Beetlejuice is amazing, the practical effects, acting, writing and direction are awesome. And Michael Keaton rules as The Ghost With the Most title character.
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH. it’s like watching the movies for the first time. And you have such a brotherly love for each other. I wish I had a friend I was close to, like either one of you!
I was so shocked when he said “nice fucking model” I looked at the rating and it’s rated PG in America. I’m like “damn things were different back then lol. Enjoyed the video guys.
It wasn't in the script. Keaton was yelling at the set designer because the tree wasn't supposed to fall over. It was so damn funny that they kept it in the film.
Believe it or not, in a rare technicality, a single F-word is *still* allowed to be said not only in PG-13 films, but *PG* films, too. The most recent PG film "Leave no Trace" had a tattoo on lead actor Ben Foster's body that said "Bad Mother(you know the rest)". It was 2018 when the film released. It is also the only known PG film to have the derivitive MFer.
The version of the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead you want to see is the American theatrical cut. It runs 2 hours & 7 minutes. That's the version Romero himself edited and preferred. If you're looking at the 2 & a half hour version that's a early cut that was shown before the movie got properly finished.
You missed the classic "The fly"-line! When Beetlegeuse drags the fly under, it cries "help meeee, help meee". But you haven't seen the original version of that film, yet. Maybe next Halloween?
Someone needs new socks lol The actor who plays the dad is a weirdo, he was busted for offering teenage boys money for nude photos and he's currently on the sex offenders list. Their death didn't really makes sense since they both had their windows down so it would have been easy to escape the car. How can you be unsure about Catherine O'hara , she's a comedy legend. Michael Keaton was known for comedy before he did Batman The actor who played Otto apparently had the dayo song played at the end of his funeral
Beetlejuice not being allowed to say his name or spell it himself makes it so much harder to say his name. Yet he finds a way to get them to say it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Another one for you list: Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" -- an excellent spoof rof on classic horror tropes from the early days, and of course, a spoof on Frankenstein!
Yeah the holes with the dirt would drive me crazy! That’s why it’s good to get socks with contrasting bottoms. Especially, if you wear white socks. White with grey soles than you don’t notice the dirt.
I saw this movie when I was 6 years old and, while it's not "horror", it did scare the sh!t out of me with some of its imagery. Still became one of my favourite dark/horror comedy.
I think I have seen ‘Beetlejuice’ the original enough growing up for two lifetimes. My sister was obsessed with the movie especially in October. However, I watched it again for comparison of the new movie. And I surprisingly like the second movie ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.’
Love to see sexy Tom and adorable Sean watching an 80’s classic. Tom has a wonderful laugh to listen to. Gotta love a show before everyone embraced collectivism.
I can think of a couple of silent movies that inspired scenes or shots in this movie. There is an angular hallway that the Adam and Barbara walk through on the way to their appointment with Juno, which you didn't include in your video, that is inspired by the set design of the 1920 movie The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Also, in the scene in which Lydia goes to summon Beetlejuice, the shot of him sitting on a couple of tombstones ( 22:49 ) is inspired by a scene from the 1926 movie Faust.
This world is insane becomes the craziest part of this video is that there is a 1000% chance that some gooner on the internet would pay money for Shauns ripped up socks 1:34
State of them socks lol
Was going to comment on that too, we need a sock go fund me campaign!
Exactly... I could never. No way. Can't stand the feeling of holes, or in this case, craters, in my socks. LOL.
Loving the whole is Sean's sock. Show the feet for free 🤣 Seen Beetlejuice over a 1000 times. Favorite movie of all time
What are ya'll talking about?
Great to see you guys back with reactions : )
Jerry and Steve are good kids.
Beetlejuice is amazing, the practical effects, acting, writing and direction are awesome. And Michael Keaton rules as The Ghost With the Most title character.
Careful Shaun, you might get a sock in them holes.

You can say Fuck once in a non sexual context and get away with PG. Beetlejuice wasn't going to ACTUALLY fuck the model.

I saw this at a drive-in theatre in '88. The whole drive-in was howling with laughter. Enjoy!
So glad you guys are back with the reactions!

I get so stoked when I see a new reaction from you guys crop up. This is a good one.
Shaun, your socks look like they were on the losing end of a run in with a bear.
Beetlejuice not being allowed to say his name or spell it himself makes it so much harder to say his name. Yet he finds a way to get them to say it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
NOW WATCH THE SEQUEL!!!
When considering Romero, don’t forget the often overlooked Martin 1978. It was Romero’s favorite of his films.
Beetlejuice is an excellent example of an "and then this happens..." type of film that works because it's so much fun
Don't miss out on "Little Shop of Horrors" -- the musical version, of course!
Another one for you list: Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" -- an excellent spoof rof on classic horror tropes from the early days, and of course, a spoof on Frankenstein!

Otto also played associate Bob in demolition man and honestly seems to be the same guy.

Winona Ryder was 15 y/o when they started filming this in '87 (b.1971).
Wow,l didn’t realize she was underage when she made this.
@@BarryHart-xo1oyThat's an odd way to phrase thet. Especially considering who she's staring with.
9:14 Well, he is a registered sex offender. So, you have every right to feel weirded out by him
Just, look up Jeffrey Jones
Thanks to Shaun/Tom and Tom/Shaun! 🪦 I think y'all will enjoy the sequel, too.
Let's chip in and get the guys some new socks!

FARGLE GARFLE GURG-NURG.
It's pity they had to cut out the scene when Barbara punched the Sandworm, i really wanted to see their blind reaction to that scene.😔
