lmao I have not once seen a hornet on the road
Me either now that you mention it 🤣
As crazy as it sounds, I’ve seen 5 in my area.
Me either
I saw one. It looked like the car version of skinny jeans on men.
I've only seen one of those ugly things out there.
The government really messed up with this 😂. The average person or real car enthusiast don’t want to purchase ev cars
They didn’t mess up. This is part of the control trip they are on.
Elect Donald Trump as he understands that nobody wants an ELECTRIC car!
True. Now its cool to buy 80s and 90s cool cars.
It's all part of the destruction of America. Government knows ev's will put the big three out of business. Imagine the hit to economy when the big three fail.
@@johnbeckham1483 Yes what this country needs is someone with a lifetime history of sexual assault and criminally defrauding people and businesses to lead it lol . Things are bad enough with the "normal" political crooks now in office without bringing that train wreck of a human being back into the picture .
A lot of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and can barely afford groceries. It's a new world. Luxury items are over
Because the manuf thought they were gonna crush it with these cars that cost obscene amounts and then rising interest rates.
The point here is not the fact about EVs are not selling - it is that fact the manuf wanted to screw the consumer because they thought they could get away with it by saying “inflation, inflation, inflation”
Now they feel the pain because the interest rates ALSO went up. And the
Customer is saying fuk that. I’ll wait.
People are paying more for all the other shit too. Insurance and food, property tax goes up
Almost half of all luxury items are bought by millennials or younger... On credit. And then they complain about being broke.
There are around 330,000,000 Americans.
The top 10% absolutely can afford this stuff but most of them DON'T BUY THIS STUFF.
It's the bottom 60% that lusts over this stuff and will go deep into debt to get this stuff.
Warren Buffet buys used Cadillacs and lives in a regular house.
Elon Musk drives Teslas.
Absolutely spot on!
Figures When Liars do the figures. They put every little Add-on their sheets so they get add up to a lot of money stupid. I told the dealer options are sunroof 4 wheel. Drive and engine size, that's your options.
This New Dodge 2025 Charger Car is dead on arrival already !!!🤮🤮🗑🗑🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎
Sadly they did it to themselves 😩
The body is cool tho.
They'll never even ship 🤣
At least not until around 2027

D.o.a. Dodge is done!
Absolutely right.... Unfortunately, we are watching the end of the brand, it's a French run company that hasn't a clue about the American driver.
Not only clueless, but borderline contempt for the American consumer.
I think we're seeing the end of dodge. As long as Stellantis owns them. They will go the way for Pontiac, Plymouth, and Oldsmobile
That’s what I have been thinking. Stellantis has put so many restrictions on Dodge they won’t be viable in the next couple of years because they can’t make what we want.
I hope you’re wrong. But I think you’re correct.
Seems like they're only interested in Jeep and Ram.
I've been saying this for months now. Stellantis doesn't care about the American Market. They are a large European car company and they only bought Dodge for the Jeep Ram offerings. Dodge is done in the next 3-5 yrs.
Tim Kuniskis Killed Dodge
You didn't mention how ugly the new "Charger" is - it looks like it has a 3rd gen Camaro hatchback, and a 5th gen Camaro front end, including the Chevy cowl hood...
Charges started out as hatchback nineteen sixty six, the first one
Yeah people who don’t like the design of the new charger are usually don’t know the history. The body style is what a charger should actually look like. Now take that EV bullshit out of it and put a Hemi and that car would be a beast
it looks plain, yeah. but if it had a hemi in it no electric or hybrid id buy one
Great video. Dodge obviously doesn't know their customer and doesn't care to know them. As the purchaser of 7 brand new FCA/Stellantis vehicles in the last ten years I can tell you something has changed in how they view customers. On the first four, they sent me surveys on what I liked/disliked about the vehicles. On the last four (an RT Challenger and Charger, an SXT Charger, and a new Wrangler) they never sent me anything. Nothing. Translation: "we don't give a crap what you think about the vehicle"....not a good way to run a business
Their typical customers have lower-tier creditworthiness, cannot afford payments, and should not be buying new cars. Their typical customers are ghetto.
@wakeboarder9180 since when did a globalist company care about anything else except their agenda?
The hell with em. They won't get any more of my money!!!!!
No one cares about the customer anymore, all about that🤑
Dodge sold me a manufacturing defect car on 12/14/23. Car will need $32,000 to repair a $61,000 brand new car. Issue is a weld bond failure. Repairing it is an intrusive process. I found out the issue the same day car got delivered. Reported to Dodge. Dodge wants to "fix" it other than replacing my vehicle. "Fix" means chopping the entire back part of my car, ripping everything apart, put glue/weld in, and re-assemble. The repair is bad for the future health of the vehicle plus it will go on my car fax record depreciating over $10,000 for me. Talk about treating customers like shit - I am a prime example.
Sad part is this is my third (AND LAST) Dodge.
@@aalim95 Wow! Terrible. I'd pursue lemon law action on it if you can
Gas power....or no car
What a cute little guy. Love the intro and his enthusiasm.
Got a 2023 GT for below MSRP out the door and 0% APR for 72 months. They literally begged me to do the deal.
Good for you man, those dealers that tried to be greedy just hit their face on the wall of reslity and now got overstock sitting on their lot (for almost a year soon) begging people to buy something!
Hey bro, how do you like the car? I'm considering getting a 2022 GT.
How did you get 0%apr? They told me that Chrysler Capital is offering only 6.9% apr at this time
Should have got a rt which is literally 3-5 thousand more in dealers in the Midwest
It's a daily driver so it's perfect for me. The RT AND GT look exactly thr same. It's not worth the extra money to get only 70 more horsepower.
I went by my local dealer to say hi and I was surprised how many Hemi powered Scat Pack trimmed and up were in the back lot. Special editions too. No mark ups. Just 30+ and at least 10 that I would buy on the spot if I did not already have my 22 that is a keeper. They are worried
Back in January I went to my local CDJR to look at Scats. With mandatory add on's and fees, was still between 5k and 7k over sticker. He didn't seem concerned at all with all the inventory. He said these are the last of the Hemi's. People who know their value will gladly pay the asking price. Told him good luck and to call me when the 2023's he has celebrate their first birthday on the lot.
I know where there’s two Mopar Edition Scat Packs for msrp right now. Maybe even less.
@ocmotivator Thanks for the reply. I ended up buying an SRT8 with a little over 30,000 miles for 1/3 the price. Love the car. Dodge had better figure their customer base real quick or they will end up going the way of Pontiac, Oldsmobile etc.
I was looking at new inventory at Chapman Jeep in Henderson Nevada on March 27, 2024 and found that they had over 300 2023 vehicles still in stock!
I dont think I've seen a single Hornet on the road.

We need a standalone company to recreate Plymouth, buy the rights to the Hemi line that Stellantis does't want, and buy all the tooling from Brampton - then they should recreate Plymouth to build a Cuda and a 4-door Fury at a new plant in a red state to keep costs down. Then they can add in a retro Plymouth truck, and a limited edition Hemi powered Prowler to round out the brand. Let Stellantis keep the Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Chrysler brands that are completely ruined now...

Where I work, I'm next to a Hyundai dealer and they can't even give there ionic's away. They are sitting in the over flow lot and they just keep coming.
IF Dodge had the balls and brains to make a compact EV good enough compete with Civic and Corolla, that will give them enough credits to keep making hemis.
But no one is buying Hemis right now. Probably more are being repo'd than actively being sold today. A large percentage were only sold due to cheap credit, but now that we'll has dried up.
They already did. The Diamond Star cars ... Eclipse, Laser, and Talon. These cars could walk all over the muscle car offerings of the day with very minimal modifications. And they had 2 liter Hemis. They got a reputation for being unreliable because many young kids bought them and beat the hell out of them and never did any maintenance.
They should do a new Omni, make an EV version, hybrid version, and ICE version. Have the EV around 25k, the hybrid around 25k, and the ICE around 19,999
Soy latte 😂 you also forgot wearing skinny jeans and driving a Subaru Outback
Remember the movie The Dilemma with Vince Vaughn and Kevin James? In the movie Vaughn and James are developing a system to simulate engine noises in electric cars and proposing the idea to..... wait for it.... Dodge! That movie came out in 2011! And Vaughn is spot on with his opening comments during his presentation to Dodge management - "Ladies and gentlemen, electric cars.... they're totally gay."
I would say that with a likely change coming in government who will lower epa standards and end the ev credits automakers have to buy Stellantis hopefully might bring back the Hemi just to save themselves. But then again I get the feeling that they are all in with the current government we have now. The Hemi would give them a sales success though.

I agree with Uncle Tony on the twin turbo six cylinder. That turbo stuff just beats the hell out of those engines. I had a salesman try to get me interested in the new "Charger" and I pooped all over it. Pass the barf bags.
Also, turbo stuff just isnt as exciting to most buyers like a v8. I just dont see this charger selling very well
Unironically i dont like over stressed turbo engines i would like more an atsmosferic i6 with 6 speed manual.
They raised the MSRP so much that they can't discount it enough. Combine that with the way they treated people, they are screwed. Ive been finding used scats for mid 30s. No way I'm paying 70 for a newer one with some stickers.
Yup. Absolutely. I’m def seeing prices trending downward on the used ones.
Back in 2010 when Dodge first brought out the Challenger the entry level 5.7 V8 model started at $29k. The appeal was that the average Joe could get into a V8 muscle car for under $30k. They sold like hotcakes. In 2015 the Hellcats started at under $60k. The appeal there was the fastest production muscle car. It was faster than European offerings that cost double or more and ticked all the boxes for American muscle. They also sold like hotcakes. Now they're going to try to sell non-competitive appliances/turds with diamond pricing, and try to put lipstick on them by calling them "electric muscle" (laughable--who are they kidding?). They've completely lost their way.
I won’t buy a dodge for the rest of my life . This whole ordeal has made them un appealing . I was going to buy a 392 300c blue but I’d rather buy a bmw now
Same here, I purchased 3 mopars in the last 7 years brand new and will never purchase another. I switched to BMW and couldn't be happier.
They came out with a blue one? Thought it was only red, white and black
@@obertosiciliano1243 yeah no blues
Enjoy your BMW issues LOL
@@trueyork9290 I did the same thing, but I've been buying Dodge (only one brand new) for over 20 years. I switched to BMW because I traded my 15 Challenger in for a Durango, and I wanted an interim fun car until Dodge came out with the new generation of Charger/Challengers sporting the I6 Turbo. but now with the big reveal, I will likely stay with my BMW as the new Dodge is larger, heavier, and looks worse (IMO) than the outgoing model. I would be all over the new Charger if it was the size of the 3 series.
Even if they get to 100% EV for new cars by 2035, the infrastructure to support all the millions of EV'S will be maybe in place by 2055. I'm going to cruise past all the sheeple sitting in parking lots waiting for their turn at the charging station. No thank you, can't see me ever wasting hours every weekend looking for a working charger. Dyno juice for this hombre.
That EV by 2035 etc won’t and will never happen . Governments “ green new deal” propaganda .
If people don’t buy them . Auto manufactures will go bankrup.
You will have to make an appointment to get your monthly ration of gas.....To continue the insanity, continue being a Democrat....
Unfortunately when the grid keeps popping substation fuses, your gas station pumps may not work either. It can be done, but these companies need to invest in charging stations like Tesla did before it went more mainstream. They don't want to do that.
@@mikelemoine4267 you can always siphon a liquid .. you can’t siphon electricity
You know that many gas stations had generators that run on gas? I mean seriusly did you even leave your home?
Once the shareholders see the inline 6 sales soaring against the EV they are most likely gonna place the emphasis on the combustion and use the ev as alternative secondary option.
Those twin turbos are going to be so hard on that v6 I bet after 2 are 3years the motor will be toast.
If it was simply a money issue, they would just have kept the Hemis. The US government and governments around the world have structured regulations passed over the past few yeas; to electric cars the only option available for regular people. That is the entire point of the regulations passed; making petrol powered cars a 'limited' special thing, car makers can only make a very small amount of; as such being limited to the highest end most expensive models.
Blame the goverment, not stelantis, ford, or anyone else. The government is the one subsidizing the EVs; they would have never made it as far as they did if it was not for that.

Tim just reads cue cards he has no idea what he's saying or doing he's just a body for the blame
@RTBOY954x Tim is a true car guy/Mopar enthusiast, and he has a whole lot to do with the success of SRT and the Hellcats. The merger with Peugeot creating Stellantis is what ruined EVERYTHING. Tim K is just as broken hearted as the rest of us, being forced to try and sell us on this EV BS, and the death of the Hemi V8. He didn't ask for any of this. Your 1000% correct!! A Charger with v6 twin turbos should have been first out the door, I might have bought one...esp if it was named a Challenger!
Looks like a Bud Light move.
They bring back the hemi guys, "That thing got a six pack?"
"Sure does" Opens the hood and sitting in the frunk is a 6-pack of Bud Light in an electric chiller. Or they make the v6 header heat shields look like Bud Light cans. They could have Dylan Mulvaney promoting it with the new regendered Dodge Sisters. The new faces of Dodge.
Dealer called me last week wanting to buy back my charger
I don't feel sorry for one single dealer. They can't move cars because of greed. Whenever a new car comes out that people really want the dealer puts a ridiculous markup on it and in some cases the car sits until the next model year because they refuse to not let it go for MSRP. Forget invoice were talking MSRP! The one thing I like about Tesla is direct sales and not having to deal with the dealer BS. How many stories have we heard about dealers screwing people with Hellcats? In fact didn't a dealer just recently screw you over with false advertisement on a Hellcat? Don't get me wrong it's not just Dodge. Ford tried to screw my buddy on a Bronco he ordered the day they went live. It just sucks how hard it is to find an honest dealership.

Stellantis is going to kill the Dodge brand! They will become a truck only in a couple years. Cars are stacked up at dlrs & nothing is selling! Very Sad!
I personally do not think Dodge should’ve sent the prices thru the sky, look at brand new (widebody) scatpacks right now you cannot find one for less than 60k, when in reality that should be a lower 40s car, you’re still getting the same cheap interior from 2015 so IMO Dodge had no right to rise the prices if they got nothing new to offer other than some stickers and “sPeCiAl EdiTiOn” plates… I remember back in 2018 l saw a brand new go mango Challenger Hellcat with 10 miles on the Odometer sitting in the showroom for 48k😂 bet the same car nowadays is 70K smh

Man, I’m glad I sold my Challenger when I did. Got good money for it and moved into a much better car for the money. Dodge may be done for.
Making a young person smile is phenomenal fun . Good on your sir! Thx
There is yet another problem, it's huge, and it affects all new vehicles. The vehicles are SPYING on their owners/drivers, reporting them to the government, the police, and their insurance companies. People with new cars are getting their insurance raised by a whole lot, and the insurance companies are actually telling them it's because of data about them and the way they drive, which was SOLD to the insurance companies by the car manufacturers. Not only do you get screwed over when you buy one, but you lose ALL your privacy, and you just keep getting screwed over because of the car manufacturers selling data that they should not have in the first place. They are using your own car, that you paid a fortune for, against you. Don't buy a new car of any kind.
Don’t buy a red eye everyone with no job actually has a job to try to steal it too much of a headache

No V6, no 300 hp, and none reasonably priced
Fantastic read on the Auto market, Jeep/Ram will suffer no doubt. Greed put them in their sorry situation.
Sounds about right. My son sells Dodges in Savannah Ga and he's thinking about going to Subaru across the street. Funny thing is none of them (including my son) felt bad charging $50K for a Hellcat. I don't feel sorry for any of them. Any yes, I sold cars before too; Chevy/Cadillac.
Dodge dealer here in Michigan has called me almost every week for the last couple months for a WB scat. Begging me to come look at it. Times have changed.
I’m beginning to think Dodge is not part of Stellantis’s business model. If this gets to a point where they can’t manufacture anything because the dealerships are starting to fold they will pull Dodges plug. So one that jumped out at me…so the Demon 170 top speed is 149, the Dodge e-Charger RT top speed is 137 and the Scat Pack is 132. This looks like a trend to me . I’ll bet the top speed for the twin turbo will be around 140.

I wanted to buy a last year Challenger but I am pissed at the price gouging. I'm just over the whole car scene. After talking to friends and family that have or had EVs I'm not interested. And I'm not a turbo guy.oh well, fun while it lasted.
LOL Who designed this Charger? It looks ridiculous! Plus it’s a EV 😂? Then next year you get a twin turbo 6 cylinder 😂,,,,,,,This is what’s replacing all the Hell Cat Challengers and Chargers???? You can’t make this up 🤯
I don’t care for that EV Hatchback charger at all.
They get carried away with the lights on just about every EV like it’s Tron.
What if you have to replace the batteries? What would it be , 20k , 30k , and take the body off the frame?
Batteries should last 15-20 years. Replacing the whole battery pack is easy. They lift the car and slide in a heavy duty platform and disconnect the battery. They can replace a whole battery pack in 2 hours. A whole battery pack does not go bad, they can replace the few cells and restore total range to near new. The costs is much less than total replacement. I have an EV and a muscle car. Love them both. Buddy of mine has a 392 and a Model Y, he is looking forward to the banshee.
Bought a 2010 Challenger RT hemi w/low miles. Didn't want all the electronic crap on it. Every time I see it, I smile! Driving it is pure joy for me every time! The thrill of punching it and hearing that hemi roar is music to my ears! It kills me to know that Dodge is going EV.
During part of the 60's and 70's, I was a Dodge factory rep. I was in my 20's then. I finally quit because I realized there would not be a future for me. I really feel sorry for Dodge. They are like the red-headed stepchild! It's pitiful. You need to be owned by a company like Toyota that actually figures out what the market is. Then they will build dependability and reliability into the cars and trucks and then sell them! You can do all the talking about what Dodge will have to sell, but it means NOTHING! If Stellantis decides to build 3-wheeled cars that is what you are going to get! I have no idea how a Dodge salesman can make any kind of a living or have any kind of a future under the current strange system!
The kicker is the fake motor noise it makes. How embarrassing
Having to force this EV on us, you can see not even Tim Kuniskus is thrilled about this idea. Stellantis had lots of time on its hands to take the Pentastar and engineer a dual injected version of that motor. I feel like the hurricane is just a licensed copy of the Inline six that Mercedes benz already has on the market. They knew that bread and butter cars used to be the pentastar powered cars. They doubled down on the turbo fours without a real possibility of a more efficient v6/hybrid. The inline 4 hybrids are a hard sell but they would have been better accepted if they put them in something more desirable. Realistically the inline 6 can only be used in the SUVs and the trucks or large body platforms. Stellantis already has teething problems with maintenance costs to customers because they took a transverse v6 and used it in many longitudinal platforms which makes repairs and maintenance a pain in the ass.
When you really think about it the Stellantis umbrella invests in brands like Nissan and CDJR that run a chassis generation for 10 years or more so the brands are always playing catch up and compromise too much to bring us niche cars or outdated bread and butter cars. The EV agenda itself has affected automobiles on a whole.
They might as well had offered the Charger or another derivative of that LX chassis with the 4xe powertrain to sell along side EVs until they could convince us the SIX PACKS are worth buying.
We are looking at a new platform with a drivetrain that Stellantis is not proficient in and a handful of cars with high price tags and no real customer base. They better start making deals with youtubers to let them have a Charger for a year and let them be as honest about them as possible. Put that Dodge marketing machine on the defensive now because, the dealers are the ones going to suffer.
Price, price, price! Who can afford what they have on the sticker?
If they make the 6pack a wide body. Then MAYBE they will have me attention
I agree with you 💯 percent. Dodge should release the ice version first, maybe a PHEV Charger.
If they put the base hemi in the new two door and badged it R/T. They'd sell the hell out of that car.
Love the intro!
The govment would prefer you get around with ox/cart.
I did a test drive on a Ram 1500 Limited, and was offered $10k off sticker during the drive. Didn't take it as it wasn't optioned out how I wanted. But that is where they are at. Starting negotiation off already down $10k.
If a new car sits on the lot for over a year, is it true they must sell it as a Used car and does it come with a price cut.
no, i have seen new 3 year old cars for sale before
All I want is a scat pack challenger. Thats all 🤦🏾♂️
Why get scat pack when you could get demon or hellcat
I love my scat pack. It's all I need and I'm very happy
man im with you all have mines in the next 2-4 months 😇
@@dbzfan4evermj233why get a demon or hellcat when u could get lambo 🥴
Bro a scat pack you can daily, A hellcat daily driver is wild.
I pray Dodge watches your videos and turns their company around but they may need to continue down this rocky road and learn the hard way. In business keeping your customers happy is always # 1 and when you don't do that those are the company's that fail.
They also discontinue parts after ten years. People like me, with a ten year old ram with 130k miles just wasting in the driveway, won't ever buy another one of their products.
Preach it!
The last comment you made "They act like they have no competition" is very true!
I agree with you, if I found nice equipped EV SXT 10-15k cheaper than an ICE counterpart, I’d buy it! So, I’d buy a nice 30k EV, and I do like Teslas. But at the 60k, no thank you. 😊
I agree that the way to get people to adopt EVs widescale is to make AFFORDABLE EVs and not luxury ones. If it is not economically viable for manufacturers to make EVs that are affordable to lower middle class, then EVs will never have mass appeal. Seeing how difficult it seems for manufacturers to make ICE vehicles affordable to lower middle class I do not see this happening. For a vehicle to be priced reasonably, it needs to be something a person can save up for and purchase without taking out a vehicle loan.
Over the last 4 years Stellantis has raised their msrp over 60%. If people hold and dont buy we can eventually see vehicles below the prices of 2020. Everything works on supply and demand so all people have to do is wait and hold.
Supply and demand? Not always. Government steps in with pollution and safety laws, and if the cars don't sell, bailouts to preserve all those union jobs. And do unsold cars ever get crushed and written off? Aren't car companies "too big to fail"? They seem rather insulated from market forces to me.
How many times a year do you take your Lambo on a overnight road trip over 300 miles, 500 miles, 700 miles?
Twice last month and already put 3000 miles on it in the first month and a half.
So yours is most likely on a lease, because that is much higher use than is typical for a high end sports car.@@ocmotivator
@@howardmarkert8150 I don’t think you understand how the different leases work. A traditional lease has mileage restrictions because the car goes back to the bank at the end of the lease. I put 50% down and did a simple open ended lease” for tax purposes and there’s no mileage restrictions and at the end of the lease I still own the car as it never goes back to any bank. I did a video on this. With that said, I believe in driving the cars I own and not using them for decoration.
Don’t mind the body styles, but not a turbo guy. I had turbos and they never held up. No desire for a EV at all. Currently I have the 3.5 V6 in a Charger. Certainly not a hemi, but it’s not bad.
W,ho knows? Maybe next new car might be a V8 Mustang. 🤷🏻♂️
Almost every brand out here is going to turbo engines- including Ford. I’ve have nothing but turbos in my last Volvo, BMW & Mercedes ….. had no problems out of them …… love them for the torque. You won’t be able to buy any brand without turbo for much longer.
What you’re saying makes perfect sense.
I will say the 2024 dodge charger looks good inside and out. It will look even better with option packages and decals but I am not in the least bit interested in a EV Version.
i’ve only seen one hornet on the road since they came out 😂😂😂
