Salem sent me,you seem very knowledgeable about the 3800 tune

To each his own I suppose. Salem has mechanical knowledge and experience exceeding my own as I've not attempted anything more complicated than an upper intake manifold removal. To compensate for this I've simply spent more time learning DHP and HPTuners. Of course being well rounded is a goal I'm sure we both share in common.

I’m assuming you ordered the 3in to 2.5in downpipe? Love the video, this would have been great to see when I started on my modding journey. I currently just installed an intercooler on my 98 gtp, and I’ve been trying to learn about tuning on my 07 gt. I would recommend adding the transgo shift kit at your next transmission service to replace the stock springs in the accumulator for 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. I haven’t watched your other videos yet so if you already mentioned that forgive me

Hey Ivan. I used a 2.5" exhaust, not because you should necessarily but because it's acceptable for the power level and has the added bonus of being the cheapest solution, as you would not need to adapt or convert anything. The accumulators in these transmissions are somewhat flimsy so installing a more robust metal one is a good idea, although shifts can still be firmed and quickened electronically if you don't want to drop the pan.

I have a 2000 SS that I wanna mod and have started and I'm gonna follow you since I have a Gen V Blower I wanna put on and other mods etc. I have the K&N CAI with heat shield on it now and new downpipe from ZZP

That's a good start and this will basically drop KR and allow more timing so to see the bulk of the benefits you'll want to tune your spark tables.
