Stealthed weponry, a slow class 2 hyperdrive. This would make a ship with the name mud in the name. Overwhelming boring to imperial inspecter's. So it should get spys onto a imperial world eassily. And avoid much security scrutiny as possible. Could carry billions of gigabits of security data in a chip the the piolets belt. Or ring. Pirates would be descusted just looking at it. And not bother to rob it. A gentle force push here and their could work wounders for a jedi spy. And their should be lots of flying junk heeps in the star wars univers. Just as chop shop vehicles, and scrap yard vehicles are produced and sold here on the earth so the fantasy galaxy should have them too. Rember the ugly tie fighter. A ugly freighter, or scote ship should exzist. Lots of stuff on the cheap makes sense.
Don't worry. When that day comes, he will instead make a series about all the ships that were *PROPERLY DESIGNED* to actually include toilets, that we never knew about due to them never being used on-screen. Yes. You need to put toilets on your ships. Shocking, right? AND YET ALMOST EVERYONE FORGETS TO DO THIS!
I love how the Quarren Gunship absolutely looks like something that could have been cobbled together from model kits in the 1980s, with the heavy riveting details and the gunpods straight off an attack helicopter...
That's because the Quarren Gunship is based on the ship from 1:15 in this video. Probably made in a similar way that it would have originally, heavily referencing the Harrier. The gun pods are actual missile pods that are sometimes equipped to Harrier jets, this guy is so good at what he does.

I'm actually wondering why they aren't designing ships like that. Cramp some parts together, take a blurry-as-hell picture and let someone who wasn't part of the process until that point come up with an idea for how it looks. I'd argue that doing this would provide the latter person with a bit of inspiration to kick-start their imagination while also giving them as much creative freedom as possible since their aren't primed.

I agree. You can see a bit of Mon Cal in the rear section but there was a lot of other things that were quite different. Something you'd expect for a species that share a world with them.

My headcanon (because yes, your ships exsist in my head canon) is that these were in service in the CIS, and that these may of been some of the only CIS ships the rebellion used. Also I'd love to see these in service in a droid navy

I'm wondering if the gunships ion bolt launcher could be converted to fire proton bolts for aggressive operations. With that said; I'd hate to be aboard an opposing Republic corvette when facing these vessels.

Curious. We don't get to see many Quarren ships in general, so this is a big topic to finally get into. You nailed the aesthetics really well too.

A lot of the CIS ships are actually Quarren designed fun fact. The recusant and Subjugater class cruiser were both Quarren designed.
