Alan, with your *vacuum allergy,* have you considered _immuno desensitization therapy?_
You're exposed to small amounts of vacuum under controlled circumstances, and as your immune system adapts, the dosage is increased.
It's completely worked for me with bee allergies, they got me up to a maintenance dose equivalent to one bee stings worth of venom, and I would get that monthly for several years till the adaptation held.
And I'm cured! I've gone from "the next sting will kill you- here's a EpiPen, good luck" to being stung and the only annoyance was being stabbed by the bee stinger.
    The venom had no effect.
See a qualified professional and they can order in some refined vacuum, and you can be injected with small doses of it, increasing to larger doses of vacuum being injected in your body as you learn to tolerate it.
    - good luck.

What about the Starhawk? The thing is literally built from salvages star destroyers, it was so tough that the imperials themselves were impressed at it tankiness. They needed specialized war heads to even damage the thing, and it was still able to evade capture while be chased by imperial star destroyers and it even lasted a bit after the core was critically damaged too.

It used to mean 'all show, no go' (Usually tastelessly) and much to be distinguished from making a Japanese car actually perform. :) In proper car terms terms, the Falcon is a 'sleeper.' Looks like not-much, (Apparently looks like a 'hooptie' in recent terms, in fact.) ...still kicks arse. :)

The Sun Crusher has several massive weaknesses. 1rst its slow. Although its nearly immune to energy its not immune to shooting it with solid objects. Also because of its slow speed you can easily capture it with tractor beams or tow cables. Hell you can probably even use a magnet to capture or even an ION weapon to disable it.

You don’t use a Death Star,a primary weapon to capture anything. Also a mirror that is clear enough can deflect most lasers, with a uniform molecular structure, that crystalline armor would be an excellent candidate for such a thing. Interestingly enough, such things would also be weak to kinetic weapons that center around solid objects.

Durability really has to be evaluated by weight class, and canonically the Imperial Star Galeon is the best in it's medium (200m long) class. Not only is it armored and shielded, it has internal antiboarding defenses and the cargo modules are all capable of escaping into hyperspace individually to keep their cargo out of rebel hands. If not getting exposed to vacume is your criteria for 'durable' then this takes the cake.
Another ship that should have gonten mentioned along with the Dreadnagut is the Carrack light cruiser, it was made by Demoreon

I have to wonder what the empty and maximum weights are of that Dreadnought class cruiser. It sounds like it would be as heavy as another ship at least 2-3 times its size.

Well actually, these things are so old and cost a lot of crew, the dreadnaughts that is. The Empire didn't refit them because they were great, the Empire refitted them because it was more cost-effective. They suffer from low power, mainly on shields and hyperdrive which makes them obsolete compared to bigger and newer ships. The hull isn't even that strong, not even the same of a Star Destroyer.

Naturally..my favorite, like so many, is the, Millennium FALCON, so a sci-fi character I made up, looks at it, and says, "I want one of those." Then finds out it's got modular parts systems, and is easily rebuilt by heaving whole sections replaced..and also, the options for the command sections to be on what ever side..left or right..that you wanted. Seeing this, she decided to make her, Millennium Phoenix, simetrically designed, with 2 command stations and of course, go overboard with many aftermarket..additional..."features".. annnd.. a bigger kitchen, because, as much as any humanoid hybrid of too many things to be sure what she is a female of... she likes to eat. More than that though, she likes to be sure what it is... at least...most of the time.
Also, when in a dangerous situation, it's comforting to know ...that your shield capacity collapses, your will give you lots of time to fix the problems ..including simply switching to backups, that are actually somebody's undelivered cargo.. in your undeclared hidden cargo holds. Not to mention, where she hid the cloaking system, she reinvented, for herself -(with it's own independent powerhouse, and similar power 3rd and 4th level redundant shield generator systems).
Even wanted to do the same thing with medical stations, as she did, with the command stations.
I think she squeaked it in, but I'm not sure.
Somebody let me know if she can do that with the medical stations please...and thank you.

I can’t tell you how much you can finagle with the medical stations but I think it’s a question of expertise. If she’s more familiar with the engineering of ships, she can make the room for it, bu I really don’t know how much power you’d have left after all the other extra systems. If she knows how the medical stations work, I can picture her making them more compact and energy efficient.
So she likes to eat and doesn’t know what species she is; do you know if the character is a test tube baby, was genetically modified, or is the result of multiple generations of orgies?

@@henrypaleveda7760 Well I am thrilled to hear that my girl's got a good chance of making our pheonex fly..with all insane extras.!! Thanks-!
As exactly what she is..at least almost half human..but has blue cats eyes..(with shades that change with her mood..or time of day). The rest is..at least very human like..but I know she can laugh off being blowtorched/flamethrowered..while still looking pretty..human. Like Han Solo, she's an escaped orphan from many places..including Corelia..hence her fondness for Corelian ships.
Of course..burning off her favorite outfit..will be short lived amusement..when turns her ability to make and direct her own LIGHTNING..to effortlessly looking..instafry who ever did it. Not to say that she's got an anger management problem..but she does like to get things done dramatically..on occasion..to make clear that she has limits to her patience..on certain matters.
She also is equally immune to extreme cold..and herself, being hit by all forms of electrical attacks/discharges..mostly. Typically looking like most do in shows, getting hit by a tazer..but then shaking it off..literally, just barely seems at all fased by it..complaining, "That's irritating. Don't do that again".
Oh yes..she also has slightly cat-like teeth..usually not seems unless she gives any kind of teeth revealing expression. Otherwise..she easily mistaken for merely human..with particular piloting and hunting abilities. Even more so since having her little pretty elf like ears bobbed..making them look more like common human ears. (Not that it reduced her ability to earsight like flying cave creatures..some of which..don't even have eyes).
Oh yeah..and she has preposterously sharp all-ranges sight in all light settings; if there's slightest starlight..to her it may as well be day time..midday..with no clouds.

@@scottbraun2457 what I'm getting from her personality is: flair, a decent curiosity (or considerably intense in her interests, these are the two reasons I came up with for being so specialized in her learning), temper (tempered temper so that it is not necessarily an issue but is a better tool), and a sense for the dramatic, leaning towards using understatement as a coping mechanism.
Physical attributes being well attuned to her senses, broad sense array, considerable durability, durability largely contributed to by temperature change resistance or a general tolerance of thermal fluctuation.
      questiuons aside:
How much of her story do you have planned (will she ever get overwhelmed with loud sounds or board of white noise and the like; does she normally wear goggles or something to filter out he majority of light)?

@@henrypaleveda7760 mmm. Actually, she has the general appearance of a female Han Solo and Lando Calrisian..except no capes. Lavishly dressed for bed, but, scruffy for work -but not exactly dirty. Solo, wasn't ever filthy, just never formal. She typically likes to look good..alone, or for her ladies.
A growing up on the noisy streets..and occasionally in equally loud jungles, static noise isn't an issue. As for the eyes, they adjust really fast to irratic changes..city lights to streaking through Casheek jungle/forest trees on an overcharged speederbike..(naturally..with reflexes need for irrationally faster than sanity maneuvering through tree branches like a tiny bird or bug).

In vacuum, shouldn't the pressure go from the inside to the outside, ya know, contrary to underwater?
Because usually when there is a lot of something, in this case GAS, it should go where there is little of it, which is everywhere except in the ship.
The ships therefore should be rather unstable?
