I have noticed that in certain areas my coworkers with iPhones tend to lose their signals whereas I'm still on 5G and I've got an S22 Ultra. Regarding the sharp corners the Note devices before the Note 20 arrived and brought with it this design were much more comfortable in the hand. But I still prefer this design as it's way more screen real-estate for gaming, content viewing, Split screen, and note taking. But iPhone vs Galaxy I feel it's all about preference at this point but The Galaxy line is crazy fun and gives everything you need to leave the house with just that one device and be able to do all you need. Yeah. I've got all three of those and prefer my 24+. Only because of it's size and weight. Im running the 18.2 beta on my 15pm and it makes it nice to look at, but yes, they need to expand on the grid. Tighten it up, shrink the app icons. Apple's eco-system is tight too. I like it more than Sammy's. I've got both. To me, the watch ultra 2 is the best. Waiting to see how Samsung does with their ultra watch. Great vid Nick!
ergonomics and design wise iphone is amazing. For all the other points you have made an excellent review. Value especially if someone waits a little bit, Samsung is the better phone. From a iphone pro max 15 user
As always Samsung is more versatile but in the end neither the two, the user is always win. To those want to update their phone to ios 18 beta Nick is right there’s lot of app crashed at least based on my experience like sending pictures using messenger it automatically going back to my home screen.
I love Galaxy phones but after using them so long I'm kind of getting sick of the redundancy and excessive abundancy of features. Like Galaxy AI now shows a second Translate button in the contextual menu that brings it up instead of Google Translate and it's actually worse, also Galaxy AI requires you to download all of those language packs that are like half a Gigabyte each and get updated often. That's just an example. Another thing is how they look like they're being such a bunch of copycats and at this point I don't know if I want to stick with them because I don't really want to use something that tries to be something else. That doesn't make me want to pick their copied version, that makes me want to pick the "original" version more
The Iphone 15 PM was the first ios I've ever owned and honestly it is amazing. The battery life is godly even though software wise android is better but honestly the ios 18 should suffice
My 15 pro max is already at 90. I don’t know why you’re so annoyed of yours being at 99. I was just at 99 in April. I can’t believe I lost 9 percent in 2-3 months.
What’s your usage like?? Or how do you use your phone? Do you use it when it’s charging? Do you let it get hot or overheat? Do you have your settings optimized for your usage preferences?
@@Ultrrraaa I run betas on my phone and drain it down almost every day. It only lasts about 6-7 hours on 18 beta for me and it gets pretty hot. I charge to 100 percent but have optimized charging on. I can’t charge it to below 100 or else I’ll have to charge it before the end of the day
@@InsighterofTech really? Cause I’m a heavy user with a 15 pro on iOS 18 beta 2 I have my charging limit set to 90 and I don’t let my phone go below 20-25 percent. I have always on display set to off, dark mode on, I have background refresh turned to off on apps that I don’t often use, I use dark mode, adaptive screen brightness, and screen timeout set to either 1-3 minutes. I also keep my phone cool, and while it’s charging I keep it in a cool area and I don’t use while charging. I’ve had my 15 pro since launch and it’s still at 100% battery health
I'm really happy with my iPhone 15 Pro Max (1TB, Titanium Black) - I wish I would've got the Titanium Gray 🙃but Black was the only color option for the 1TB in stock at my local Apple Store back at release, haha. I also still got my S23 Ultra, which will get Galaxy AI as well and still has that amazing 10x telephoto lens 😁but I wish it would have the super slim bezels and flat display like the S24 Ultra, those are amazing 🙃
During the commencement of the video, the battery level of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was at 75%, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a battery level of 100%. After a duration of 26 minutes and 58 seconds, it was observed that the iPhone maintained its battery level at 100%, whereas the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra experienced a depletion in its battery level, resulting in a remaining battery percentage of 72%.
The reason why the screen on the iphone generally looks more vivid, warm, and pleasing to look at, is mostly because of its true tone, it helps make the screen look natural with the help of the lighting temperature

90% of the videos i watch do net interfer with the notch. I came from an Oneplus 7 Pro (no notch) to the 15PM and i really though i would hate the dynamic island but honestly it does not bother me at all, i even like it as a feature now
@@soumyamal72 I did make a mistake by buying an Pixel 8 Pro first (had it for 2 months between 15PM and 7P) and i tried to like it just like you said but i did not. Samsung display is the best in the market.I own both, the colors are punchy and vibrant,it’s a lot better than the one on iphone,on top of that it’s gorilla glass which is scratch resistant and it feels much better than the iphone’s that has a plastic feel.
@@balt0x801bro its his experience and opinion, if you think s23 ultra is better, then go ahead thats your opinion, but dont go bashing others who have different opinions that doesnt go with yours
What do you think about this opinion? Still, no one uses Android, so you can’t work with that phone properly. All professional (photography/filmmaking) apps only work well on iPhone. There is no AirDrop (and almost everyone in the working world uses an iPhone). If they made AirDrop open for everyone and apps would start getting better on Android. That would make it easier to switch to a more fun phone like the S24 Ultra. Or am I wrong at some point?
Most people are on android? And do you really need photography and editing apps? They do exist on android just the same as on iOS but 99% of people don’t need those. Samsung does have quick share witch works like airdrop but only between Samsung or android devices.
@nickackermanchannel It works great just fine with no lags at all. Granted that it is not supported anymore, but still works as it should. Bought it in June 2021.

Got the s24 for father's day. And as a long time, team Samsung who loves my Samsung s8 ultra tab. The phone didn't disappoint.
Nice! The phone is incredible and can do more than just be a phone! Enjoy it!
Can you give me a download link for the s24ultra wallpaper?
ergonomics and design wise iphone is amazing. For all the other points you have made an excellent review. Value especially if someone waits a little bit, Samsung is the better phone. From a iphone pro max 15 user
How did you remove the navigation bar at the bottom? I'm on One UI 6.1 and I don't like seeing it.
Navigation bar then select Swipe gestures
Good lock app
How people be this stupid and ignorant. Explore the settings bruh
The battery life is godly even though software wise android is better but honestly the ios 18 should suffice
iOS have always been superior…what are you on about?😂
Watching from 15 pro max proud of that. It reminds me when the 13 pro max came out and was and probably still is the best phone in the world
You're definitely correct about the cameras. if you took pictures from all three of those phones. you wouldn't know which phone took the picture.
I can’t charge it to below 100 or else I’ll have to charge it before the end of the day
I guess because I like the challenge of keeping it at 100% for the year, but I got sloppy with my charging!
Samsung😎
I use both of them currently for about six months
I'm really happy with my iPhone 15 Pro Max (1TB, Titanium Black) - I wish I would've got the Titanium Gray 🙃but Black was the only color option for the 1TB in stock at my local Apple Store back at release, haha. I also still got my S23 Ultra, which will get Galaxy AI as well and still has that amazing 10x telephoto lens 😁but I wish it would have the super slim bezels and flat display like the S24 Ultra, those are amazing 🙃
Kinda hints that you should not be in such a hurry to get a new device.
Same situation as you
SAMSUNG is Better
i want to buy the S24 Ultra
A great device indeed! More than great, incredible actually!
What about the iphone 15 pro max🥹@nickackermanchannel
No iPhones better and that never changes

How?
ahhh of course
During the commencement of the video, the battery level of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was at 75%, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a battery level of 100%. After a duration of 26 minutes and 58 seconds, it was observed that the iPhone maintained its battery level at 100%, whereas the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra experienced a depletion in its battery level, resulting in a remaining battery percentage of 72%.
Yeah, if you watch drain test video, iPhone tends to stay at 100% for a while before draining normally
Almost 30 minutes without draining isn't insane? 😱
@keepdreaming2767 iPhone stay at 100% for longer but then drains faster than the Samsung after dropping from 100. Watch the battery drain tests.
I don’t understand how Samsung never looks as vivid as iPhone. iPhone always just looks better for colors and visuals.
I was asking myself the same...
The reason why the screen on the iphone generally looks more vivid, warm, and pleasing to look at, is mostly because of its true tone, it helps make the screen look natural with the help of the lighting temperature
@@eys3d358 I never use True Tone
Samsung makes the iphone screen. I have both phones and in person the s24 ultras display is way better.
@@brendanfogel4573 it looks less refined 😫

Proud of my S24 ULTRA ❤
I just bought 15 pro max and i am happy with my choice. I already use it for 14 days now. Never regret with my choice 😂
Great device, either way, you go with these 2 phones you are winning!
@@nickackermanchannel these two phone is my main choice, it's really hard for me to make a decision which one i want to buy. Finally i decide to buy an iphone. So far, i love this phone. Very long lasting battery
I hate how much less Samsung is worth after 1 year. iPhone keeps the value much better which makes it cheaper to upgrade
Curently using a 15 pro max, i was thinking to upgrade to s24 ultra but i can get the 16 cheaper
What a BS 😂🤣
Same reason I always go for iPhones, Samsung loses its value so quick!
@@ardl7099wtf is funny? It’s true, clown!
@@ardl7099 this is common sense and not BS. you could literally see the base s24 ultra go for the same price as the 15 pro (not the pro max) in secondhand markets now, at least in my area
The thing is iphones holding more value makes it worse for trading in new androids but better for buying used androids
Iphone is an ok phone. Rounded corners, pill notch, lack of customizablity, and lack of s-pen are deal breakers.
maybe for YOU its a deal braker for no S pen. But the Iphone is way more than an ok phone bro it's the best of the best just like the s24
@AegisEdge that's why I posted what I did...
Please do app open close animation spamming on different phones
You can do a short on this pls
You should have done it when the one ui7 beta is out
Nick you do a lot of review on Samsung. You know there's natural look on the Samsung and looks like the iPhone. The saturation look is only for the classic nerd like me
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>iphones history😎,Samsung😎
😂😂😂😂
As a 10 years Samsung heavy user, I must admit that the Samsung flagships starting to lag after 1 year of usage. The OneUi is not as smooth as IOS! I had S24 iltra, then bought Z fold 5, and I hate that most of the apps are not optimized in Samsung, the same as in iPhone. I will definitely switch to the iPhone 16 PM this year!!!
I wish they’d ditch the Dynamic Island already it’s the main reason I’m switching to android
iOS is a lot more buggy as of recent years and the A17 Pro is a first gen chip, the 16 series with the A18 Pro may improve on that
Android any day, everyday
Samsung just need optimization and animation
Animation is adjustable. Go to settings and you can make it as "buttery smooth" as iphone
I just find the blur effect too much. iOS has it balanced tbh
Samsung😎
@@lisag18 where in the settings???
One UI is very optimized, wtf are you talking about?
90% of the videos i watch do net interfer with the notch.
I came from an Oneplus 7 Pro (no notch) to the 15PM and i really though i would hate the dynamic island but honestly it does not bother me at all, i even like it as a feature now
7 Pro was stunning display!
It's people's nature to adopt with everything when you have paid that huge amount of money. No one says their mistakes openly.😂
@@soumyamal72 I did make a mistake by buying an Pixel 8 Pro first (had it for 2 months between 15PM and 7P) and i tried to like it just like you said but i did not. Laggy scrolling, bugs and poor battery life killed the experience for me so i made the decision to switch again.
Honestly im really happy with the 15PM, just the keyboard (no number row) bothers me still.
Hope i can rock it for 4 years just as the 7P
@GAMERGEBITER I don't know why you tubers rave about Pixel every year. The camera pictures look horrible,.it seems laggy. It's overpriced .

Samsung display is the best in the market.I own both, the colors are punchy and vibrant,it’s a lot better than the one on iphone,on top of that it’s gorilla glass which is scratch resistant and it feels much better than the iphone’s that has a plastic feel.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 1TB 12GB RAM.
I don't think there was a 16GB of RAM of S24 Ultra
Yeah I was thinking of OnePlus 12
Why does Samsung tends to delay to pick up network reception in areas where the reception is poor?
It’s classic
Been watching your content for a while Nick i am still using my S20 FE.
Awesome! That was a great phone for the time! How is it working these days? I traded mine a while back!
