FF, That opening scene: drone, van, river, bridge, train w/ steel wheels as the background sound is outstanding! The best I’ve noticed, tho I’m sure there’s plenty of subtleties I’ve missed. Stoked for your trip to the States.

His video where he made it from all his peaks last year or the year before was legendary IMHO, it was definately worthy of an award..! It also would be an excellent video to show people who are near the end of life to show them the wonders of things, possibly getting them at peace with their journey and NO, I'm not religious in any way shape or form, but that video was epic! IF you are religious it would demostate the wonders of the creator for sure ....amazing.

Heya Foresty (Forest)! In my free moments from being a full time foresty forest fan, I work as a Park Ranger with the Bureau of Land Management in central Utah. You have passed through our management area (The San Rafael Swell) at least once in a previous bike-packing video which was very cool to see. What great news that you are going to be down here exploring the beautiful American desert this winter, and I want to invite you back to our corner or nowhere. Off Highway Vehicle users are our largest user base and it would be a real treat to have someone like yourself see what we have to offer and provide feedback on how to better manage this amazing place.
    Thanks,
    Steve

It was announced that the border is opening in November. We're planning on taking the van back down to Mexico after missing the season last winter.

I love that your videos include hiking, cooking, bonfires etc. You are just an all around great guy/video . One of my favourite You tubes to watch for this 75 year old lady. Have you ever come across a bear or cougar??? and is it in any of your videos? I think I've watched them all and haven't seen any.

As an Alaskan, I always find it quite astonishing that all you have to protect yourself from bears is a can of bear spray. I know they have a high chance of being effective but good lord

Nice episode. The river crossings can be made easier with a pair of hip waders to don and doff. A cheap set works great as you are not spending much time in them. Just stash them somewhere on the river bank for the trip home. Staying dry and warm is a good thing :).

Just a suggestion: since Halloween is nearing, how about you talk about spookiest moments you've had through all the traveling?
