I really liked this episode Felt different. Nor everything needs to be "the most powerful navy, deadliest monster, ect" this is pleasantly relatable and is a fun more civilian look at sci fi
I'd like to give a big, heartfelt thankyou to Alan, American Ben, British Ben and all others involved with this channel. It can't be easy to keep thinking up new ideas for episodes but you keep doing it and helping us all through this weird and lonely time. I can't speak for others but I find it incredibly comforting and reassuring to be able to nerd out and escape to a galaxy I love and to know that many others around the world are doing the same. I think it's fair to say that we're all struggling through this and it's very inspiring come on to youtube and find a new episode to disappear into. You guys are really stepping up and I thank you (along with Eckhart's Ladder, The Critical Drinker, etc). Humanity Represent! ☺ Thanks y'all
The T-6 is the best airspeeder simply because after just flying *it* you're also a fully qualified X-Wing pilot. What other airspeeder trains you to become a snubfighter pilot capable of _destroying the largest ship ever_ (at the time) and is freely available on the civilian market.
that was because both the T-16 and the T-65 X-Wing were built by Incom Corporation and had very similar controls. The T-47 Snowspeeder was built by them as well if I remember correctly. They are just generally good with nimble, smaller craft.

TIE DEFENDER hands down for single pilot: that fighter was able to dominate everything in its class and beyond. This ship could out maneuver and out run most interceptors, shields on par with some capital ships, as well as having enough combined ordinance and firepower to take down several cursiers and frigates. The fighter is op it could do any and everything, it could take hits, dish hits, and avoid them all together. Not to mention it had a hyperdrive making it effective without capital ship support. 10,000 of these multi role armoured interceptors would've been far more potent than one sitting duck battlestation (looking at you tarkin) Thrawn for life
The one problem was that they were only ray shielded, not particle shielded. This ment that projectile weapons could still tear right through them (I'm using the book shadows of mindor as my source)

Han had to eject it during a job gone bad when he was being chased by an Imperial patrol. The real escape pod(s) are located on the sides of the YT-1300 (the two cylindrical sides of the main chassis). Also, in the event of a major emergency (i.e. total and complete failure of the ship), the main cockpit could also detach and become it's own escape pod. Just thought I'd clarify that.

We thought they were harmless and let them be. Less than an hour afterwards, the rest of my platoon had been brutally murdered and converted into armour, and I, whilst alive, was missing an arm and a photocepter. When the time came for you to talk about freighters, I definitely agree with you on the VCX-100. I know "The Falcon" is beloved, but ever since I first read about "The Ghost", I thought to myself that it was a better ship overall.
A single tie defender could've taken out all of red and gold squadrons (minus plot armor) quicker than the combined efforts of the servel ties and one tie advanced seen in a new hope. Imagine if the money used for the death star was used to mass produce those beasts. Id take a squadron of tie defender over almost any capital ship.
Can u make a tutorial of how to get out of the lower sectors of coruscant? There’s too mush crime and let’s be honest there’s pretty mush no way to succee there! I’d like to go to other planets and not only be stuck on coruscant!
umbaran starfighter: intuitive controls, kinda like a gundam, shock proof frame, really good shields and powerful energy weapons. only downside is no physical cockpit.
He forgot to mention that the mc-80s had a two bridges as we saw in episode 8. Kinda disappointed he didnt as that is a great design to the ship. As a capital ship is dead in the water without a bridge, shields, and engines. So having a backup bridge is nice so you can still take the helm and leave the battle for repairs.
I don't think unions exists in the Star Wars galaxy. -All those highrise walkways with no railings. An earthling safety-manager would get a fit seeing the working conditions and potentially lifethreatening hazard areas everywhere. Its daunting how nobody in the whole galaxy ever thought out the use of simple railings to lean against, watching out into the various abyss'es. Children safety? Pffft. They'll prolly wind up as slaves anyways.

The millennium falcon do have an escape pods, it's under the belly aft, on a sort of conveyor belt system. That pod in front are something Lando added for extra comfort, normally there would be cargo there
I read a Han Solo Book a while back that isn't cannon anymore, but damn in that the Falcon had everything. Better Hyperdrive than Imperial Star Destroyers, Military-Grade Cannons, better than Military-Grade Long Range Scanner Dish, Fast sunlight Engines, Crazy Internal stuff, etc.

For frigate sized ships I would have picked the Dreadnaught class cruiser, shes heavily armored, has no exposed bridge and is decently armed. Her one bad point is she’s described as a flying bunker
The mention of the Mandalorian transport's wings reminds me: a couple years ago, a couple 40K fan channels looked into seeing how airworthy various factions' fighters were. They booked some time in a wind tunnel, and set up various models, and estimated what sort of flight characteristics the various craft would have if they depended on their wings for lift and maneuverability. TL,DR version is that pretty much only the Orks' aircraft would work well as actual aircraft, since their most common attack craft is basically a MiG-21 with some crude armor plating bolted randomly on. The rest had wings way out of proportion, either too large or too small for their frames - or were bricks that would only ever fly by sci-fi tech, as in the case of the Thunderhawk gunship or the Caestus Assault Ram. With long, narrow wings like that, the Mando 'fighter' would probably do well in fast, straight flight, but its maneuverability at low speeds or without repulsorlifts and vectored thrust probably suck. On top of that, in an atmosphere, air resistance along the wings' widest surface would resist them spinning around more than the central pod, so trying the spinning trick might end up with the wings staying straight and level while the command pod just spins in place.
It may not be Star Wars but a borg cube. It's pretty damn safe no isolated critical systems in one area can move in any Direction instantly and can adapt to virtually all weapons and can regenerate any damage over time

Freighter, I would have gone with the YT-2600 myself. But I do think the YT-1300 IS a good choice, at least in legends. It was the main freighter for a few hundred years.

Falcon may be unreliable in minor incidents but overall great track record. All the way from Clone Wars to Final Order. Also six escape pods or so near the back.
Ok so like what if you guys did a planet profile series where you would go over the history and population and location of a planet in the star wars universe because honestly I watch alot of your videos and other star wars lore channels and they talk about where battles happen in the universe but I dont really have an idea where these planets really are in the wider scope of things
My son Havoc 14 and I Havvoc each have a Krait MK II. Family oriented with 3 Laser beam cannons and 2 Multi cannon on gimbals. Military armor with grade level 6 shields modified for extra strength I enjoy the coffee maker. My cup was a birthday gift. It has a magnetic bottom keeping my coffee very warm. Spill proof. My wife loves me Especially after coming home with millions of credits to pay for her life style. Notice not my life style. I'm simple Good bed, good food, love once a year wheather or not I want it. I rent a fighter pilot for my own fighter escort. I love flying my Krait MkII. She's my reason for living.

lol, 40K Space Marines do seem to have an obsession with murdering the air. Except the Dark Angels, their fighters aren't too bad by 40K standards.

Falcon may be unreliable in minor incidents but overall great track record. All the way from Clone Wars to Final Order. Also six escape pods or so near the back.
The vents? Those aren't escape pods. The pods are those rounded details on the sides of the ship.

Ok so like what if you guys did a planet profile series where you would go over the history and population and location of a planet in the star wars universe because honestly I watch alot of your videos and other star wars lore channels and they talk about where battles happen in the universe but I dont really have an idea where these planets really are in the wider scope of things

My son Havoc 14 and I Havvoc each have a Krait MK II. Family oriented with 3 Laser beam cannons and 2 Multi cannon on gimbals. Military armor with grade level 6 shields modified for extra strength I enjoy the coffee maker. My cup was a birthday gift. It has a magnetic bottom keeping my coffee very warm. Spill proof. My wife loves me Especially after coming home with millions of credits to pay for her life style. Notice not my life style. I'm simple Good bed, good food, love once a year wheather or not I want it. I rent a fighter pilot for my own fighter escort. I love flying my Krait MkII. She's my reason for living.
If I had to go with any one ship it would probably be the YV-929 Armed Freighter, AKA "The Flying Brick".
