on. I think spec doesent matter right now.

I may even stick with iPhone for a while longer now that I got the Apple Watch too 😂
I prefer s24 ultra design becuase sharp edges just look better than rounded edges to me
Same but I wish Samsung would have filed them a little to take the sharp edge off.
Lol bro
U love everything opposite?
Both are great but I've had iphone 15PM for 2 months and I don't like the fact that you cannot customise and move apps around to where I want them to be. There are like 5+ ways of taking screenshots on the Samsung but I can't say the same for the iPhone. so for me I'd have to go with Samsung. I understand some will disagree with me but it's just my opinion and experience
Bro just switch phones. Problem solved.
I would buy Samsung any day. I use many gestures, which save me lots of time. iPhone is too strict
Bruh.. you literally can set many ways to capture screenshots using iphone…you can use action button, press power button and lower volume button together, set up double back tap , use assistive touch button to select screenshots function or you can set the double tab the button or hold it for that function.
U can move apps to where u want on an IPhone. I do it all the time
Please don't get me wrong, but I don't think you've really got to grips with the iPhone.
Absolutely good content, keep up the good work. Was wondering what to buy, now I have better understanding.

I always watch these Samsung/Android phone releases, then I go and buy iPhone. Having used iPhones since the 3gS model, I just don’t feel like switching. I’ve tried everything else, even Blackberry phones when they were around, but always come back to iPhone. Plus everyone in the family uses iMessage and FaceTime.
Good review!

maybe it’s because of the chip since some country get different chip (snapdragon vs exynos).
