  • In part 3 of the electric turbo camaro project we take a look at the long awaited mechanical installation, which was way more trouble than it should have been. We'll look at the physical setup, all the bells and whistles and how everything ought to work once it's fully up and running. So stay tuned for the 4th and final episode because that's when everything comes together and we'll find out if all this effort paid off!

    U could probably fit a Y piece straight off the intake manifold and have a vacuum flap on it u could even just make it a smaller diameter to make up the stock flow as the turbo is restrictive but u really only have to add say 2maybe 2.5” extra of free diameter airflow for the NA good work though, I wanna see POV drive and then a Dyno Na vs electric ect . Another idea is fit a exhaust cutout on the Y pipe for NA then u don’t have to do any installing it’s an electric valve open close off ur car keys

      Thanks, actually most of what you mentioned went back and forth in my mind when deciding how to do this setup. Much of the rationale behind the final decision had to do with the really bad experiences I had just paying people to do the work.At some point I had to make a concession just to make sure the project got done at all. Once I succeed with this car however I may upgrade it or try it on another car in the way you describe.
