It’s tough to travel when you’re prepping. I always get bloated and my digestion and sleep get off, which effects everything. Hopefully a couple of those pounds dropped off when you got back and got settled! Either way, you couldn’t miss your guy’s big day. Living a full life is worth the sacrifice!
💯 not to mention you kind of miss out on the adventure of travelling, eating the food is a huge part of the Greek culture. I can't imagine going to Santorini and eating America food 😢

The thing that sucks is that it is contagious. These competitions, for men and women, set an unrealistic standard that people think is healthy. Strength is definitely healthy, so is flexibility. I would love to see some yoga in the mix. Your body healthy, like it is most of the year, is probably way more impressive than shredded. We need new examples of health.

Damn bro. It just happened to me. Busy cutting, had this crazy rash had to take meds that make me bloated after being on 4/5 weeks in. Woke up so bloated and heavy the scale fucktup my mood today, then i see this!
Thank you for sharing this side of prep. People post the cardio, the workouts, some of the meals, but not many people post how hard prep is mentally and it takes very special people to get through it! I am currently 8 weeks out from my third show, second season in competing and it has been going well, but no shares how hard it is to see the scale go up or not move even though you have DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT! I have been feeling that the last two weeks now but my coach has reminded me that it's about how I look and not the scale numbers!
