SOUNDS GREAT 👍
I have always been 2nd and 3rd gen but that d150 is nasty, love the build and stance
Thanks for watching. It's a good friend of mines. I like seeing it compete myself.
Very cool truck. I have an '88 D100 I bought new. When the original V6 gives up I plan on some type of V8 swap.
Go for it! I think you'll love it! Thanks for watcing!
I have a d100 I wanna swap who does it
Love it!!! Trade my Cummins for it!
Thanks for watching.
What suspension kit does it have, lowering kit and control arms and etc please
Thanks for watching! This is a friend of mines truck. I believe it's just chopped coils in the front and an axle flip and hangers in the rear
I’m working on a 83 150 what is your ride height? I like the way your trucks sits and want to do that to mine. Very nice truck, great run and video.
Hey, thanks again for watching. This is not my truck but, I do know that the owner cut approx 1-1.25 coils of the front springs and did an axle flip on the rear
@tommy if you do dodge b150 lower control arms you will sit a tad lower
Hey man what all did you have to do you mount the 89-93 style grille. Or does it mount to the 88 without a problem
This is good friend of mines truck. Hit him up on Instagram - 75_prostockduster
I'm sure he can answer your questions.
Thanks for watching!
I changed the complete core support. You may be able to just change the lower trim between the fenders and drill some holes and make it work. Good luck if you try and swap yours!
@@JAMESSPEEDSHOPI have an 84 D150 and I saw this truck at the Mopar Show in Rockingham last year and when I looked under the hood I saw you have the setup I been wanting in mine but i could never catch you at the truck. My question is how much trouble is it for this swap and what transmission did you put behind it?
@@isiahphillips8971 I used a 545 rfe from a 2011 ram. I used hooker black heart engine mounts and transmission mounts that Holley sells. Mounting the engine and transmission basically same as removing and installing the stock stuff. With the Holley mounts you can get adapters for any transmission you what to use. The most expensive part is the wiring for the engine and transmission. Holley has terminator efi that will run the engine but the newest transmission they can control is a 46 rfe with is a 4 speed auto. They were used from 1994 to 2003 I think. You can also run a stick shift or a 727 transmission with the Holley. I used hot wire auto stand alone kit to run my engine and transmission. If you have more questions let me know
Great job ! Would like to do the same ( auto cross to my 62 f100 step but the coyote might be lighter ,what would you say?
Hey, thanks for watching! I don't know if it's any lighter but it would definitely make a very 😎 cool truck!
That thing looks like one you would find in a junkyard... Until you look under the hood
Yeah, I think that was intentional. Thanks for watching!
I’d pay 30k for that today
Really haven’t planned on selling it but I guess everything has a price.
Wheel and tire size?
The rears are 20X11 with 315/35R20. The fronts are 20X9 with 265/35R20. For auto crossing I have started running 20X10.5 with 305/30R20 on the front.
When I get my own dodge ramcharger, I plan on putting in a 5.7 hemi with an 8 speed auto with the etorque too.
That will be a very nice package.
I haven't gotten confirmation that Etorque can be swapped yet. Though I have thought about the same thing in a first gen dakota. 3700lbs wet before a weight savings plan. An etorque hemi with an 8 speed would make it absolutely scream
@@timbrwolf1121 that'd be absolutely amazing.
@@ChargerusPrime Yeah dakotas with just the 240 or so stock hp and torque roll out. An MDS etorque hemi would double the horsespower, torque, and fuel mileage. Plus the Etorque is incredibly noticeable on the 6000lb+ rams. If I can get ahold of a 4bt I plan on putting that in the 95 and a hemi in the 93
@@timbrwolf1121 hell yeah! 4bt would be great in one of those! I've got some fun ideas of my own for an ecodiesel motor and a 68 charger.
I’ve been dreaming of doing something similar but a hellcat motor in my w250
That would be awesome! Thanks for watching.
Do you know the wheel and tire size?
The rears are 20x11 with 315/35r20. The front’s that you see in this video are 20x9 with 265/35r20. I have started running a set of 20x10.5” and 305/30r20 on the front for auto crossing
Brand ?
