Nope, not until there are direct consequences imposed on those who write and vote to pass them. You see, they know that at worse, a court will strike it down which is no skin off their backs. I say at minimum, it should be law that if Congress passes a bill and a courts strike it down, then all those who voted to pass the bill should be held financially responsible for both paying back the tax money used to try to defend it and all legal fee incurred by the plaintiffs in the case.

Whether it fails or not doesnt matter, congress shouldn't be attempting to write laws that intentionally infringe in constitutionally protected rights that have been upheld time after time in scotus. There need to penalties for elected officials who attempt to attack our rights. Congress also shouldn't be allowed to write laws that exempt themselves from prosecution . The system is broken and we the people need to take a stand and fix it.
