It would’ve been nice to see Lando commanding clone wars/republic era Star Destroyers in Rise of Skywalker. Tie all the films together. And since their shields are weaker it would’ve added tension to the fight scenes.
Really a repurposed Acclamator would be better, and logistically simpler. Redo the interior, or even just wheel in the medibays as cargo. It can take enough of a hit not to be a sitting duck, and it's the fastest thing around. Besides in the turkey shoot department, it doesn't stand out from a regular ship. Post Empire, getting your hands on one would make you even more of a scoundrel than Han Solo with the Falcon. You could "scoundrel" in commerical quantities.
If it's a medical ship, it's not really meant to be used for frontline combat, so it's kind of a waste of resources to use a 'faster' hyperdrive on it, unlike combat vessels which need to get to their location as fast as possible, as every second matters for military strategies. On the other hand, a medical frigate generally has the facilities to at the very least stabilize all but the most serious of conditions, so it doesn't exactly need to rush to a medical station.

In Legends there were also Eta Actis Interceptors used by the Rebels. Since as I said it was in Legends I can see why it wasn't listed here. Though it might still be possible and the Disney cannon hasn't released a story that they do yet since were used by the Resistance according to Wookiepedia. The Eta Act is is the Clone Wars Era ship I would use. My favorites that you have listed are the Detla 7 and the Arc 170.

The *LucreHulk* would be the single most useful ship to the Rebellion. A couple of these fitted out could be used as mobile bases, making them impossible to catch. The heavy droid automation would allow a minimal crew requirement, and the fact that it was a long utilised commercial design would make spare parts and maintenance simple. Forget Hoth or Yavin base, just one of these fitted out would be suitable, and it could relocate every once in a while to some backwater, not only making tracing it even more difficult, but allowing the Rebels to move their base of operations to different regions to take advantage of Imperial weak spots. And if the Rebels suspect at any moment that one of their operatives had been compromised, they could've jumped and left a hidden ship nearby to redirect any Rebels returning to base. Forget using them in direct combat. Perhaps that's why the Empire junked them, since otherwise they are a fantastic trade and logistics ship. The *ARC-170* Would be useful for Intelligence gathering, as was it's purpose, and for quick _hit and run raids_ against soft targets - particularly imperial convoys and lone ships. A few ARC-170's could decimate a Corvette or a outpost if they got in and got out before any Ties could be launched. And if there were no Ties … party. And since it used Turbolasers for damaging large targets that means less ordinance resupply than a Y-Wing, that must use bombs and torpedoes, which must be replaced. And then there's the *Acclamator,* the Empire made a mistake getting rid of these, they could have just released a updated version, and increased the number of variants. It's a ship so useful, that if the right waivers and exemptions could be obtained it would make a brilliant Freighter, particularly for time sensitive cargos or long range runs where quick turnaround allows more runs. Nick one and make a fortune in the unknown regions. Or just use them after the Empire falls if any are still able to be salvaged. I'm surprised no one reverse engineered the design, or at least salvaged the hyperdrives from them (if you ran a quasi legal ship of the appropriate tonnage, a second hand Acclamator hyperdrive would be worth its weight in Bacta). It's a excellent raider and also counter raider. If the Empire had fitted them out like the Rebels to be mini carriers, they could've had Ties quickly respond to any trouble spots. You really need to do a video on possible uses and users of the post Clone Wars Acclamator (besides wasted as a imperial slave transport - although less transit time does make sense).
Yoi just made me realise how useful droids would be to the rebels image a bunch o vulture droids acting as cannon fodder for the more valuable y-wings and x wings
I like how you incorporated he Black Hawk and Hind helicopters, although the LAAT seems more like a Hind as the Mi24 was meant to be basically a sky Infantry Fighting Vehicle being able to carry I want to say a dozen soldiers.
I have this weird good feeling about LAATs and such fighting Empire era forces. Like, these ships are out of their time, away from the army that eventually abandoned them, and yet, here they are, still serving their purpose. I hate seeing good machinery rust away just because nobody wants to show it any love.
I would probably have a modified ARC-170, ditch the copilot and rear gunner seats, mount some additional weapons like missiles and faster firing blasters and maybe shorten the wings for more maneuverability and lastly bump up the hyperdrive so that it can actually out run an enemy ship
@@valravnsshadow9422 same reason it works when you slap tie fighter "wings" on an X-wing in place of the standard S foils. The wings aren't needed in space and just make the craft a larger target

Correct me if I'm wrong, but everything I've read about the Mandalorian Kom'rk class fighter/transport says that the word Kom'rk means Gauntlet in Mandoa. The ship shown in the clips from Rebels was Maul's personal Gauntlet fighter, called "The Nightbrother". Please feel free to call me out if I'm wrong, it's just my favorite ship from Star Wars aside from the Venator class star destroyer
For the Empire those clone warships felt disgrace having rebel scum touching them. Z95 headhunter was easy to kill weak armor and weak shields a tie fighter with a couple of blast will blast them since the reason they was heavily modify
I just realized that Lucas was even closer to his torpedo bomber concept with the design of the 170. Thought the 170 is kinda more like a P-61 with the range of the P-38, but GFFA =/= Earth.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Rebels had gotten ahold of at least one, if not more, Providence-class warships. The former flagships of the Confederacy, armed to the teeth with turbolasers and also a massive hangar supporting the Rebellion's fighter-based tactics, would've been a good addition to the Alliance as something that could stand up to an opposing Victory-class warship and, with a Rebel snubfighter compliment, could've put even Imperial-class warships at risk. And if the Rebellion could get their hands on Vulture Droid fighters and Tri-Droid fighters, they'd have a screen against the Empire's waves of TIE Fighters. Then again, there's something to be said about the Providence the Rebels used called Rebel One... namely all of the above points...

8:54 is that the fan designed Y wing 2 long range bomber/recon ship by EC Henry?
I believe it is.
It's definitely the same design as EC Henry's redesigned Y-wing and after a Google search this exact image popped up on the first page.
I assume the editor went to Google for images and didn't give it a second thought with no real ill intent
Two others that the Alliance used: the Bellbulab (In Battlefront 2005 it's known as a CIS Strike Bomber) and the N1 Starfighter.
You should do a video over some things that the gar used that aren't usually what you'd think of but without them they wouldn't have won for example talk about the medical stations or like some of their blasters that are not as well known or just things that you dont immediately think of when you think of what the gar used in war
I have always liked the ARC-170 it has a brutal grace about it.
I love the transitions They make me want to play Karateka
Generation Tech: didn't mention Venator class star destroyer
Captain Shack: "let me introduce myself"
I hope Din ends up getting his hands on a gauntlet that would be very cool
liked for the automotive/moto comparisons
ALL of these ships I MOST DEFINITELY like, but I like the ARC-170.
And The Resistance Y-Wing as well.
My favorites would have to be the Y-Wing and the Acclamator
The Y-Wing being the BTL-A4
I’d think the Arc 170 would be modified to have only 2 cockpits because of the lack of troops.
Could have talked about the Vulture droids being used by Cham Syndulla to destroy Vader's Star Destroyer too
They were not widely used by the Rebellion in general unlike other the Clone Wars Era ships.
@@enderdrone6432 If you count Separatist holdouts as rebel cells they were
Always awesome to hear news about the thieving rebels.
Stay healthy
Now this here is something interesting!
I like how you incorporated he Black Hawk and Hind helicopters, although the LAAT seems more like a Hind as the Mi24 was meant to be basically a sky Infantry Fighting Vehicle being able to carry I want to say a dozen soldiers.
The Venators and The Acclamators of course
I want a LAAT gunship!
I would have loved to see arc 170s in the galactic civil war(canon)
It'd be neat if future media shows rebels using some CIS vehicles and equipment, either salvaged or new ones built by them.
The B1s were designed to be able to be cheaply and easily mass manufactured, so it's not too hard to imagine a factory being converted by the rebels.
I have this weird good feeling about LAATs and such fighting Empire era forces. Like, these ships are out of their time, away from the army that eventually abandoned them, and yet, here they are, still serving their purpose. I hate seeing good machinery rust away just because nobody wants to show it any love.
Love your helmet bro 🤙🏽
8:58
*talking about the reble retro fit Bwing*
*shows EC Henry's Bewing model*
I would probably have a modified ARC-170, ditch the copilot and rear gunner seats, mount some additional weapons like missiles and faster firing blasters and maybe shorten the wings for more maneuverability and lastly bump up the hyperdrive so that it can actually out run an enemy ship
How would reducing wing size/length increase maneuverbility?
@@valravnsshadow9422 same reason it works when you slap tie fighter "wings" on an X-wing in place of the standard S foils. The wings aren't needed in space and just make the craft a larger target
Cool to see Peltas and T6 shuttles at Exegol
2:00 I always did wonder why in Battlefront 2 (not by EA) why the rebel transport was the clone wars transport. XD
“The Y-Wing is the gray van of the Star Wars universe”-Alan 2021
well, the falcon did have a class 0.5 hyperdrive, which was a bit faster than the class 0.6 or 1.0 hyperdrive.
And there was one Lucrehulk class that was used as a fighter carrier in the first failed attack on the first Death Star (featured in the book called Death Star)
The only thing I really learned from this video is that Hera syndulla is way more of a badass than I ever knew. She really carried the rebellion.
Don’t forget the Venator named The Liberation which was used by the rebels under the command of Rahm Kota
And if your a dolphin, you're watching in hope of finding a weak spot in within GT defences.
@Nathan #7 sounds like something a dolphin who has infiltrated us would say...
I love the music they use for the background. I need to find what it is.
I’ve always liked the Arc-170
For the Empire those clone warships felt disgrace having rebel scum touching them. Z95 headhunter was easy to kill weak armor and weak shields a tie fighter with a couple of blast will blast them since the reason they was heavily modify
Imagine if the Rebellion got their hands on a couple of Venator-class Star Destroyers.
Honestly I wished they used more AT-TE’s. Probably my favourite vehicle in all of Star Wars.
Jj honestly I liked one statement of an imperial officer: I would like to destroy a rebel ship that the empire didn't pay for
I just realized that Lucas was even closer to his torpedo bomber concept with the design of the 170.
Thought the 170 is kinda more like a P-61 with the range of the P-38, but GFFA =/= Earth.
I own the arc 170 as a 3.75 vehicle but it is awesome!
Palatine knew about the Yuzon Vong. He was trying to build up the galaxies military in preparation for this
3:05 as a ship it sucks but as a mobile space station its actually really quite good ied love to have one of these if i was in the setting.
The LAAT actually had 4 continuous heavy beam laser cannons....two about a foot from the wing tips as well as the two clone manned spheres
Ngl i think you should do mandalorian ships next
Would have been nice to explore the decomissioned ships on Bracca.
My favorite ship from the clone wars used by the rebellion is the Z95 Headhunter
I hope u feel better 👍
I is happy with car analogies
I would take the LAAT gunship, Acclamator assault transport, and the Pelta class frigate.
