No its not 2 hour long recipe .. I am Rajasthani.. And isko bnane me 30 min lgte h bas.... Is chef ne thdi complicated kr li h recipe ko.... Jese dhabo pe bnti h vese btayi h... You can make simple home style gatte ki sbji... Don't fry them.. Ubla hua sidha hi dal do.. And if you want you can skip lahsun pyaaz.. Also... Just gatte and dahi with rice... Fantastic

I am from Rajasthan and make this sabzi the exact same way except one change is that after frying I put gatta back to the boiled water we used initially for gatta. That keeps them soft. But this looks amazing.

Hi sanjyot...i am marwadi and prepare authentic marwadi food....gate ki sabji me tomato piree nhi jati.....many cooking channels without proper knowledge add in the puree but actual authentic way is without 🍅 puree just dahi gravy. I am big bog fan of your and follow only your recipe while cooking something new but trust me it taste real and great if made originally...you should also add in 2tsp malai which will really taste better🙂
This is something similar to the way we make gatte ki sabji at home. Differences 1. My Mom avoids deep frying gatte (why to spoil a healthy dish by deep frying it in oil) 2. Mummy Don't add tomatoes in the gravy (Dahi is enough to get that khatta flavour By the way I am Rajasthani and I have liked gatte ki sabji since childhood.

Sanjyot I have made this sabji several times but tomorrow I am trying your recipe. I have never fried the gathas or used dahi and coarsely ground jeera dhania and sonf. Sure it will take it to the next level. Will let you know how it turned out in a couple days. ❤️❤️

6:36 at this step... chef, since I am a Rajasthani and I eat this recipe fairly regular....I want to add that always fry your gatte before putting them in gravy.... you'll notice sharpe difference between fried once and just boiled once.... without frying you'll not be eating the best version of this recipe 🫰 And also I like to add one more thing and that is.....try not to add garlic in it....make this recipe without garlic and strong hing flavour.... you'll love it ❤

Boiled gatte tastes so yummy....just try once. Also if you add green methi leaves or palak leaves in your dough, these will taste super yummy. Chef we don't fry gatte in our homes. ....which really tastes very delicious. We have different recipe .

You only get besan in the market, there are no options in North unlike your case in Rajasthan.
I mean mota patla option isn't there.

A small tip : taste your dahi before adding it because if its sour the entire gravy can turn out sour
