I just recently switched from my iPhone 13 Mini to a Galaxy S24 Ultra. And, it is a night and day difference, from the displays, cameras, apps, and ecosystems (Samsung does a pretty good job in this field already). Im glad ive made the switch, ultimately this is one of the biggest upgrades in a long while for me personally. I love being able to utilize Dex Mode when editing my photos, and the S-Pen is killer for jotting down notes, signing documents, sketching up ideas, and naturally the occasionally doodling. Overall, im very happy with my purchase decision and will be sticking with this for several years.
I bought the s24 ultra but had to returned bc battery problems :/. The most Screen On Time i could get out was 7 hours (barely 8). Do you have this problem? Or how is your battery output?
Going from a three-year-old iPhone, one of the cheapest, to the most expensive Galaxy S, the only surprise is that you are surprised by the difference!

I do not agree about your ecosystem statement. I turn on my washing machine from my Samsung phone when I’m about to leave the office. I also turn on the heating in my home from my phone when I’m in the car. Soon, I will even know the contents of my refrigerator for shopping when I upgrade to the new digital freezers next month. IOS is still missing so many little touches like separate volume for notifications and media, built in copy clipboard, and split screen multitasking just to name a few. iMessage is undefeated though coming from a person who’s used both.
No one cares about those features ! Nd once you are used to ios - they won't bother ! It's just that you're comparing it to android without experiencing it for long time ! I was samsung user from past 12 years ! Had been using xs max from sep 2023 just for getting experience! Initially i had problems, but believe me - once you get used to it - it feels way better intuitive and seamless than any android
@@Sameerkadav77Switched from S21 Ultra to iPhone 15 pro max and these things he mentioned are the things I used on android. Less so with the multi task split screen (although it makes sense to have one on such a big screen) but the others are just quality of life improvements. And on top of that a lot of things on iOS just takes an extra step longer i.e getting to the app drawer/library, inconsistency of going back, when turning off Bluetooth/wifi in control center is different to going into the settings and completely turning it off. And there’s a whole lot more annoyances I can think of. But admittedly, I’m liking the phone and its ecosystem. It’s just smooth and seamless, so I sold my android to keep forcing myself to get used to iPhone 😃
@@Sameerkadav77 no one cares until Apple decides to adopt it and then they see how awesome it is and spoken like a true iPhone user. I have iPhone 15 pro and use iOS for work purposes. The majority of the customers use iPhone and it makes life easier to send files via iMessage and high def pictures and videos without the need to upload them and have the customers download them as in Samsung. I also have the iPads Pro M4 which I use with TB3 to transfer files in a heartbeat. You just can’t do that quick with Samsung. I had the S22U and it was an amazing phone with all the benefits such as Dex but quickly stopped using the S-Pen and eventually stopped using all the really nice features that Samsung offers including scumbag zoom ( In Flossy Carter Voice ). I used to pick on iPhone co-workers of taking pictures of the moon, you can almost see the craters in the moon where’s with the iPhone, well it looked like a bright bulb. The debate between similar apps is always true. Apple will always have a much better running app and DEVs will focus more on those apps than through android. I will say that the battery life from my iPhone 15 pro is horrible, compared to my old S22u.
As basically just a surfer I agree with your general views.. iPhone is more polished .. the same apps look better on the iPhone but the Samsung has so much customisation.. great fun to fiddle with !… ( great video.. very entertaining! )
I love Samsung but I have so much Apple stuff that I have no desire to buy them. Hell my dog has an AirTag on. I used to have both flagships and split time between the two. Once you have a MacBook it becomes the mothership for all other Apple products. I can mirror my 15 Pro Max, text, FaceTime, handoff, AirDrop, auto connect to AirPods and more from my MacBook. I get the Samsung allure but once you have a ton of Apple gear it just works so seamlessly together.
@keitteramos4346yall apple haters call apple ecosystem a jail when there is LITERALLY NOTHING else you can do with a Samsung toward an iPhone, Samsung only works with its own ecosystem, and apple only really works with its own ecosystem, it’s that simple, heck, I might just call both ecosystems a jail 😅😂😂😂
What about the noise made from S24 Ultra image stabilisator? I hate this shacking sound ,at the beginning was not.loud but after 3 months when I shake it litle is ticking loud ,I hate I'd, if i know that , I would newer buy this samsung
Is S24plus exynoos antenna is good or weak on 4g ? Is it worth 256gb ? I don't like ultra's corners? And is it 256 gb enough if we want to record 4k60 or 1080 more than 2 or 3 hours?
I prefer Samsung S24 Ultra, for the screen, cameras, s-pen, versatility, Samsung Knox which is a very good security layer, and no one speaks about it :), and yeah the ecosystem as well, but of course, in the end everyone chooses what he likes and what seems more appropriate for the daily usage.
Very good video overall, congratulations. What I think is equally important to everything you've mentioned in this video, is the price you pay at initial purchase vs resale value. I am a long time Samsung/Android user but am going to switch to iphone just for this. Within 2 years from purchase, a Samsung phone will go down to approx 40% of its initial value whilst iphones sit comfortable at 60% (both in top notch conditions). Edit: typos
The battery life part is so true, it's a disaster, especially when I'm traveling. I usually leave the charger with 100% at 7~8am, and end up 20%~15% at 4pm. And I need to turn on low power mode the whole day to achieve 4pm. My previous S23 Ultra usually can get me throughout a whole day till 8~9pm, even with so many photo+video shooting, and GPS navigating in the city. That thing is just so efficient. Even so, I have only 250 cycles and my battery health is 93% now, for only 7 months. I remember my S23 Ultra held up to 96% over a year for almost 400 cycles. I'm pretty sure the heat from 15 Pro Max with taking photos and videos kill the battery health for some reason.
one thing that does certainly bug me about iphones and it seems to be a re-occuring theme is that they're always overheating and stopping my recordings which is really frustrating, my XS kept overheating, then my iphone 12, now my 15 pro max like wth!... i dont know if the samsung s24 phones are like this but when it comes to video recording, what's the point of iphone being so good if it's just gonna keep overheating and ending the recordings?... if android phones are like this please let me know as a friend of mine who appears to be "anti-iphone" lol (he hates iphones and will never buy one) he says his samsung galaxy s22 ultra never overheats and records for ages with it... but when i do some research im reading up that these android phones also overheat, is it worth me switching because of this overheating issue or should i just stick with iphone?
very interesting. I've never had an iphone and was seriously never in the situation where something wouldn't work or wasn't available for Android. Maybe it's because I'm not in the us?
You should def try it at some point! Yeah for example things 3 is a to do list app I use. Not available on android. There’s quite a few situations I’ve been in like this unfortunately :(

I am laughing at how many people are trying to downplay on Samsung and Android in general (as always).. Even tho im not objectively inclined to any one particular side, true for a lot of things, imho credits should be given where it's due, both these phones are awesome...
Hahaha. So true. Most people in the comment section talking smack about either phones have not held or use either phones at all. Some have used a much older version of the brand and probably had bad experiences that are now way improved. 😂
My biggest problem with android is updating the new firmware you’ve got to wait for android to send it to Samsung then you gotta wait for Samsung to send it to your carrier and then you gotta wait for the carrier to then be bothered to then download it to your phone so the Google pixel could have the new firmware six months before Samsung gets it. I’ll stick to my iPhone plus as well when I take my iPhone out of the box, I don’t lose 50% of what the phone is worth the second and take it out. Like with Samsung
I used to get Samsung phones, but lately I have been getting iPhones. I had the 12pm, 13pm, 14pm, and now the 15pm, but this time around I’m going to get the 16 Pro.

I'm using one from each ecosystem. Iphone and Ipad for work related purposes (the EHR I use only has an IOS app for some reason) then my S24 ultra as my all around daily driver. Honestly I've been an android user since the Galaxy S4 launched, and I've got to say I enjoy what an android ecosystem offers be it the freedom of personalizing your phone, and the ease of transferring files from PC to phone, diverse brands to choose from, that's what wins me over. When I use IOS, I like how straight forward it is. Its simplicity does make using an IOS device easier. As well as those tiny IOS functions to which I wish Android would also copy such as the airdrop function. Both ecosystems have their benefits, and if you got the money to get devices from both ecosystems, I'd say go for it.
I have iphone 15 pro max, apple watch 9 gen and airpods and macbook. Samsung wise o have s24 ultra and galaxy watch 6 classic. I still can't fully choose which I'm going to keep. 😢
iPhone 15 Pro Max is way behind in screen brightness in outdoors during daytime, will dim instantly in summer days and/or like at the beach, 2000 nits only usable at evening? I have also S24U, and won’t dim the screen as bad as the iPhone under this condition.
The iPhone will dim the screen to prevent thermal issues, but if you are out in the sun doing quick stuff, then you will be fine. People may not like that Apple dictates features like this, but some people do not understand how to look after tech and will abuse their devices and then blame the OEM. Reducing brightness when hot will hopefully make the phone's life longer, and that seems to be the case, as iPhones maintain their value far better than Samsung phones. Common sense is needed as phones do not have active cooling, so you should not push them in the hot sun. I saw a review of the Fold6, and in the mid-80s Celsius the battery reached 105 degrees Fahrenheit--that will surely damage the phone/battery in the long run.
I’ve been back and forth between Apple and android but for my past 3 or 4 phones, I’ve been getting iPhones. Also have MacBook, Apple Watch, AirPods, etc. But as of late, I find Apple boring. Same goes for the iPhone 16. Nothing really new or exciting coming. So for the first time in a while, I’m considering the S24 and giving android a shot again after all these years.
I actually left Samsung after being a lifelong user for a 15 Pro Max. My previous/current phone was the Fold5 /S24U. I left because I wanted to try something new after getting kind of bored with the android ecosystem. I'm loving the my experience with my iPhone right now. The battery life for me is the same as the S24U, and camera's are very solid with the 15PM winning in video recording. Also, I was kinda shock how well 5x photos look on the 15PM versus the S24U. I think the only thing that will bring me back to Samsung is when they do an actual upgrade on their foldables. I will miss the easy customization when it comes to android. Apple is releasing an update soon which will bring android features to their latest iPhones. I feel that will definitely make it easy for folks to either stay with Apple, or make a move towards it like me.
I never fan on curve screen, thats why im using iPhone before this. Gladly this year, samsung came out with a flat screen on an ultra series. Love the experience.
Being a Tech Girl and a Blogger/RUclipsr, I always thought iPhone to be better than Samsungs, but Samsung has it in their hands this time, switched from iPhone 15 PM to Samsung S24 Ultra and already in love with how much freedom I have with S24 Ultra, and its just so much fun to use it, on the contrary iPhone got really really boring.. Loving the UHD Videos I am making for RUclips from my S24 Ultra :) .. Great Video Tausif :)

I used iPhone for 10 years since iPhone 4 but switched over to S22U in 2022. Apple is more straight forward to use where I don't need to switch on power saving mode but I need to switch on power saving mode for S22U right out of the box. I noticed the battery is draininig way faster for S22U than iPhone. Downside is I can't get notification on time unless I on the screen with power saving mode on. As a Windows user, i would say Samsung is better than Apple in term of compatibility. Even people around me agree Samsung photos are somehow better than iPhone in term of saturation and HDR. I love Samsung screen because it is rectangular, not cutting out the content, saturated and sharp. I love the S pen because I can sketch something on the go and revert immediately without turning on my laptop. I love OneUI and the way it auto arrange my icons aphabetically. I hate how fast S22U battery is draining with always on display, I hate to put which app into deep sleep, sleeping and never sleeping. I hate having to update apps on Playstore and Samsung store seperately every night when I charge my phone. I hate Samsung pick and choose to release their latest update to old phone. Basically I am not enjoying the full potential of S22U although it is better than iPhone in my personal opinion. Next month, i am going back to iPhone 16 Pro max again. Customization is not suitable for me though...
S22U is literally one of Samsung worse phones when it comes to battery life. I had it briefly when it came out, and returned it in less than a week. I think it had something to do with the SD 8 Gen 1. Samsung fixed all the battery issues in the S23U series with the new SD.
I usually switch between apple and samsung. Iphone for videos, samsung for pictures and customization. Imessage and facetime are awesome too. After ios 18 update and rcs support it really wont matter anymore tho. Cant wait

Fuck man, I wish the Samsung had the Iphones camera. I'm a lifelong Samsung user, and really would like the s24U, but I find the camera on the 15pm so much better - I find the photos from the basic cam more pleasing, the 5x seems to do a better job (the 5x is for me the most used lens on the phone cameras) and the Blackmagic app, eapecially with how it can handle LOG, makes up for any drawbacks of thr main cam app, which I can just use to capture easy jpgs... honestly, just the camera alone might finally force me to switch to Iphone.

Do Apple provide the same breath of home appliances? Ehm, do they feck.
Samsung ecosytstem is also great espicially Dex.

Great video and comparison bro! Been meaning to get S24 Ultra for a while, this helped me make the decision! Jazakallah Khair
I am really considering going back to Samsung but everything I now have is Apple (Mac computer, tablets). How is integration between Samsung and the Apple products work? Is it easy to integrate? Any insight would be helpful! Thanks so much!
@@Sameerkadav77 Having split screen, clipboard and the edge panel is a HUGE deal breaker for me. I would never switch to iOS
You must never use AirPods and have your music volume turned up and got a notification that blows your eardrums away because you had the ringer on. So happy for you friend lol It is annoying as heck! And I can see copy clipboard not being useful for people who probably don’t do any productivity work on their device even though Apple has a clipboard app in App Store but I digress. I digress. These things I mentioned absolutely matter to people like me and that’s ok.

Great video! Gotta love the iPhone and its ecosystem! 👏🏻🔥
I am watching this video on my lovely iPhone 15 pro max . I loved it
As basically just a surfer I agree with your general views.. iPhone is more polished .. the same apps look better on the iPhone but the Samsung has so much customisation.. great fun to fiddle with !… ( great video.. very entertaining!
@keitteramos4346it’s just a phone, chill 🙄
Seamless integration, better UI, better apps, better ecosystem. Pretty good "jail"
What about the noise made from S24 Ultra image stabilisator?

Edit: typos
This ! This has to be put out there louder in all iPhone vs Samsung comparisons brother ! You nailed it there !
Not true. My iphone was worth max half of the price, 2 years later...

So would you recommend getting the s23 v the s24 🤔? The battery life aspect is really important to me
@@tylerhobbs7178 I don't have S24Ultra but I can assure you S23Ultra is pretty solid, even when you travel to another country.
one thing that does certainly bug me about iphones and it seems to be a re-occuring theme is that they're always overheating and stopping my recordings which is really frustrating, my XS kept overheating, then my iphone 12, now my 15 pro max like wth!... i dont know if the samsung s24 phones are like this but when it comes to video recording, what's the point of iphone being so good if it's just gonna keep overheating and ending the recordings?... if android phones are like this please let me know as a friend of mine who appears to be "anti-iphone" lol (he hates iphones and will never buy one) he says his samsung galaxy s22 ultra never overheats and records for ages with it... but when i do some research im reading up that these android phones also overheat, is it worth me switching because of this overheating issue or should i just stick with iphone?
very interesting. I've never had an iphone and was seriously never in the situation where something wouldn't work or wasn't available for Android. Maybe it's because I'm not in the us?

Ultra*
I need you to do a comparison again of s24 ultra and iPhone 16 pro. I cannot decide between the two.
Your opinion on their batteries are the first I heard after researching for 10days.

Great feedback dude! Love that you got to experience both. Thanks for watching!
I have iphone 15 pro max, apple watch 9 gen and airpods and macbook. Samsung wise o have s24 ultra and galaxy watch 6 classic. I still can't fully choose which I'm going to keep. 😢
That means both worlds are great.
There you go. Both are fantastic haha! We have so much cool tech to enjoy!
iPhone 15 Pro Max is way behind in screen brightness in outdoors during daytime, will dim instantly in summer days and/or like at the beach, 2000 nits only usable at evening? I have also S24U, and won’t dim the screen as bad as the iPhone under this condition.
Really? I didn’t find the iPhone to be bad outside by any means. Will have to give this a go again.
Whic has the best camera quality
I’ve been back and forth between Apple and android but for my past 3 or 4 phones, I’ve been getting iPhones. Also have MacBook, Apple Watch, AirPods, etc. But as of late, I find Apple boring. Same goes for the iPhone 16. Nothing really new or exciting coming. So for the first time in a while, I’m considering the S24 and giving android a shot again after all these years.
And how?
Didn't mention the non reflecting gorilla glass on the samsung

And how?
😭On the contrary Samsung or Android in general got boring for me. I actually switched to the 15PM from a S24U. The only thing I will miss is easy customization, but Apple is bringing some Android features in their next big update.

I switched from Iphone 13 Pro max to Samsung S24 Ultra. Did I make a right decision to switch from
ios to android. Did I upgrade?
You did upgrade bro. I have an iPhone thinking about switching
I totally feel where you’re coming from. I’m glad you experienced both though. Now you can make a proper informed decision!
S22U is literally one of Samsung worse phones when it comes to battery life. I had it briefly when it came out, and returned it in less than a week. I think it had something to do with the SD 8 Gen 1. Samsung fixed all the battery issues in the S23U series with the new SD.
