    • @AkuraTheAwesome
      @AkuraTheAwesome 3 года назад +10

      Yeah, you're right about that.
      The Kamikaze attacks in WW2 were also famously kind of terrible but because so few pilots were returning after the tactic was used, Japanese officers didn't know how unsuccessful they were and kept doing it.
      The tactic pretty much only served to frighten allied soldiers but even that wasn't worth it because they lost so many pilots and planes.

      During the 1st invasion, Mongolians died by “Strong wind” (not typhoon or tornado)
      Their army lost to the samurai and took a rest in Tsushima on the way to escape from Japan,where there was a big wind. (Tsushima was occupied earlier and used as a relay point)

They've more than made up for it and should actually start having some pride in their heritage again. Japan is bad in the opposite direction, but have also paid quite a bit of reparations to Korea.

      The rape of China was far worse. I'd rather be vaporized into a shadow on the wall then be forced to watch soldiers rape my wife and kids then impale then with bayonets, before burning down my neighborhood.
      Sometimes they forced the men to do those things to their own homes and family for them, then killed the men anyways.
