I have a 84 dodge d150 prospector with a 318 that has about 25000 miles on it and is all original. Im looking for a 440 to keep it period correct. Or do you think i should go big and put a hellcat motor and trans in it.. or should i keep it original
We generally go more towards just shoving the biggest newer motor in them as we can afford, but of course it all will come down to what you want. Also the 440 was used from 65-78 so not technically period correct but would be cool in the 84!
Hey Jesse I’ve got a 1970 D100 that had a 318 in it. I found and rebuilt a 325 hemi and put in it. It’s close in size to the original engine and runs great. Bigger is not always better, and there’s not any better cool factor than an old hemi.
Gosh darn this thing is so freaking cool, had to come in and show some mopar love
Thank you. It is definitely gonna be a cool little pick up.
I have an 86 D100 that was my dad's and I can't wait to hemi swap it 😎
It will be a fun project!
Can someone tell me what the Wheels are at 2:15

Love the red seats and gauge cluster you have In it
The gauges are Dakota digital gauges and the seat is a factory bench that was reworked and customized by a Paul Gomez interiors out of Fort Worth, TX.
@@Autotrocity thank you for taking the time to inform me. I appreciate it

pretty sure you are correct. The mustang would have been around 3500lbs and the charger about 5200lbs.
@@Autotrocity chargers are like 4500 and mustangs are like 3700
